A/N: Ok… So i love Robin/Maya Hawke and she was the reason i love girls lol, but i started brainstorming shit, and i came up with a reader who is jealous of Vikie. And i love turning good characters into assholes/prissy bitches sooo…. enjoy lmao.

“Hey Y/N, can you take my shift? I have to go do something.” Robin asks you. “Uh, where the hell is steve? I’m running his shift too. Rob, i dont know if I can run both of y’alls shifts. That's difficult…” you tell her. “I’ll call Steve, but please Y/N?! Vikie asked me out! And I don't wanna miss it.” She pleads. “Fine…” you finally give up. “You’re the best!” she yells as she runs out the door. You don’t know why, but you feel kind of…Jealous? As you’re lost in thought, Steve walks through the door. “Hey Y/N, Where's Robin?” he asks. “Hm?” you look up, “oh. She went on a date with Vikie.” you tell him. You accidentally said Vikie’s name with a weird tone in your voice, that Steve of course noticed. “And you’re not okay with it?” he questioned. “What? Of course i'm okay with it, she’s my best friend” you defend yourself. “Yeah right, I heard that tone when you said Vikei’s name. Why don’t you like Vikie?” Steve asked. “It’s not that I don’t like her, it’s the fact that- nevermind…” you quickly stop yourself. “No! No, you tell me what’s going on.” Steve pushes. “Fine! I have a crush on Robin! I’ve had a crush on her since we were 12, my crush on her has gotten worse! But I can't do anything about it! Y’know why?! Because I'm her best friend, and I'll always be her best friend and nothing more.” you tell Steve, and he looks shocked. “Well… Talk to her about it. Maybe she feels the same.” He suggests. “Doesn’t she tell you everything?” you ask, and he nods. “Can you ask her if she would ever date me? ONLY if she and Vikie arent dating. Please?” you beg. “Okay.” He says. Right after yours and Steve’s conversation, Robin comes into the store happy. Oh no… you think. “She wants another date!!” Robin says excitedly. “Oh..” you say, it’s all you can think of to say. “WE’RE happy for you Robin.” Steve said, with extra emphasis on the we’re. “Y/N? Are you okay? You look sick.” Robin asks, concerned.”y-yeah, im fine i just had bad food today…”  the lie slips off your tongue. “Okay… well go home and get some rest, yeah?” Robin suggests and Steve agrees. “Yeah, that's a good idea.” you say.You tell them bye and leave. 

As soon as you get home you start tearing up, why me?! You think. This feels like torture. You call Eddie to see if you can get some weed from him, “Why do you need it?” he asks. “It’s not important. Just give it to me please.” you tell him. “I usually charge $50, but since we’re friends, and you seem to really need it, I'll charge $25.” He tells you. “Thanks…” you tell him. After you took the weed and told Eddie goodbye, you went home and layed down.  

You fell asleep on your bed, and you were sleeping well until your phone started ringing. “Hello?” you ask tiredly. “Hi!” It’s Robin… “Hey Rob, what’s up?” you ask. “So, I was wondering if you’d wanna come to movie night tonight?”  she asked. “Uh- yeah, of course. What time?” you asked back. “Uhhhh. Hold on.” she says. “Dingus said it’s at 7:00. Don’t be late!” she said with a lot of energy before hanging up. You look down at your watch, the clock says 6:30. Shit you think. It’s a movie night, I need something comfy… You think, so you pick out a grey-ish green hoodie that Robin gave you 3 years ago for your 15th birthday, black leggings, and boots. You put your hair in a messy bun, and left. 

You got to Steve's house around 7:10, but they didn’t care. As soon as you walked in, you saw Vikie and Robin sitting next to each other, go figure, so you went into the kitchen to make popcorn. To forget about your jealousy against Vikie, you counted how many times you heard a pop. At the 13th pop, you heard someone clear their throat, so naturally you turned around, and in the doorway was Steve. “So…uh did you talk to-'' he pauses, nodding his head toward the room Vikie and Robin were in. “No, I haven't. And I can't!” You whisper-yell at him. “Why not?!” he whisper-yells back. “Vikie is in there! I can’t do that to vikie or robin!!” you say quietly. “Fine.” He finally gives up. “Thank you!” you say and walk out of the kitchen and into the living room. 

