oh Please spill the tea on RWRB because I hear a lot about it from book blogs I sort of vaguely follow and I'm dying to hear a mutual's takes on it at this point,

well honeslty i dont even judge ppl who like rwrb like i myself will sometimes indulge in YA romance whatever ...esp if its nostalgic to me..(i know i have a few friends and mutuals who dolike rwrb) and forgive me because im not entirely sober. but basically that book Sux majorly. like.

Okay hi picking up from where i left off. The politics were stupid and bad ( which like. Doesnt automatically make a book bad or an unenjoyable read but still) Like they were so weird and wishywashy democrat. Very "there are good people on both sides!!!!!!" but also like theres this gay republican guy who outs the main character for his own campaign? But like it didnt make a lot of sense. also a lot of emphasis on the. diplomatic relations between the usa and the uk LOL i didnt find that offensive or anything and honestly it was kind of silly. Very fanfic-y but not necessarily the worst part of the book just silly . Oh also loved to suck the english monarchys dick. like...a lot. There was so much "ohhhhh its so hardddd being the prince of england and also im gay its sooo hard and people dont get how hard it is for meeeeee also we colonized people which is sad and embarrassing but yiu just dont get itt" like idk. Weird

Then like the romance aspect was like...idk. It was supposed to be enemies to lovers (<Trope! Always forced trope but whatever) but like it was more like. Mad-at-eachother to friends-with-benefits. Like there was no real romance to the book imo??? readers are expected to believe theyre in love because the book STATES theyre in love but theres not much actual depiction of them falling in love. Like oh wow theyre fucking and stuff. Also their EMAIL SEXTS get leaked. which was really fucking funny not gonna lie. it was just. it was just typical shitty ya i guess. very very obviously fanfic with the names changed. like i do get why people couldve enjoyed the book maybe. but personally it wasnt for me and if the movie is bad im not surprised!

okay!!! ive always found amelias fashion to have two different eras. her 'before crown princess' (1) and 'after crown princess' (2). in the BCP era, her as a child, as a teenager and young adult IS included. i tried my best to get as many pics of her outfits from my story as i could, here:

in other photos her outfits is barely shown or theres text on top so ✋ some things about the overall de villiers to know is they do NOT ! wear orange. simply bc its the opposite of their navy blue official color, so its seen as some kind of 'symbolism' or 'hidden message' by the press. before the orange outfit u can see above, shes worn it before on a meeting with david; she was angry at him and later on again bc she was still mad he sent her away.

as a child, there isnt much to say about her fashion! she never chose her outfits herself; her clothes were already bought For her. she did have the basic decision of 'yes, i like this' or 'no, i don't like this.'

but teenage/young adult amelia loooooved her skirts !!! she mostly wore above knee length / above knee during her teenage years, young adult amelia wore mini skirts, this was Not liked by the ol' etiquette 'how dare this young royal lady wear a skirt that short??' people. AND ! she never cared. she wore whatever she wanted that was trendy and that she liked. the color i assigned to her was purple, though early on in my story i didn't make her wear it as much 😭

i really like n miss this era!! not just bc most cc clothes are cropped but bc amelia really was a lot of fun to dress since she was second in line, and while she DID get criticism for her short dresses, she just kept wearing them.

now the ACP era !!! theres like .....25 years of clothing in this era but. i guess u could ALSO divide it into before becoming queen n after becoming queen, but her fashion sense has not changed at all !!

i tried to get as many photos where u can see amelia's outfits but !!! the overall fashion is the same. no more above knee skirts, more knee length, below knee and midi. also a LOT ! of blue. if the de villiers need the publics support for something (in some of the instances here, were amelias fake cheating scandal + right after becoming queen) they will wear blue 😏. she does still like fitting clothing.

as of the current point of my story i no longer only make her wear blue, simply bc its so boring to ME !!! to have her wear the same color each time. but she usually keeps within the same green—blue hues, white, purple and light pink. only wears red for statements situations. i haven’t made her wear orange since the first part of my story.

as shes grown older, she does tend to go more for midi length skirts— her body has also changed. she is comfortable in her body!!! shes proud of it too. shes had four children, is almost fifty n has gained some weight but she doesnt shy away from fitting clothes !!!! i think she still dresses ‘trendy’ for whats appropriate for her age; i dont want amelia to dress matronly or too old until shes around ~60-70.

in the universe i do think she has only worn designer clothing n nothing below that.  i dont know what else to add 🤔🤔🤔🤔 i think thats itt !!!! : D

Whew so much happening on the episode, sex scenes in the opening always spice things up so that was fun lol + i knew something like this would happen down the road with Maya and Carina since Maya did voiced out the fact that she wasn’t sure she wanted kids (i really hope she goes to therapy) + Andy once again falling to an old habit, hopefully it doesn’t cost her friendship with Maya + i get it, now we have to love Sullivan *sighs* + i love how Miller, Hughes and Dixon are saving the world and they are so cute together, let’s see what brings the next season.

Bonus: how did Maya managed to avoid Carina knowing what happened? It seems in Grey’s news travels fast so i’m wondering how she didn’t know lol

Edit: to people that have sex, how often do you have sex with your clothes on with your partner? Lol that seems quite unrealistic (i know not all cases are the same and there might be folks out there that might keep their clothes on for whatever reason which is valid but you know what i mean) i’m not saying get them naked but it’s like seriously?
