AITA for ghosting my ex?

I won’t give ages but we’re an age apart. We’re also still quite young so ig these kinda things happen.

I’ve deleted my discord account because I was egregiously horny and was had uncontrolled hypersexuality often leading to making cringy shit—and my ex praising my behavior often asking me to do NSFW things(won’t go into it). Most of these things I now regret, and often don’t want to associate my current self with.

My ex and their friend group are very nice people, however they were way too horny, they’d post porn non-stop in gcs, they’d make un-solicited sex jokes. I wasn’t for that at all. I wanted to leave my previous chapter behind, so I deleted my discord account and said my final goodbyes to all the people there. However, I kept in contact with my ex because, well, I felt like I needed to be there to support them.

They’ve been there for me, and i’ve been there for them a lot too. I’ve helped them get resources for transitioning, they’ve given me support through my breakdowns. We really cared for each other. That would change very quickly when, my ex, after breaking up with their previous partner, started to send me suggestive pictures. I had NO intentions getting back with them.

I didn’t know what to say of this, I would avoid the topic. I thought “Okay whatever.” But it didn’t stop. A part of me said “you don’t have to confront them about this if it’s tough, just walk out quietly.” But another part tells me I should’ve voiced my concerns.

I don’t have the same amount of sexual desire/interest as them anymore, and I don’t know how to voice that when it’s something that means a lot to them. I usually just back out of these situations and call it a day. But this is a good friend, and an ex.

Overall, people need to calm the f down, I saw some fans calling him "a coward" and shit like that, his last ig post had the comments turned off, and not only that, people are spamming the comments he leaves on his friends'/relatives' social media, don't people realize how sick that is?

I’m dating this wonderful guy from Detroit, I’ll spare you the lovey dovey details, but I do want him in my life until the end. The problem is that yesterday, he didn’t text me or call at all. I’ll admit, it put me in a sour mood, so I made a note on my instagram saying that I didn’t really feel like talking to anyone today because of my mood. He responded and apologized for his lack of contact (ig I wasn’t as generic in my note as I thoughtI was 😅). He said he was going through hell and that he didn’t want it to bounce back on me. Now, I’m all up for taking a break mentally, however, I feel like he should have at least told me that he was going to be MIA for a while if that’s the case. Abruptly just disappearing causes more damage than anything in my opinion, but maybe I’m only so upset because I’m kinda in my feelings about this? What do you think? I was thinking about giving him until the end and of this week to reach back out to him, but I’m not sure if that’s too long or not. I just really hope he’s okay… I wish I told him I loved him before all this went down.

So I understand that he was going through something, and he didn’t go into detail the extent. It’s normal to feel a way when you haven’t been in contact all day. And for him to send you a message instantly shows that he knew you were in contact. So my thing is maybe he should have sent you a text saying that he wasn’t feeling great and he needed some time to himself? But now that he’s deleted his social media and presumably blocked you or something it’s like he’s purposely shutting you out in my opinion.

I’d give it till the end of the week, and then if he doesn’t respond or make an initiative to reach out, I would part ways. I know that sounds hard because of how much you like him, but you gotta do what’s best for you. Can’t wait around for someone to finally be the way you want them to be.

Densimber. Day 17 Prompt: Write a missing Kensi, Deeks, or Densi scene.

The case was solved, the day was over. It’s been a long and stressful week so the team began gathering up all their belongings to go home for the weekend. They were skipping their usual Friday’ night beer this time, still they stayed inside the mission for about an hour talking about their plans and of course, they took that moment to deepen into Kensi’s misfortune with gardening.

As usual, Deeks began naming all the plants that she killed since they first met, coming up with ridiculous stories about their death cause. Kensi tried to defend herself but Callen and Sam joined the party on Deeks’ side, so her fight was completely lost.

“Okay, I’m leaving. Please be careful and do a favor to human kind, do not get close to any living creature, plant or animal.” Callen was the first to leave, followed by his partner who also gave her a charismatic good-bye. They both hugged her as usual and she took advantage and pinched them.

“You also have something to say before leaving? Because I’m won’t be be so kind to you.” Her look was dangerous but mischievous, she was really having fun.

“Well, I think all the evidence is enough to close the Serial Plant Killer case…” He began picking up his bag, but sat in the chair looking for something in his drawer. “But as I am a charming and benevolent person, I’ll give you a chance to correct your sad history.”

“I think we need to reevaluate that charming part you’re talking about because…” She stopped talking as Deeks pulled out a box. Her curious self took her next to his partner, to investigate the box as if trying to find out what it content was.

“What’s this?”

“It’s a gift.”

“I can see that. Who’s that for?”

“For you.” His smile was different. She knew it was for her, but she wanted to hear him saying that. “You can open it here, or at home. Either way, I have to be there.”

“And why is that?” The way she continued to challenge him was encouraging Deeks to make it more difficult for her.

