Actually, now that I think about it, I think I was definitely wrong about Dreams manipulation tactics changing with his goals. Like, i still dont think he wants to work with Sam or be 'friends' with him like with Tommy during the exile arc, but he is still doing the thing of breaking people down and then building them up with a fascimile of kindness so that theyll listen to him

Im assuming the time passed irl is the same as the time passed in-universe which means that Sam has been alone in the prison for 4 days but Dream is a lying motherfucker whos telling him that its only been one day

Okay now hes saying its been 2 days but hes still lying

1. Dream being like "[the evil bunker full of everyones sentimental items] was just theater" has some serious Wilbur vibes ngl

Dream is asking Sam what bad things hes done aside from manipulate Tommy and be dramatic and Sam is like "uhhhhh idk tbh......" as though Dream isnt the guy responsible for Lmanberg blowing up thrice

Sam is basically asking Dream if the things Dream did were wrong/bad and its like, you cant do that, you cant cushion your opinions on someones bad action in this kind of insecurity, especially if youre talking to someone known to be manipulative!!

Ouhhghhh the way Dream can basically make up anything he wants about Tommys time in exile because barely anyone, but esepcially not Sam, visited him

"How was it my fault that Tommy was exiled" I dont even have anything to say, Im just kinda enamoured by the realization of how little people other than Tommy and maybe Wilbur actually know about the exile

Dream just mentioned the Egg and 1. I had already basically completely forgotten about that and 2. The timeline of Drea involvement with the Egg is like, he briefly checked on it back when everything was still kinda kicking of, didnt worry about it for weeks or even months and then he was in jail for a year and he basically completely missed all of the Egg Lore like damn, I hope Punz properly explained all that bullshit to him lol

God, Im projecting so hard rn but Dream weaponizing his own genuine suffering in order get what he wants which also shields him from having to confront the ways it was made him suffer and how it actually affected him is so relatable

Ive been spoiled so I know theyre gonna try and make c!Dream more sympathetic later on and i know a lot of people really hate that and honestly, I think a lot of it comes down to the fact that he didnt get his own POV/only got it very late which gives people less opportunity to sympathize or empathize with him and also really dehumanizes him. Idk this is kinda complex and I'll probably make a seperate post about it

Im going to lose my mind, Dreams monologue about how everyone is the hero in their own story and a villain in many others literally sounds like a thesis statement, like if the Dream SMP had a kids show-esque "message" like so many people inexplicably want it to, it would be this more than literally anything else

oh my god how I literally have been waiting for this moment. technoblade and dream... the OP duo... the “Make-A-Wish” team... I MISS them so MUCH God when they work together, when they team together, when they have interactions I get so excited because there’s not a dull moment with these minecraft nerds.

you already mentioned one thing that literally lives in my head rent free and it’s the fact that dream said the main reason why he doesn’t want to do a manhunt against techno is because he does not want to make this “rival” status of theirs into this enemy thing between communities and between them because they’re friends and he doesn’t want to lose that- and like 🥺 dream really cherishes their friendship a lot !! and respects techno so so much. he’s always been such a big fan of his and they’re both overall super supportive of each other under the whole rivals bit:

another thing that lives in my head rent free is the fact that dream wanted to just vc techno when they were the only ones on the dream smp and just wanted to talk (before sap, george, and bbh crashed their VC LOL) like... that’s crumbs yo. CRUMBS for rivalsblr.  and also we cannot forget the infamous “dream is homeless bit” by techno... how dream had techno’s livestream pulled up and was listening in to his every joke and playing along by making a small diary and writing everything word for word that techno said as a joke. and then this part here too. like they easily bounce off of each other so well,, more interactions please.

GOD I cannot emphasize HOW funny it is whenever dream is trying to do lore and Techno is just pulling his “breaking the fourth wall” jokes in the middle (as he always does) because Techno would just be reading his donations aloud and dream would be patient and just barely tolerate it at first then BLOW UP AFTER THE FOURTH TIME OR SMTH. LIKE TECHNO LOVES PUSHING HIS BUTTONS ITS HILARIOUS god i love them

okay this is more dream smp lore related but like,,, c!dream being the only one that ever really stayed true to his word and never betrayed c!techno... and c!techno agreeing wholeheartedly, but then like both of them explicitly stating that they aren’t friends. we love to see it !! stating and !! respecting !! each other’s boundaries whilst blowing up countries together 😎 (like yeah i get it, both of them saw an advantage and took it but let me HAVE MY CRUMBS PLEASE) also dream and techno teaming up with tommy during the battle of the lake and winning... that was fucking epic and before the 3rd explosion of lmanberg and tommy’s betrayal against techno - techno goes “is this where you turn in your favor?” but then dream is like “pft what No you already wanted to blow up lmanberg” and techno goes “you know me so well dream” BHBJBJBHJ (SYNDICATE!DREAM COME TRUE OR ELSE)

