Nintendo Switch: DDV Update 2!
These update posts tend to do well, and who would I be, if I did not take free content from the developer and shared it to even more people? Let’s jump in.
Tumblr media
February:
This is a character from Encanto, which I did not see, but it was popular enough that I know enough about it to not have needed to watch it. A special snowman seems like Olaf from Frozen. The Frosted Heights Biome seems like its going to get expanded and explained, which will be fun-it is one of the smaller biomes. Disney celebrates 100 years this year, good for them! This is the theme of the star path.
April:
A new realm coming, save up your in game credits! I wonder where it will be? I wouldn’t mind it being mines or underground, and bring in Snow White! But we have Simba from The Lion King pictured. I would imagine Simba stays in the Sunlight Plateau, with his uncle Scar. Who doesn’t love a little bit of family drama?
Early Summer:
Here we have a display of the pumpkin, seen in the Forgotten lands. There has been much debate about who this could be for. I have seen a good argument made for Jack Skellington, Cinderella (most likely more so Fairy God Mother-as I have seen her actress on a voice list for the game), but the give away is the shadow like figure that has been once before. The Forgetting’s answer may be closer. “A princess comes racing in” sounds like Vanellope von Schweetz from Wreck It Ralph, and that should be as fun as Stitch coming in!
2023:
There are a couple of things here:
Multiplayer: this truly excites me. Local co-op? I go to my sisters island? can we share an island like Stardew? Inquiring minds want to know! Also, everything new is cross platform, can PC players play with console players?
Characters: I am hoping for Belle, and more importantly Beast. But there could be more from realms we have already started!
Realms: Let’s open more of these doors! So many doors in that damn castle.
Clothing, Motifs, Decorations, and Furniture is exciting but it will be more so when its safer to decorate as there are limits to what you can do and I have seen issues from the game crashing from too much going on. Personally speaking.
Something I am looking forward to, is them finishing the process of bringing all the characters they have in the main image into the game. The only one left is Belle, and she needs to be brought in with her partner! Call me crazy, but I would spend way too much time hanging out with Beast (LOL). The timing could also have not been more perfect, as a kick in the boot to finish Woody, Buzz, and Stitch so that we are all set for some newbies. The village is getting crowded!

______________________________________________________________
A soft glow from the outdoor light made its way through the window of their daughter's princess-themed bedroom, casting long shadows across the toy cars strategically placed amongst the stuffed animals and fluffy pillows.
The Three-year-old, a restless ball of energy during the day, was now a picture of contentment snuggled under her favorite flower blanket.
Lewis starting the bedtime ritual as his voice dropped to a soothing murmur.
"Once upon a time, in a land far, far away…"
Y/d/n's eyes, a perfect copy to Lewis’s except for the glint of mischief, widened with anticipation. She loved their bedtime stories, especially the ones Lewis told with his best voices and interpretations.
Tonight, however, something was different. The story wasn't about a dragon, the fairies or the warriors she had grew accustomed to. It was about a princess who longed for someone to share her adventures.
"But why, daddy?" she piped up, interrupting the narrative. "Why did the princess want someone else?"
Lewis smiled, his heart overflowing with the love for his daughter and the excitement for the news he was about to share. "She wanted someone to play with, someone to tell stories to, to share secrets and adventures with."
Her small brow furrowed in concentration. "Like Olaf to Anna?"
"More like Elsa to Anna, sweetheart," Y/n chimed in, her voice laced with a hint of nervousness. "Someone who'll always be there for you, no matter what."
Y/d/n's eyes sparkled with confusion. "A sibling?"
“Like a little brother or sister" Lewis confirmed, his voice carrying a hint of amusement.
"A brother or sister? Like uncle Nic and you, or Kaiden and Willow?" Her little brain working overtime to grasp the idea of a permanent playmate, someone who would be with her all the time.
Lewis chuckled, stroking her cheeks gently. "Yes, darling, just like us. Someone to build pillow forts with, someone to have silly dance parties with in your pajamas, someone to plot with."
"Can I have a little brother or sister for Christmas, then?" She squealed with delight, the possibility sinking in as she emphasized the I.
Y/n's breath hitched. This wasn't quite how she envisioned revealing the news, but her daughter’s enthusiasm was contagious. She exchanged a nervous glance with Lewis, who gave her a reassuring nod.
Taking a deep breath, Y/n reached out and placed a gentle hand on her stomach, a slight curve that had only recently become noticeable. "Sweetheart," she began, her voice soft yet firm, "You're going to get your very own sibling already, but a bit earlier than Christmas."