You sit next to Vikie, since Steve is sitting by Robin, and wait for Steve to start the movie. “So…Y/N, right?” Vikie asked. “Uh, yeah.” you answer, giving her a slight smile. “Robin talks about you. You guys are best friends, yeah?” She keeps asking questions. “Yes, yes we are. Is that an issue??” you ask. Vikie looks at Robin for a second, “No. Not at all.” She smiles. Then she leans in and whispers, “Don’t try anything. I heard you and Harrington in the kitchen. She’s mine and I’ve waited years for her, you’re not gonna take her away or I swear to god I’ll-” she got cut off by Robin asking if she was ok. Vikie nodded, and glanced back at you with an evil eye. You suddenly felt unnerved, and threatened. “I- I got to go to the bathroom.” You announce and stand up quickly. “Do you want me to pause the movie or-” Steve starts to say but you cut him off, “Nope! Keep it on. I don’t wanna make y’all wait a while…” you say as you run down to the bathroom and lock the door. 

A couple minutes later, you heard a knock on the door. “Knock knock, it’s me.” Said the voice. You knew that voice anywhere. It was Robin. So you pretend to be sick. “H-Hey Robs, what do you need?” you say, while throwing some coughs in the middle of talking. “Oh. Do you feel well?” She asks through the door. “Uhm- no. i don’t feel well, tell Steve i'm running a fever, please” you say. “Of course!” she says, sounding worried about you. 

Not even 5 minutes after Robin walked off, Steve knocked. “Can I come in?” he asks. “Mhm” you say. He opens the door and shuts it behind him, then he sits next to you. “What’s wrong?” He asks, worried. “I want to go home…” you tell him. “Why? What happened?” He throws questions around asking if you’re feeling ok, or if you’re hurt in any way. “Uhm- Vikie whispered something to me, and now i don’t know if i wanna stay…” You tell him about what she told you and how it made you feel. “What if she tells Robin?! Steve Vikie can ruin my friendship with Robin real quick. She heard us talking in the kitchen…” Your voice trails off. Little did you guys know, Robin was on the outside listening. She couldn’t believe that Vikie said that to you. But she also couldn’t believe that YOU liked HER. She felt like she was dreaming. She had a crush on you for years, but she could never imagine you liking her back, so she went after Vikie, in hopes to get rid of her crush on you, but it didn’t work. Robin was furious with Vikie. So Robin went up to her, “What were you thinking?! You can’t just threaten my friends!” Robin yells, so loud you and Steve hear it. “I- I don’t know what you’re talking about babe-” Vikie tries, but Robin stops her, “No! Don’t ‘babe’ me! I don’t like the fact that Y/N isn't in here with us, because you just had to start shit with her!” She yells. “It’s not my fault that she has a huge ass crush on you!” Vikie yells back. “What makes you think we’re dating Vikie?! We went on one date!” Robin says to her. Vikie looks shocked. “I- I thought-” Vikie can’t finish her sentence, because Robin keeps going. “No! I don’t date people who like being assholes to my friends! Espeically people who threaten my best friend! I’ve known Y/N way longer than anybody! So I have no issue kicking your ass out if it comes to her!” Robin says, still pissed. You walk out of the bathroom and Vikie looks at you like she’s gonna kill you. Robin catches this look and goes into protective mode, “Don’t even fucking look at her. She didn’t do shit to you.” This shocks everyone, including you. You’ve never seen her this protective. “You know what? Get out. I don’t want to see you around me or Y/N. Got it?” Robin asked. “But-” Vikie starts, “Get the fuck out!” Robin yells.  And Vikie leaves. “Robin, why’d you-” you start to ask why she ruined her love life for you, but she stopped you before you could finish, “Do you really like me…Y’know more than a friend?” She asks. You nod, shyly. “Thank god! I’ve liked you for a while now, but I was so scared to tell you and-” Robin started to ramble, so you shut her up by kissing her. After you guys pulled away you looked into her eyes, “Well you have me now.” You smile at her. You two totally forgot where y’all were, until Steve asked, “Are we gonna finish the movie now, or what?”

best:

1. femme... that was crazy. sorry I literally have no other adjectives to describe it it was just crazy ok...

2. under wraps ummm what if freaky horror WEIRDOS could experience love and friendship too... and what if a fucked up looking mummy was your friend patrick !