OKAY also lmao I think it is always so funny every time I am reminded of how fucking sweaty dream and techno are even in the dream smp lore. Like the two standing facts of how dream literally made a WHOLE ass fucking obsidian grid above lmanberg with his fucking rapid TNT dropping thing and techno 1. breeding probably over hundreds of wolves as his army and 2. grinding for... way too many wither skulls. and both of them were on the same side. like holy shit they really know how to blow a country up.

also lets not forget the fact that once for buildmart, techno and dream “cheated” the MCC system by learning the builds for build mart (they were on separate teams too)- techno saying “there are 26 builds” and dream was like “actually 27″ they are absolute SWEATY NERDS and I LOVE THEM for that

speaking of MCC... when dream and techno teamed up that one time it was probably both relieving and stressful at the same time. because 1. they both play MCC competitively but in the case they are teammates, they will be more confident in each other’s skills and be like “oh i have dream/techno, they can do the heavy lifting.” whilst at the same time 2. because they are competitive and rivals, they want to outdo each other, they want to show off to each other as well you know?? like “I beat you in parkour” or “i outlived you in battle box” but also we’re on the same team and still winning LOL SO IT’S AN EZ DUBBB

OH WAIT and also that one time in minecraft bingo... i remember seeing a comparison of them being nervous due to the time pressure and it’s funniest thing ever. Dream talking really fast about what materials he has and asking questions to techno whilst techno is like the buffering noise. i love how complete opposites they can be 

... we were robbed of rivalsblr content too from that one masquerade party one... could’ve had it all...

anyway! in conclusion, i’m going to drop some more rivalsblr crumbs here and here and god i love their dynamic so much please give me more content of them and also dream smp related- get c!techno to find out canonically that c!dream is imprisoned and being tortured. have him Feel Revenge for someone he didn’t consider a friend just an ally who had a common goals. and free c!dream and have a happy ending of them being besties who spar every day wooooo

Tommy feels it before anything else.

Dream moves his glowing hand in one smooth motion, and Tommy feels his skin prickle with gooseflesh. A sick, heavy feeling spreads throughout his body as the veneer of reality twists just so, sending him stumbling. 

Time seems to slow and there's something distinctly wrong about the world. The room is filled with bright green sparks and the sound of someone screaming, and for a moment, he thinks he’s been blinded. A shadow falls over him as he blinks away the spots in his vision, struggling to stay upright. He steps back, drawing his sword and baring his teeth as he cranes his neck to glare at the masked tyrant.

Whatever snarky insult he had in mind is lost as his eyes trail up a familiar uniform. A pair of dark sunglasses frame the overjoyed expression of his former friend- the deep laughter, once so familiar, now piercing and cold. 

“It was never meant to be.”  

Tommy barely registers the words- he’s shaking so much that he's struggling to stand. He tries to convince himself it's because of the booming voice vibrating through his bones and not the fear gripping his heart as he looks up at the human towering over him.

It takes him a moment to process what- no, who he's seeing, and the realisation burns at him like digging down into a pool of lava, he’s so stupid, he should have known- 

He flinches as Eret suddenly doubles over, seemingly in pain. This was his chance to escape. Almost launching himself off the edge in his hurry, Tommy rappels down the side of the chest, leaving his hook hanging as he sprints across the blackstone. He can barely think, heart pounding with each footstep he takes. 

Looking back up at the human looming over him, Tommy is struck by just how tall Eret is, how unnatural it feels to see them like this. Moments ago the two borrowers had been standing next to each other, having bonded over their small stature during the creation of L’manberg. He feels betrayed in more ways than one, standing in the shadow of the human who he had once called a friend.

A dark, bitter feeling spills in his chest, spreading through him, and as he looks up at the figure standing before him, he does not see the kind person he had befriended so long ago. He sees someone who was willing to give up the trust of everyone they knew and everything they had built for their own benefit.

He sees a stranger. 

Eret straightens, gripping the edge of the chest as he looks around. Tommy notes their trembling hands, and he assumes they are still reeling from the pain. Serves that traitor right. He forces his expression into something sharper as their gazes meet. 