Y/d/n’s eyes widened even further. She stared at Y/n's stomach, then back at her face, trying to process the information. "Like, next week?"
Lewis joined the conversation, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "No, not quite that soon, sweetheart. But in about five or six months, you'll have a little brother or sister to play with."
The three-year-old’s expression turned thoughtful. The idea of a sibling, someone who would be a constant companion, was exciting yes, but also a little bit scary. "Will it be a tiny baby like the ones in the picture books?" she inquired when she finally spoke, her voice barely above a whisper.
"Yes, at first" Y/n explained, pulling out a book they had recently bought about pregnancy. "But then, the baby will grow bigger and bigger until it's finally ready to come out, just like you did."
She studied the book, her brow furrowed in concentration, pointing to a picture of a baby with tiny fingers and toes. "Will it be tiny like this?"
Y/n nodded, her heart swelling with love. "Even tinier, maybe the size of your daddy's hand."
Lewis held out his hand, his fingers spread wide. Y/d/n’s eyes opening up wide as she compared the size of her own hand to her father's. "That small? How will I play with it?"
Lewis wrapped his arm around her, pulling her close. "It may be small at first, but babies grow quick. Soon, it will be big enough to hold toys and maybe even crawl around while you run with them."
The conversation continued for a while longer, filled with her endless questions about the baby's size, what it would look like, and what games they could play together.
With each answer, Lewis and Y/n watched their daughter’s apprehension gradually melt away, replaced by a something akin to excitement. The fear of the unknown faded as they painted a picture of a tiny companion who would grow into a lifelong friend.
"So, the baby is like a little friend who lives inside you, Mommy, until it's big enough to come out?" she summarized, her eyes wide with wonder.
Y/n beamed. "Exactly, sweetheart. How do you feel about being a big sister?"
She puffed out her little chest, a sense of pride evident in her eyes. " I'll teach them how to race cars like Daddy and how to sing all the princess songs with me."
Lewis chuckled, picturing his little girl teaching a newborn the finer points of car racing. "Sounds like a plan. But first, we’d like for you to pick out a special stuffed animal for your new sibling, their very first. How about that?"
Y/d/n's face lit up. The prospect of picking a gift overshadowed any remaining worries. She scrambled off the bed, her bare feet padding softly across the floor as she raced to the overflowing toy chest in the corner of the room.
The house settled into a comfortable silence as Lewis and Y/n watched their daughter disappear into the world of fluffy friends. A warmth bloomed in their hearts as they envisioned their family growing, the laughter of two children echoing through their home.
"She's going to be a fantastic big sister" Lewis said, his voice filled with pride. “I know I was a bit hesitant, but you were right love, this is right timing for us.”
Y/n leaned against him, her head resting on his shoulder. "I hope so" she whispered, a hint of nervousness creeping back into her voice. Lewis squeezed her hand reassuringly. "We'll figure it out, love. Together. We always do."
He looked at the picture of Y/d/n picking out one of her own teddies, his heart brimming with love. The challenges ahead seemed insignificant compared to the joy of watching their family grow. This wasn't just about having another child.
As the little girl reappeared, clutching a stuffed Sally she had been gifted by a fan she climbed back onto her bed to give her dad the car “I guess they can have Sally, so my Guido has someone to play with too”
The gentle whoosh of the ar conditioning created a low drone as Y/n tiptoed into the bedroom. The soft glow of the bedside lamp cast long shadows across the room, illuminating the scene before her like a snapshot.
Lewis, his back to the door, sat cross-legged on the bed, a picture of focused concentration. In his lap, nestled between his arms, was their daughter, her dark hair cascading over his forearm like a waterfall. His voice, a soothing murmur, weaved a tale of a brave princess and a fire-breathing dragon.
Y/n's heart ached with an unfamiliar pang. It wasn't the story, nor the picture of domestic bliss before her. It was the future it represented, an addition to a future she desperately craved and Lewis seemed hesitant about.
As Lewis kept reading the story, the little girl giggled, her tiny hand clutching the collar of his t-shirt. Y/n watched, a bittersweet smile tugging at her lips. The girl's boundless energy, her infectious laughter – they were the very things that made Y/n's desire for another child stronger.
The idea of filling their home with that same joyous spirit, of witnessing the bond blossom between siblings, had been a constant thought for a while.
