Another day, another fan. Mammon wasn't half as self-centered and self-appreciating as Asmodeus was, but there were days when his confidence soared sky-high. Demons, spirits and humans alike adored him. They either wanted to be him or be with him, and he wasn't above indulging in his greed for attention.

Except the second his ego swelled, it was promptly popped by the second message. It struck true and fast, the thinnest and sharpest point releasing a whole realm's worth of hot air.

like @ofcryptid - their muses are so awesome and I love the way they write! It's always so much fun to read their responses to things because of the personality spencer has and their ocs are just super creative in my opinion

and @casketcat / @kissespink - binx's ocs are super creative and binx is just a mega sweetie and amazing writer, I always have a lot of fun writing with them as well as seeing their interactions

@xamassed's anita is also such an amazing OC too i love being able to have her and mukuro interact, they seem to mesh super well and I just love seeing posts about her on the dash

@zorkaya her OC is amazing!! I love all the detail she puts into verse ( and her response ) posts and her writing is gorgeous !!!

Dia's ( @kismetkiss / @woefulcosmos ) OCs are also just super top notch!! and her writing is just so superb!! I love writing with her muses very much tbh she's so much fun to write with and talk to

He knew he didn't deserve them, and he knew that there were others that believed the same — yet he latched onto those three words like they were his one and only lifeline. On those days when he felt the most worthless, they would be.

It meant they had picked him. Of every demon from the heart of the Devildom to its outermost reaches, he was the one they had fallen for. The moron, the cheapskate, the shameless scammer and money-grubber. They said those words because they meant it, despite all of the poor choices, poor words and stubbornness he had shown since their first encounter.

"Ah, shit." He interrupted himself with a sniffle, but he refused to let himself reveal more than that. No, wait. One more. Sniff. "Why are ya bein' so sweet, huh? Ya ain't gettin' anythin' outta me!"

They would, but what they earned themselves were a pair of hands cupping their pale cheeks. They were pulled in, his forehead bumping against hers. Nose to nose, Mammon stood there with his eyes half-closed and his heart threatening to rip itself free of his chest.

"I love ya too, precious. I know it ain't as cool sayin' it right after ya, but I mean it. Gonna keep meanin' it for a long-ass time too, so ya better real good an' used t'hearin' it."