“Eret, listen to me. And I mean this in the nicest way possible. You fucked up.”

Despite his words, he keeps a white-knuckled grip on the hilt of his sword, half frozen in fear. There’s no way he’s getting out of this alive. That thought is solidified as a set of slender fingers wrap around him in a bruising grasp, calloused hands still lightly illuminated with lime magic.

First Impression

of cwilbur?? oh my god. what even was it. i,, omg i honestly think a lot of my first impressions of the early game characters would have to be from the first sad-ist animatic!! bc that was what really got me paying attention to the lore. so i mean.. hamilton nerd. oh and also he used to flirt w george/dream a lot at the early days (before he was added to the dsmp and then literally flirting w george right before the famous duel) and that was kinda funny.

very complex character, i can't wrap my head around revivedbur's characterization (mostly bc i haven't been paying attention) but like. that whole apology thing w/ tommy is a thing i know happened and that's a lot. very interesting.

Favorite moment

hmmm this is a lot harder than cranboo,, i don't know if i have a favorite moment i think? though his final monologue after his death was quite cool.

Idea for a story

the quick crimeduo drabble i had pasted at the end of my secret Santa was meant to be a c!crimduo drabble set i believe after the duel? tommy waking up screaming from being revived and wilbur being there to comfort him. just.. hhh, l'manberg era i miss u every day

i think people tend to make wilbur too good, too evil, or.. almost too gray?? idk how to describe it. sometimes making wilbur too sympathetic makes me feel weird. and complete evil wilbur is a fun concept to watch like on tiktok and stuff but i wouldn't say it's accurate.

Favorite relationship

wilbur please can we talk about your son please. i think i'm just a huge cfundy enthusiast but there is so much to talk about when it comes to his and wilbur's relationship that i just (vibrates) that's gonna be the one thing that i will probably still be interested in for a long time and yes i know my own daddy issues play a role in that but shut up

idk if this is a headcanon rather than perhaps something that is canon to me and i refuse to hear anyone say otherwise but wilbur was a good father. he was a doting, overprotective, embarrassing mess of a dad to fundy and he loved him but in my thoughts i falter before typing "he loved him as much as he loved lmanberg" because i'm not quite sure about that, but i know that he loved his little fox son. i wrote a drabble about them meeting after wilbur revived actually that i should probably also post

Always Gold by Radical Face is a c! crime boys song please let me elaborate.

First of all, Welcome home son by radical face is a c! Tommy and c! Techno song. So as an sbi enthusiast I think it’s fun to give them songs by the same artist who have very similar vibes. Radical face has a wonderful job of calmly showing intense emotion. When you listen to the words in a lot of their songs it’s very emotional, but you can also tune out and just listen to the music. I’m working my way through their discography but they just radiate fanon sbi vibes. Same energy as a piece of fanart I saw a long time ago with Tommy sleeping on Wilburs lap as techno leans against them. Just that calm and relaxed sense of love and belonging.

Anyways analysis time woo let’s crank out some lyrics. Honestly the lyrics are so perfect throughout I’m basically going to include most of the song oops.

“We were tight knit boys, Brothers in more than name. You would kill for me And knew that I'd do the same”

Already off to a good start. I mean the tight knit part is obvious, like they’re both incredibly close with each other, especially at the beginning. Brothers in more than name?? Canonically Wilbur and Tommy aren’t siblings but they still SHARE that brotherly bond they still think of each other of family after everything. “You would kill for me and knew that I’d do the same” at the start? When they’re protecting their country together?? Yeah because they’re FAMILY they care about each other so much.

“And it cut me sharp, Hearing you'd gone away. But everything goes away, Yeah everything goes away”

Do I need to explain this one. I’m taking gone away as a reference to death here, like he’s up and left Tommy, and suddenly he’s just. Gone. Also the everything goes away is a great way to show the beginning of c! Tommys trauma, how he always feels like good things are going to be taken away from him. No matter what he has, his friends, his country, his discs, it’s all going to be gone eventually. Good things never seem to last for him.

“But I'm going to be here until I'm nothing but bones in the ground. And I was there, when you grew restless”

Wilbur talking about lmanberg as “here”. He knows he’s never going to leave it, the country he built. He lived there and that’s where he’ll die. The captain always goes down with his ship. The restless line reminds me of pogtopia, like Tommy watching as Wilbur started to lose it, started to grow more and more unstable. He was there for everything, the good and the bad even as he watched his brother descend into this downwards spiral and not being able to help him.

