Hello!! I was wondering what brushes or technique you used for the last experimental piece and the icons? Thank you! Your art is just so scratchy (/pos) and I really like it!!

HAIII thank you for the kind words, i'm glad to hear. :} <3 and sure thing - i draw using procreate on an ipad!! the bnuy experimental was mostly drawn with a hard round default brush (and liquify for the squiggly background) + halftones you can easily find by looking up free procreate brushes and/or in forums. while the hatched icons i used these default pencil brushes within the sketching category:

i do flat colors and shading like how one usually would. followed by hatching last + constantly color picking surrounding areas often:

i usually change the angle of the hatching every 4-7 stroke lines. i have an old publicized speedpaint of one of the icons as well:

you may notice that i slap in personal-made textures throughout the process of the vid, but that's just me trying to make the colors more varied in general. the scratchy effect you're looking for can still be achieved with the deets above, i hope this helps!! ^ㅅ^ 💖