3. anatomy of a fall. well it's good I don't know what you want me to say. it's an oscar best picture nominee like. (Idk if it should win that it should absolutely win best screenplay though)

4. triangle. I love you bleakness and tragedy and misery and death and it'll never get better and I hope you die I hope we both die (looking in the mirror)

5. late bloomers. lesbianssss 😁😁😁🤸

and of course the entire resident evil series but especially extinction... alice babe you got me through this month seriously <3 if it wasn't for u i seriously might have watched ted 2 u saved me

WORST:

1. lost and delirious it was just so fucking bad I can't get into it lmao

2. ted. would be first but at least it got ONE laugh out of me. in like the first eight minutes. and some kind of attempt at genuine pathos.

3. whatever it takes. evil and wildly unfunny and unromantic but shane west you and your little accordion and cowboy hat and furby crop top slayed!

ok idk if my brain is just a different shape but do y'all ever have like half-in half-out dreams?? where you're in the dream itself but also somewhere along the way the perspective switches and you're watching the dream as an outsider like a movie/show/video game. because that's like 98% of my dreams and they're always insanely strange. a lot of times i wake up and can't even tell whether i can consider it a nightmare or not

gonna put the dream i had under the cut because what the hell was that lol

okay so there's this big white room with two women in it and they're locked in. gonna say now that the two perspectives in this dream are:

i'm on youtube watching a playthrough (it's markiplier) of this game where you play as a third character

i am the third character itself

the room just has a table in the centre with various things on it, AND a door. but the door is fake. the hinges are attached to a wall and then there's just a piece of paper with a painting of a white door pasted onto the wall where an entrance should be.

woman A stands against this wall as she's talking to woman B and just for fun, woman B closes the door on her, obviously not expecting anything to happen because. it's a wall.

but surprise the door closes all the way. woman B is like what the hell??? and reopens the door but now there's muffled shouts and knocking from inside the wall where woman A is now trapped.

woman B starts trying to get her out, throwing her body against the wall etc. but nothing works. and then very quickly like the flip of a switch woman A just goes batshit insane. like screaming her head off, growling, yowling, the most nasty animalistic noises you've ever heard basically.

then woman A (what's left of her anyway) manages to get a chunk out of the wall that looks like one of those envelope slots but slightly bigger. let's just say big enough for an adult to barely squeeze through after breaking some bones. if you see what i'm getting at

woman A's hand (it's a slightly decayed claw now) reaches through the hole and grabs B and starts pulling her through the hole and you can kind of hear some bones breaking. and once woman B is fully inside woman A breaks more of her bones and kills her.

now this is where the perspective switching comes in. so miraculously i'm there (in the video game that whole thing was a cutscene and now you can play) and woman A sees me, grabs me to haul herself out of the hole and her whole body contorts and disfigures in a really nasty way. by the time she's fully out she's like a really thick long ribbon (don't question it, she still has her limbs though just elongated) that wraps herself around you and tries to kill you and you have to fight her off

so one second i'm watching markiplier play this game on youtube where HE'S trting to get her off his character. and when i say i'm watching him on youtube i really mean that in the dream i'm sitting in bed and having his video play while i scroll through other videos on my home page. and the next second i'll actually be the character itself

anyway i woke up soon after that but after a while another enemy is introduced to the game in the form of a Black Hair Tie which used to be a man. and i remember the hair tie was around the ribbon (woman A) on one end, and i had grabbed the other end and was just slamming them into the table lmao

Some opinions about 02TB's details now that I can rewatch it in its full glory. Under the cut we go. Rants and spoilers ahoy.

1. I still hate the OST setting used when the Digimons evolved. 2 Jogress Evolutions back-to-back and each evolution had to restart Beat Hit! from the beginning. Why not just continue the song anyway? Also the Jogress actions could use a bit more time before Imperialdramon changed into Fighter Mode (so I could enjoy Beat Hit! a little longer).

