I decided to make this some really cute fluff, and I hope this is what you meant! I also used the term “parent” for Eret just because it’s gender-neutral. @ohword

Your parent was out doing some Kingly duties today, leaving you him alone in the castle.

Clearly, you took this as an excuse to get up to some “mischief”

Which was stealing one of their capes and backup crown.

You were walking around the castle halls, occasionally stopping to spin around, feeling the cape flow in the fake wind you created.

You giggled a bit to yourself at the movements the fabric made when you spun.

You walked through the halls looking out one of windows, it was almost 5pm, your parent should be home soon.

You, wanting to meet them when they arrived home, ran down the stairs, almost tripping over the length of the cape. (Eret is so tall-)

You arrived in the the throne room, deciding on sitting in her throne until they got home. Just so he’d see you quickly and easily, and it’d allow you to make a joke.

You climbed onto the throne, it being much more comfortable than you’d expected.

Curling up on the throne, you rested your head on your arm, which was placed on the armrest of the throne.

After about 3 minutes of waiting, you soon found it hard to keep your eyes open, every part of the room just encouraging you to sleep.

The reassuring weight of the cape on your back, which acted as a blanket.

The small slivers of light shinning into the room, being the only source of light in the mostly dark space.

The comfortable, safe vibe that the room and cape gave you weren’t helping either.

Soon, your eyes closed and you fell asleep, right then and there, on your parent’s throne.

Eret had gotten home later than usual, the others having kept them behind to help with some extra things.

When he walked through the grand doors of his castle, she called out for you, after receiving no response, they were left confused.

She turned her head towards the throne room, preparing to call for you again, but quietly gasped at the adorable sight that greeted them.

Their child, was laying asleep in his throne, wearing his cape and his crown almost falling off the sleeping person’s head.

Eret quietly cooed at you, approaching your sleeping figure quietly.

A pang of guilt struck their heart as they thought of you waiting so long, that you ended up falling asleep.

They shook it off, going over to you, taking the crown off of your head(so it doesn’t fall off) and picking you up.

They had planned on taking you to your bed, but seeing as you most likely hadn’t ate yet, they decided on going to put you on the couch so they could fix something quick up for dinner, and get you up to eat it quicker.

They laid you on the couch, grabbing a blanket and placing it over you, before walking towards the kitchen.

They spent the next 15 minutes fixing up and reheating some left overs, and cooking some green beans as the vegetable.

Once the dinner was finished, they set the table before walking back over to the living room and kneeling beside you.

They gently shook you, trying to wake you up as gently as possible.

“Come on, (y/n), you need to eat dinner, then after you have ate you can go back to sleeping if you’d like.” They gently whispered, still shaking you carefully.

You peeled your eyes open, you and your parent making eye contact to show you were awake.

They smiled warmly, ruffling your hair a bit before standing up

“There you go, come on, let’s go get some food in ourselves, I swear I’m so hungry right now.” They offered a hand to you as you sat up, moving the blanket aside.

You took their hand, standing to your feet before quickly pulling your parent into a hug, your face buried in their shoulder/arm.

“I love you, my parental figure.” You muttered into their shoulder/arm

They laughed at the ending of your sentence, hugging you back and giving you a small pat on the back.

They half-jokingly responded, but in a gentle voice;

“I love you too, my child.”