But Lewis. Lewis, her rock, her partner in this whirlwind they called life, seemed to hesitate whenever the topic of expanding their family came up. They'd discussed it, of course, late-night whispers, celebrations and arguments had occurred. But every excited statement from Y/n was met with a string of concerns from Lewis.
They had always been a good team and when Y/d/n was born she had fitted right in. They had navigated the demanding world of Formula One with practiced ease, and Y/n's career was on an upswing, her meticulous planning and organization allowing them to be present for Lewis's races with the help of their families.
But another child would throw that intricate balance into chaos. They wouldn't be able to travel as much, the demands of a newborn and a toddler would stretch them to their limits.
Y/n understood and even shared some his apprehension, yet her heart rebelled.
A lump formed in her throat as the story ended, punctuated by her daughter's sleepy sigh. Lewis leaned down, planting a kiss on her forehead. "Night, night, princess," he whispered, his voice thick with love.
Y/n waited for him to rise before clearing her throat. Lewis looked up, his smile fading slightly at the sight of her downcast expression. "Hey. She fell asleep mid story, as usual" he said, a hint of amusement in his voice.
Lewis lowered Y/d/n into the bed, tucking the covers around her. He rose and met Y/n's gaze; his brow furrowed. The tension in the room was thick, a silent conversation brimming beneath the surface.
"Sounds just like her " she mumbled, forcing a smile. She walked away from the bedroom, stopping at the sofa on the tiny living room of their hotel room, Lewis followed stopping at a safe distance.
"It just hit me," Y/n began, her voice barely above a whisper. "Seeing her like that, with you…"
She trailed off, unable to voice the words churning within her. Lewis sighed, running a hand in his arms. "We talked about this, love. It's a big decision."
"I know," she whispered, her eyes gazing his. "But the way she is, wouldn't it be amazing to…"
Her voice broke, the unspoken words hanging heavy in the air. Lewis approached her, his hand reaching out to brush her cheek. The warmth of his touch soothing her mind even in the midst of her turmoil, a reminder of the love they shared.
"I see it, Y/n," he said, his voice low and full of empathy. "Every day. But we can’t look at it through rose-colored glasses. The sleepless nights, the constant demands, the impact on our careers, on Y/d/n…"
His words were a bucket of cold water on her simmering dreams. "Don’t you think it’d be worth it, Lewis? In the end?"
He looked at her, his eyes reflecting the same desired she felt, only with the concerns he couldn’t quite brush off. "I don't know, babe. Honestly, I don't know."
Their living room was electric with energy. Laughter and excited chatter filled the air as Lewis's family gathered for their usuals get-togethers. Y/d/n, the center of attention, clutched a small, brightly wrapped box in her hand, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
Y/n watched from the sidelines, a nervous flutter in her stomach. Today was the day they planned to share the news of their new addition.
The past months had been a whirlwind of emotions, filled with late-night talks and cautious optimism. They had finally reached a decision, a fragile agreement that felt more like a question mark than a period. And the two lines on that test had cemented the changes, whether they were ready for it or not.
The three-year-old, oblivious to the undercurrent of tension, skipped towards her grandmother. "Grandma, I have a present for you!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with childish glee.
Carmen, Lewis's mom, beamed, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "What's this, my sweet girl?" she asked, taking the box gently.
Inside the box lay a fluffy teddy bear sporting a tiny t-shirt with the words "I'm gonna be a big sister" on the front. Carmen gasped, her hand flying to her mouth as she looked up at her granddaughter, astonishment etched on her face.
"Mom and Dad are giving me my very own sibling, Grandma!" she chimed in, her excitement palpable.
The room fell silent, all eyes turning towards Y/n and Lewis. A nervous smile stretched across Y/n's face as Lewis cleared his throat.
"Surprise?" Lewis confirmed, his voice holding a hint of trepidation. "We’re pregnant."
Everyone's surprise quickly melted into a warm smile. Tears welled up in his mother eyes as she embraced Y/n tightly. "Oh, this is wonderful news!" she exclaimed, her voice thick with emotion. "I'm so happy for you three."
Relief washed over Y/n. The acceptance in Carmen's eyes, the joy radiating from her voice, eased some of the anxiety that had been nagging her. The room erupted in congratulations as other family members chimed in, offering their best wishes.
Lewis and Y/n found themselves enveloped in a sea of good cheer. Hugs were exchanged, stories were reminisced, and plans for the future were excitedly discussed. Y/d/n, the star of the show, basked in the attention, proudly showing off her new "big sister" teddy bear.