“Because those are the rules. You take it or leave it.”

Kensi looked serious for a brief moment, as if pondering her choices. She obviously accepted his request and chose open it at home. Deeks was tempting his fate, and physical integrity, and he also made her stop to buy dinner.

“Will I ever get home today? Can you stop coming up with ridiculous conditions?” Deeks was really enjoying having his partner on her nerves.

“Be patient Kensalina. You’ll thank me later for spending so much quality time with me.”

“You’re delusional.”

After arriving home and eating the Chinese take-out, Kensi was finally given her box. She began inspecting it, trying to find out shape and size of what was inside. “Will you open it as a normal person?” He earned a cold look.

As she opened the box, her stern face turned into a soft smile. Kensi let out a small laugh while pulling out a fake plant with a bow. After admiring it, she looked up to Deeks.

“You’ll never kill this one, and no one will ever notice it’s fake.” He was also smiling, trying to memorize her face. Her reaction was adorable.

“I should be offended.” Kensi tried to act tough but the softness in her body was hard to hide.

“It’s just like you. It’s forever strong and radiant and no one will ever crush it down, no matter how hard life is to this plant, it’ll survive anyway. And the bow it just like me, spectacular, shining and essential.” He continued smiling after his clever description of their partnership/whatever else they were. “I don’t want you to be sad about this, maybe gardening it’s not your thing but you’re great in many other.”

She didn’t expected that, though she knew he was not trying to mock her, Kensi was grateful for his words. Maybe it was the beer, the tiredness or his gesture what made her to stop her “thank-you” mid-sentence and approach him, still with the plant in her hand.

“Come here.”

“Oh you wanna a hug?” Deeks’s face of disbelief made him look so naïve, she quickly realized that he was completely taken aback.

They hugged then, taking time to relax on each other. “I really appreciate you trying to make me feel better. And I really appreciate having you as my partner.” Kensi’s face was still in his neck. He felt a tickle that made him feel so much more.

“Just as your partner? Because this bad boy could…” They both began laughing at his innuendo as Kensi tried to shut him up with failed threats.

Then, in April of this year, she appeared on the Bathroom Chronicles podcast (Apple linked, see Spotify for video), and had the audacity to claim that she hadn’t told most of her close friends that she had gotten breast implants in 2021, but they were now removed. (Lol imagine having to pretend you didn’t notice them) The decision to remove them came after experiencing symptoms of fatigue when running, joint pain, inflammation, and brain fog.

If you can’t stomach the whole podcast, we know from this IG post summary that part of the decision reportedly came from turning 40 and wanting to feel sexy. Which…okay, fine. It starts to unravel when she also claims that her implants were the same size as her breasts before breastfeeding. That seems like quite a stretch of truth when you consider 👇🏼

But I don’t think she had them removed. I suspect she just had them reduced so she could run to her satisfaction again (back up to 6 miles and counting after only a sad 2-3 miles that caused concern), quiet her other heath anxieties discussed in more detail in the pod, and soothe her own regrets. Because if you compare how she looked in May 2021 prior to surgery (from a since deleted IG post) to how she looked at the KTLA appearance just days after this podcast was released…

We still have significantly more titty meat than we started with, while also not being able to attribute that to weight gain anywhere else.

So yes, while I won’t throw her under the bus for having issues with her body image, I will get angry at how much she lies in order to look like a health-conscious martyr. She is not just kindly warning others about the risks of breast implants here. Pushing the wellness narrative has potential to push more endorsements her way, so don’t mistake this for altruism.

I will get even more angry at someone with a platform who won’t just come forward and be honest about their procedures while also perpetuating unattainable standards of beauty for everyone else. Gen won’t admit to the parts of all of this that make her the most human. Meanwhile the podcast hosts practically canonized her a saint, thanked her for her “vulnerability,” and called her “so brave” for telling her story.

Brave of her to assume that no one is paying attention with a critical eye. Deception is not the kind of vulnerability you think it is, Gen. And these lies won’t make you feel any less anxious. Your therapist should have told you that by now.

*Bonus Lie* In the podcast, released on April 6th, G says that her “brain fog” disappeared immediately after explant surgery. However, in an IG story on April 5th, she had this to say:

Wednesday Related Rambles at 1am/2am with spoilers!

I’m going to die on the hill that Larissa wanted Gomez, sure, but she also wanted Morticia and was just heavily in denial about it. I won’t be convinced that she wasn’t attracted to both of them and only pursued Gomez due to societal pressures and expectations of the time. To be an outcast to outcasts would suck ass.

And then also I don’t think she’s dramatic for not being over either of them as an adult. Wednesday’s being at Nevermore likely dug up feelings she never fully got to process, as she seems like the type to throw herself into her work/ professional career rather than process her emotions, so she’s forced to acknowledge them now. She doesn’t hate Morticia or Gomez, but is upset that the future she wanted with them, or either of them depending on how you view things, didn’t happen. It’s all a kind of “Well I guess I wasn’t coping with that as well as I thought I was” situation with her in my opinion.