“Left in the dead of night. And I was there, when three months later. You were standing in the door all beat and tired and I stepped aside”

Now there’s two ways we could take this one. We could take a brief tour to sbi land and make this about Tommys exile, like he left exile at night after dream blew it all up, and he ended up at technos. And when Techno finally found him there it’s still that same kid he knew before who is just tired and needing someone, and so he lets him in. OR we could make this in reference to Wilburs revival. The three months later would be a reference to the time passed before Wilbur was revived. Now I could make this soft or I could make this angsty so I provide multiple options. 1. Tommy steps aside so Wilbur can see the sunrise, see the works that he’s missed and truly enjoy it again (not canon but shh) 2. I stepped aside but it’s Tommy moving away from Wilbur. Going no, you hurt me and I’m sorry that you’re suffering but I can’t be here for you anymore. 3. Or we got that nice metaphorical door of Tommys life and tommy seeing the brother he lost and choosing to let him “inside”, back into his life despite everything.

“We were opposites at birth I was steady as a hammer, No one worried cause they knew just where I'd be. And they said you were the crooked kind, And that you'd never have no worth But you were always gold to me”

Tommy is steady! Tommy wants the same things, he wants to protect his country, his friends and his discs. Everyone always knew what Tommy wanted and he was very open about what he cared about so everyone knew what was going on with him. Referring to Wilbur as the crooked one, the one who causes problems by creating a drug van, starting a war, blowing up his country. He had no worth because he thought so little of himself that he had to replace his personality with his actions. But tommy still sees him for who he is and up to Pogtopia that’s his big brother. That’s the man he would follow anywhere and trusts his whole world with. Wilbur was always special to tommy, even when he wasn’t to others.

“And back when we were kids, We swore we knew the future. And our words would take us half way 'round the world. But I never left this town and you never saw New York”

My main focus here is on the “but I never left this town” Wilbur always stayed in L’manberg, till the very end. He could never go anywhere else, and he didn’t. This also relates back to another song on my crimeboys list, two birds by Regina Spektor. Wilbur is never going to let go of L’manberg. It’s a part of who he is and he’s never going to be able to “leave” it. The you never saw New York line could be tommy because who knows Tommys plans before l’manberg. Then he got so wrapped up in this country he built that it became his everything, and he never got a chance to do anything else because of the effect it had on him. (I know this is stretching canon bear with me I like angst)

“And we ain't ever cross the sea. But I am fine with where I am now, This home is home, and all that I need. But for you, this place is shame. But you can blame me when there's no one left to blame. Oh I don't mind”

So many thoughts I don’t even know if I can make this coherent. For you this place is shame for Wilbur ESPECIALLY. It’s a reminder of the explosion he created, the hurt he caused the people who’s lives he ruined. He wants it to stand for all it was before, but he has to think about how it’s a source of hurt for so many people and how he sees that as his fault. I don’t think I can form coherent thoughts on the rest of this, enjoy

Final paragraph folks!! Ive never known where you’ve been! Tommy can never get a read on Wilbur and his emotions because he internalizes and hides them! He’s never going to be able to know and understand because Wilbur won’t let him! Holes in you the kind that I could not mend? YES. Wilbur is mentally ill and tommy cannot fix that, and he shouldn’t have to be the one responsible for helping Wilbur. Right when you left that day, the 16th, the day he left for the last time. Another reminder to tommy that everything leaves, nothing is guaranteed. L’manberg is gone and so is Wilbur. If we look at this pre revival, I’m gonna be here til forever could be Wilbur at L’manberg. He died there, and that’s where he’s always going to stay. He might be gone, and L’manberg might be gone but they’ll still always be there in spirit (get it spirit. Ghost. Ghostbur building L’manberg? Anyways...)

heavy sigh. okay i'm about to go off because we've had this talk, tommy holly, but the world deserves to hear it.

i just. i really dislike this idea that ranboo would turn immediately on techno at this news because this wholly and entirely discredits the entire existence of their relationship, which is close enough to be family.

do i think you can explore the complicated emotions ranboo has towards techno after learning about the tubbo execution? absolutely. while canotically not much of his opinion seemed to shift, i definitely think there's room to explore that in fanfiction, and of course i'm nobody's boss so like do whatever the fuck you want but. my thing is like, ranboo and techno are also sort of family. they are part of the syndicate together, they've been neighbors for forever, they're close friends.