As the afternoon wore on, however, a quiet moment emerged between Y/n and Lewis. They stood tucked away in a corner of the room, their hands intertwined.
"You seem nervous" Lewis said softly, brushing a stray strand of hair from her face.
Y/n bit her lip, torn between her elation and the lingering doubts. "I am" she admitted, her voice barely a whisper. "What if it's too much? What if we can't handle it?"
Lewis placed his other hand on her cheek, his thumb gently wiping away a stray tear that traced its way down her face. "We will" he said with quiet conviction. "We'll figure it out, together. Like we always do."
He looked at her, his eyes reflecting her own apprehension, but also excitement. "We may not have all the answers, but I’ll tell you one thing - we're a team."

summary walking around charleston with family enjoying the sunny day.
warnings just a whole lotta cuteness for y'all
Tumblr media
It was a pleasant day in Charleston. The sun was out, and the breeze felt amazing on your skin. A perfect day to wear a dress or tank top with shorts. Summer is right around the corner and weather is getting warmer.
Tatum and you are dressed in matching blue jean overalls. She has her hair in two pigtails with her hair curled. Drew and Leo were wearing matching white shirts. Leo is three months old and wearing his white onesie.
Drew’s mom, Jodi, younger sister Mackayla and her eight month old daughter, Liliana, came down to visit for a few days. It’s been amazing having them with you guys.
The plan for the day is to eat lunch, wander around town, buy a few things, visit the flea market, and have dessert before heading home.
You were in downtown Charleston having lunch together. The check was taken by the waitress two minutes ago. In the meantime, conversations were made. Tatum was playing peek-a-boo with Liliana, sitting on Mackayla's lap. Leo was nestled in Jodi's arms.
Sitting underneath the shade felt great, the breeze hitting your skin just right.
“Leo is starting look so much like Drew” Jodi softly speaks, "He also has your eyes, Y/N." Just the ideal mix between you both."
You and Drew take a quick glance at each other smiling. He places his hand on your thigh, giving it a soft pat.
You've taken Leo out in public a few times in the three months since his birth. If you're going out alone with Tatum and Leo, make sure to cover Leo with a thin blanket in case someone takes a picture.
After lunch, you guys decided to walk around and look through shops around town. There were plenty of things open and a flea market down the road too.
"Daddy, I want to go into this store," Tatum says, pointing to the store across the street that has a number of toys on display.
Drew looks around as he kneels down to face Tatum's vision: "Over there? "Of course, princess," Tatum exclaims, taking his hand.
"Drew becoming a father happened at the right time in his life," Mackayla exclaimed, grasping Liliana's tiny hands and enjoying her older brother's interaction with her niece.
"Completely agree and he's so good with his little babies" Jodi smiled with her hand over her heart.
Tatum gazed around the store, hoping she'd want something to take home. She looked about and didn't see anything that drew her interest.
"What is it you want princess?" Drew asked following behind Tatum.
"I want Olaf" throwing her hands in the air with frustration. Drew quickly stopped her before she got overwhelmed.
Kneeling on one knee, both arms wrapped around her arms, "Please listen to me carefully. Take deep breaths for Daddy and convince yourself you are calm and comfortable," demonstrating how Tatum can calm herself down.
Tatum has recently expressed interest in an Olaf toy or anything Olaf-related. She just adores Olaf. You and Drew have taught her to take deep breaths and talk herself down when she is feeling overwhelmed since she started to express emotions.
Drew is so good with Tatum. Always has been since she was born.
The rest of you went around the store finding Olaf. You found a stuffed Olaf in the corner of the Disney section. Tatum jumped with joy when she held him in her arms.
Leo's small feet began kicking against the thin covering blanket, signaling that he wanted it down. Jodi takes notice and pulls the blanket down to Leo, who smiles as his grandmother peeks through.
Liliana looked over in Leo's direction, and the two cousins made eye contact before smiling. Fortunately, you were capturing the brief moment between the two.
They've noticed each other a few times now and seeing them interact with each other warms everyone's heart. Wish they didn't have to grow up so fast.
"Can you say to your cousin Liliana?" Mackayla cooed as she pointed to Leo, who was kicking his feet and wiggling his arms with delight.
Having two babies now is definitely a blessing. The babies are the center of attention on every family outing. It's also fantastic that they are so close in age because it allows them to grow up together.
Leo had his back against Drew's, his pacifier in his mouth, and was toying with Drew's gold ring on his finger. You took out your phone from your pocket and took a couple photos to share later on your story.