And I think the love triangle is simultaneously good writing and the worst part of the entire fucking show, although I must state I have only watched the show once so far.

It forces Wednesday to acknowledge romantic feelings are a thing within her reality, her personal reality not just that of the world. She understands the sting of betrayal later before she’s totally and 100% ctrl-alt-deleted from the world.

It also allows Wednesday to get close to both Tyler and Xavier.

However where it bothers me is both boys reactions to Wednesday not actually liking them back are along the lines of them being angry. Wednesday didn’t even show any interest in them from what I can tell.

But at the same time it makes sense because of some nice guy logic. It also makes Tyler get over his feelings for Wednesday, which imo were at least partially real, so especially after the torture he feels perfectly fine with doing what he did in ep8.

For Xavier it allows Wednesday to get close enough to get him arrested….although just friendship would’ve worked here too.

I hc Wednesday as ace but demiromantic, maybe demisexual, however aroace Wednesday has a special place within my heart. I’m just, demi, so, yeah.

Hey I just wanted to ask, what is going on with taz Skylar in regards to Palestine? I can't find what you're talking about and wanted to know. I don't have Twitter so maybe it was there? I don't follow him on ig but I have checked his profile a few times and thought it was weird that he hadn't made any statements (as well as the other cast members I saw) and kept posting regularly like normal. I feel like them staying silent is weird considering the themes in the show they act in and praise so much. And him in particular cause I believe he's from Arab descent, Lebanese specifically if what I saw was correct, which would make him standing with the occupiers or even neutral that much worse imo

I woke up yesterday and went on twitter. I see artists on my tl complaining about Taz, saying how they definitely won’t be supporting/ will be dropping the show. So I’m curious. From what I gather, he promoted a fundraiser marathon he did, for the British Red Cross. While the BRC stands as a neutral organization, they still fund Israel. If the fundraiser/organization had gone to the Palestinian people in Gaza, no one would’ve really had a problem. Most people would’ve liked it, since that would make him the first main cast member to speak up in support of Palestine, (I mean main as the main group, Morgan who plays Koby has shown support). Majority are displaced/homeless, are being starved, more than 20,000+ of them of died and are continuously still being bombed.

People in his comments did say “hey, taz, i know you have good intentions but this organization also supports israel” “can you post something for Palestine too?” He deleted the post. Sometime after that he tweeted out:

“Our opinions can be different. And that's okay. Just because my opinion is different to yours, doesn't mean either of us are wrong. It just means we see things differently. If you go to war with everyone who differs in opinion, we'd all be at war with everyone all the time.”

Vague tweet on the surface, but the timing and climate that we are in, this tweet can only be referencing what we believe it is in reference to.

At this time he has not said anything. I don’t know if he will say anything in response. I’m sure many people hope for and would appreciate an explanation or an apology or just anything, because this fucking hurts okay? If there’s any Palestinian fans of his or of OPLA, or just the general fans like me, of course they would hurt/disappointed/angered by this. We have every right to. Especially since we all think he and the cast are decent people, you never want to assume people who are tied to your favorite piece of media are bad people, you know? Edit: And I wish he hadn’t reacted the way he did. He could’ve said anything afterwards to clear things up, or at least answered the more calmer people in his comments, rather than deleting and privating. If he genuinely comes to understand and talks, I’ll probably calm down since this situation has been quite rage inducing. But as of right now, I don’t want to look at him…

It is ironic that the cast of One Piece has remained silent throughout, except for Morgan. I know Iñaki posted a little insta story about how there’s a lot of hurt in the world right now. I saw a screenshot of Jacob’s story, telling people to look out for their Palestinian and Jewish friends during this time. That’s about it. Whether it’s an issue of not feeling educated enough or being fearful of the consequences about speaking out (i.e. Barrea being fired from scream, Jenna quitting in solidarity etc.) (I’m iffy on Mackenyu though? I don’t know if he’s allowed to say anything either way, doesn’t he belong to an actor company in Japan? Maybe advise against?) I don’t know. You don’t have to be out here speaking like your in a VICE video, even just a retweeting, liking, sharing news, or just acknowledgement would be a nice sentiment.

At the end of the day, these people are just actors. But in today’s stan culture, when something like this happens, some people will not let go of that image of the celebrity that they have in there head so they end up defending or sticking by their side through the worst of the worst of allegations. I’m sorry if I came off as harsh in that last vent, but in this scenario you have to. You have to be hit in the face with it in that hope that you’ll realize what the fuck is going on.

Hey :) hope you’re all okay. Just coming to say that I’ll be going on a little hiatus to focus on my mental health.