2. I saw how Ken's hair flutter in the wind and I squeal 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 it looks messy he looks adorkable I love him

3. Still cannot move on from Miyako's blatant flirting towards Ken while Ken be like, "Uh, yeah... Wait, what?"

All while Ken being not ashamed to praise Daisuke or hold him up from doing potentially idiotic stuff again, pls marry Daisuke

4. Why does Miyako call Ken "Ichijouji-kun" as if he's a work colleague? They are friends for a long time now, go call him "Ken-kun" if you really like him you idiot. On the other hand, the way Ken calls her "Miyako-san" may or may not mean she's his girlfriend; some guys call their girlfriends like that as a sign of love and respect (e.g. DNAngel's Daisuke calling his girlfriend Riku "Riku-san").

The whole Kenyako dynamic is weird; Ken has an affectionate way to call Miyako but he's also kinda clueless with her advances lmao what are you two doing, hold hands already if you like each other you idiots. Or were you waiting for Daisuke?

5. Lui is a pretty ok person. Just socially awkward after his damaged childhood. It was funny to see the others berate him for not being grateful Ukkomon saved his life by possibly killing mom - that's fcked up guys where's your common sense?. Also, kid!Lui sounds like Madoka (Madoka Magica). Ukkomon is definitely the Kyuubey of Digimon, yeah.

Wait. Don't tell me Osamu's death was also done by Ukkomon because Ken wished for Osamu to disappear. Shit.

Now who is the "higher being" behind Ukkomon's creation? May be Oikawa, maybe not. But then again how was he able to recognize Ken being a DD in a glance? Sus af.

6. There have been miscommunications and misinformations throughout the movie, but we can still analyze those and determine whether they really are retcons yeah. Nah not gonna analyze shit; I can do overthinking but "analyzing"? Nope.

hi ok this is gonna be really damn long i think Very sorry in advance... so i recently got into bungou stray dogs and when looking around on twitter i saw someone recommend your fics as, quote, some of the best bsd fics ever written, and in the past month i have read a LOT of them. like, probably most of them. i have a folder in my google tabs for all my favourites, some of which include "light", which inspired so much kouyou + chuuya siblings thoughts in my mind, "growing back", which was just really nice and i generally really enjoyed, and "feet over harsh ground", which actually made me lose my damn mind over how good it was, both in premise and the carry out. your writing style is AMAZING and i have no idea where you get your ideas from because every one of the fics of yours that i read was so incredibly memorable and enjoyable that i think it will be a long time before i forget any of them, and btw i still have MORE i haven't read yet but i am planning to whenever i get the chance. but recently i started reading "build upon the ruins" - and oh my GOD. its four am as i type this, and i fully finished it about twenty minutes ago. it's taken me a couple weeks to read the whole fic in full because i've been busy with work and stuff but this morning i binged the last three or so chapters and i seriously cried so hard i thought i was gonna be sick 😭 like holy shit the emotional rollercoaster that i went through reading that was SO PAINFUL yet SO GOOD.... 73.5k words that i will never fully forget because it was so gorgeously written and beautifully structured that i actually feel sad that i'm not into the same things that you're currently writing for, whatever that may be, because i'd love to read more and more of your writing literally forever and be able to feel this same feeling over and over. every time i get into a new interest and eventually start reading fanfiction, i always think i've found That One Fic Writer that's made me feel a way i'll never feel again, and i think you've seriously topped them all with build upon the ruins. to the point where i searched up your name on twitter in an attempt to see if anyone else had felt this same pain over the same fic, only to accidentally stumble upon your actual twitter - i don't know why i thought you wouldn't have one, probably because you didn't have an ao3 (if you had your twitter or tumblr linked anywhere on your fic website i didn't see it LOL) [note from after me editing this ask - you do have your socials linked i'm just a dumbass -__-]. anyway i felt the need to send this long ass ask to tell you how your writing made me feel because it was just that utterly brilliant and i seriously feel like a different person than who i was before i read your fics 😭 probably a slight exaggeration but like i said it's four am and i am incredibly emotional over that fic right now. i don't know what else to say other than something cringe like "thank you for putting your writing out there for me to stumble upon years or months or whatever after you wrote it" or something like that LMAO... sorry for all this at once but i wanted to get all my thoughts out there before i went to bed and lost the feeling of having just read a really damn good fic. anyway cheers i wish you luck in whatever you're up to now BYE

slight side note - did not know build upon the ruins was a pacific rim au until after i read the entire thing. i have never seen pacific rim. i deeply enjoyed the fic anyway and will definitely be watching that movie whenever i get the chance