ranboo is loyal to his family. this includes tubbo, of course it does, ranboo is considering violence (seriously considering it) for the first time because of his devotion to his husband. and this includes tommy, too, because that shaped a lot of his perception on wilbur once he was revived. but this also includes techno, and he's loyal to techno.

like seriously. we're looking at ranboo "choose people not sides" _beloved and techno "i will repay that kindness tenfold" blade. these are the two most LOYAL people on the server. and like, i say this with love in my heart because i am a tommy apologist (to an extent. the people im most apologist for are beeduo but i don't like the notion of just entirely discrediting people's crimes and whatnot because i think that detracts from their merit), but techno's betrayal of tommy was sparked by tommy's betrayal of technoblade.

do i think techno blowing shit up was like, the best maneuver? no. do i think, considering his character and whatnot, that it was out of line? no. it's the same sort of idealogy he's always sort of had and instilled, and it was known.

ranboo knows that tubbo was blown up by techno, now. and of course there was a lot of speculation since this revelation has been very recent canotically, but like, ranboo... avoids conflict. he didn't take this information as "oh fuck technoblade for doing this to tubbo", he took this as "i will do anything so this doesn't happen again". he doesn't hold l'manberg era against people. and again this is recent stuff so i get it, but still.

ranboo was there when tommy turned on techno. and i don't think he was pissed at tommy at all, no. but he was not at all pissed at techno, either. techno literally tried to cover his ass like five seconds before this can we talk about that. motherfucker said "oh i don't know this guy" when traitors were discussed, and tommy did too i believe.

ranboo, at this point in the storyline, is very preventative. he's not really here to correct past things, especially when it was all done under the pressure of lmanberg and everything. he just wants to protect people. he wants to protect tubbo and michael and tommy and yes, technoblade. hell, he's probably going to be doing a prison break soon at this rate or something! like!

it's totally okay to explore ranboo and technoblade angst. of course it's okay to do everything like i'm no jurisdiction, but like, in terms of my opinion here. there would probably be some sort of abrasion in the slightest of ways when we think about it. because ranboo wasn't there at the time, and didn't see it fully, and doesn't have the full details, and i can see how one might explore his reaction to tubbo and techno's outwardly and seemingly "water under the bridge" idea of it. i just think it does a bit of an injustice to the characterizations of all three of them to show ranboo who ends his friendship with technoblade, techno still being murderous against tubbo (when he was literally peer pressured into the situation and was not at all doing this with bloodlust), and tubbo who just like lets this happen like some damsel.

i've read some decent fics that explore ranboo holding resentment to techno but generally speaking like, it feels a bit ooc. and like. gestures. everything i've said.

as for tommy, like. i don't really have a full response to that sorry, i veered off track a lot here it's just like. gestures. what.

this is gonna be a little ranty and feel free to talk with me in asks or replies about it, but ultimately this is just my opinion and youre free to disagree!

lately ive just found myself unable to be interested in the lore. 

one of my favorite memories from this fandom was watching the l’manberg elections live. watching chat fly by and how the beginning of the stream was pretty chill but then it got more serious and then schlatt was screaming at wilbur and tommy and texting my friends like ‘OH MY GOD DID YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENED?”. the last stream that i really felt like that was the jan 20th stream, the disc finale. and before that was nov 16th. and i miss feeling that when watching these streams. 

the original dream smp story, what wilbur wrote and lead, was an amazing storyline that had a lot of flaws in both the writing and execution that was made by people who were incredibly passionate about it. thats what made it so good. they over acted at some points and you had 1 1/2 hours of stream before you had a chance of lore even happening and it felt like you were watching the first rendition of someones dream project and it felt like i was watching something very special happen, that i was part of something special. i voted in the elections and i posted my theories and i talked in the chat about what was happening. 

i just really miss how it was people who loved what they were doing playing minecraft and making a really cool story out of it. you had your diverging stories, like the pet wars and disc wars, but even those ultimately felt connected to the main story of 5 people trying to make a nation against tyranny and watching the devolution of that revolution. 

now its just...so much happens. ranboo and his enderwalk and fundy and his dreams and erets imposing taxes? and george is in love with god and karls a time traveler and quackity is torturing dream and tubbo has nukes and tommy has a hotel and sam cut off ponks arm and techno has a syndicate and puffy also has amnesia? and jack went to hell and back and bad is possesed. theres probably more that i dont know about because i just...cant find it in me to keep track of that much. 

and good on you if you do care. dont let this post drive you away from enjoying the current content. thats not the point of this post. this is more just me mourning the OG eras, i guess. im not trying to say people who werent there for the OG lmanberg days arent “true fans” or any bullshit like that, or that its “stupid” to still like the dsmp. 

its just...it feels really overproduced and overcomplicated to me now, and it feels a bit like watching something that had so much potential crumble under its own success.

I mean in short this is tommy saying he wont Survive exile. The intro of the song lists when the singer would be home from college/school and that “another 90 day summers gonna take [their] fucking life” which is rlly just. Tommy not gonna live THAT long in exile.

So the thing here is that its “nobody’s fault” bc on one hand it is that he doesn’t blame tubbo but worse he doesn’t blame DREAM. Its just meant to happen, its not bc of anybody, yknow?

Mans tried to jump to his death before he “fell” whether bc of dream or an accident, hes makin the active CHOICE to end it rather than just waiting. Even w the fun he’s having w dream, he’s miserable and he knows he wont make it to see lmanberg again

Dream keeps promising him stuff for the future. Maybe he can visit to see the tree, maybe he can get another visit, maybe he wont be alone. But tommy doesn’t care, its all fake to him (which like, it is so good for him but fjkdlsjf)

Okay so. Tommy kept trying to get shit together to leave, right? He wanted to go back so bad and have this domestic life w his friends but in the end he just got so downtrodden that after his shit got blown up he was so ready to just GIVE UP.

He doesn’t want to be in this situation, he still CARES abt the lmanberg crew but in the end hes been told that they’re happy WIHTOUT him. He’s not angry at them, not anymore, he just wants them to be happy bc he isn’t.

Every day in exile he had no real plans. He just had to exist out there alone and hope someone else came. This IS the day he can do…. Something. He doesn’t know. He doesn’t have a goal.

The other ppl who visited him, like ranboo, KNEW something was happening and that he was in a bad place but tommy had been manipulated by dream so much that he couldn’t process it. No, dream couldn’t be bad, dream was his friend, right? He couldn’t leave exile, dream would be upset. Its all what DREAM wants, not tommy.

Like in the first chorus you could see lights we chase being tommy finding techno’s place, then later it’s the lights of lmanberg as they sneak in. the nights they steal is both just time spent together and also straight up the times they stole shit JFKDSLJ. “the things that we take to make us feel” is the gapples tommy always eats so that he can feel safe (also, bc in the og song this is PROBABLY abt drugs and potions are drugs in universe so. Arguably getting a potion effect from the apple means it is Also Drugs? Fjdkslfj)

Okay so hear me out but. This is just tommy and dream. “I believe that every night theres a chance we can walk away” is tommy hoping desperately for dream to let him go home, to walk away from logstedshire. He never will be permitted, not really, but theres a chance that tommy clings to. He wont “wait too long” while out in exile and stuck w dream bc hes desperate and miserable (also fun fact these analysis is basically me just pmv’ing shit in my head and rambling vaguely abt it but like. Listen,,,, flashback verse jfkdsljf) ALSO. The line “does anyone have the guts to shut me up” in relation to exile!tommy is just VERY important to me. Mans was so quiet and afraid to speak up when in exile.

Following up that last paragraph, this is still in flashback. The days end and dream leaves again, making tommy alone. He asks if he can go back, if he can see home and lmanberg and everyone. But echoing the “to the drums of the city rain” after home CAN imply that “home” has become logstedshire WITH DREAM even tho it keeps him up and aaAAAAAHHHH

He feels isolated from everyone during his exile and lashes out at those who visit, to the point he feels like they’re all more or less strangers and “faces he doesn’t know”. Being tired in the glow is, imo, him over the lava.

Hhhngg okay so tommy breakdown time! Hes in techno’s house (the freezing club) and is just pleading for techno to help. Don’t let “the lights come back” (lava again maybe? He doesn’t want to be Like This?) and just wants to feel like hes at home because hes just left exile and hes Messed Up Over It

OKAY SO THEY MAY NOT BE CANON FAMILY BUT WILBUR REMEMBERS SPARRING W TECHNO AS A KID AND PHIL IS HIS CLOSE FRIEND SO THEY STILL KNEW EACH OTHER AS KIDS SO SHUSH FJSDKL. Tommy just wants things to go back to how they were, before everything. When things were easy and they were kids just having fun. He misses it. Before exile, before lmanberg, before dream. But it doesn’t matter, because they’re stuck in this now. With his brother dead and his closest friend being the man who killed his best friend and helped blow up his country. Again, the drums of the city rain is dream. Because of his influence, its all different.