"You like playing with my ring huh?" Drew chuckled gleefully, hopping up and down, making Leo laugh with his movements.
Tatum walked over to see what the chatter was all about. She skipped over, pausing in front of Drew. She raises her hand to Leo, "I want to see brother, Daddy," with begging eyes.
"Hi baby Leo" Tatum squints her noise, dragging the o.
Leo smiles at his big sister through his pacifier, which slides out of his mouth and lands on Tatum's palm. She hands it to you before focusing on her brother.
Their bond grows stronger every day. Tatum wants to be close Leo all the time. She treats him with so much affection. She's been a wonderful big sister.
"Tatum can you stand infront of the flowers with mommy for me?" You asked her, indicating where you wanted her to stand. Before she got distracted by Leo, she wanted to look at the flowers.
Tatum posed for the camera. Drew's mother also came over to take a few pictures with her. Everyone ended up getting pictures with Tatum.
"How about we sit outside while we eat our ice cream?" Jodi suggested to Tatum, pointing to the outdoor tables in the shade.
"Yes!"
You guys finished going to the flee market. You spent the day walking around Charleston going into shops, grabbing fruit, etc. It was getting closer to the end of the day and time to head back home. To end the day off, ice cream.
A few hours ago, you ran into a couple fans who had the cutest puppy. Drew took a few photos with the dog and fans.
Tatum sits on Jodi's lap while they share their ice cream. Mackayla ordered mint chocolate chip, while Drew and you shared a banana split.
Music was playing through the speakers from the post lights. Sun was starting to set, the sky looked beautiful with a hint of pink and orange. Tatum started humming to the music, dancing on her grandmas lap.
You turn your head to the side, a group of girls are walking over talking, they look like fans of Drew's. One of them takes a double take before realizing Drew is a few feet from them.
Drew had Leo on his lap and stuck his finger in the vanilla ice cream, allowing Leo to taste it. Leo bites the ice cream and makes a face that makes Drew giggle.
"Hi, sorry to bother you guys, we were wondering if you would like to take a couple pictures?" The young girl questioned with hesitancy in her voice, as if she didn't want to interrupt.
"You aren't bothering us," Drew assures the group of girls, "we can definitely take pictures," as he places Leo in your hands. You give him a delicate kiss on the forehead before placing him on your lap.
After taking the pictures, the girls say hello to the rest of you sitting down. Tatum scoots off her grandmas lap, walking over to the group of girls, "My name is Tatum and this is my baby brother, Leo"
The girls let out an awe.
He's so adorable
He has so much hair
The cutest baby ever
All the compliments given to Leo made him smile when he saw how the girls reacted seeing him.
The girls eventually said their goodbyes and went on with their day. They were exceedingly respectful and made no one feel uncomfortable. interacted with everyone.
"You are so good with your fans, I love it baby" you tell Drew, wrapping your arm around him, kissing his cheek.
"I love you" he responds.
"I love you more," you remark, nudging his side.
When you guys arrived home, Tatum, Leo, and Liliana were knocked out in their carseats. Making sure to not wake them up was a must because they immediately knocked out when they mad it to their carseats.
Tatum groaned slightly as Drew carefully unbuckled her from her carseat; she had been pulled out by arms. "It's okay, princess, daddy's got you," Drew whispers to her as he hugs her, arms around his neck and legs wrapped around his waist. He kisses the side of her head before closing the car door.
Today was spent with family and enjoying each other's company. The times you get to spend together, you cherish every moment. Going around Charleston was definitely a good idea.
You and Mackayla set up the fire pit on the terrace while Drew and his mother bathed the kids inside.
After the kids had freshened up, you all returned to the cushion seats. Leo fell asleep on Drew's chest, Tatum dozed off on your lap with her blanket wrapped around her, and Liliana slept soundly in Jodi's arms.
You adults had conversations with multiple topics coming up. Drew spoke about filming season four and going to Maraco with the cast.
Today was a great day.

Maturity Test Part 2
Chapter 1
Anna had been away for three years, throwing herself into work and life, the memories of her last visit to the regression school nursery and her friends there fading into the background. But now, it was time for her reclassification, and she found herself once again driving the familiar road back to the place where her friends had been left behind. She wondered how much had changed. How much had Rebecca and Olaf changed? How much had she changed?
Arriving at Olaf's place first, Anna hesitated before knocking on the door. She had kept in touch with Olaf and his girlfriend, Lilly, over the years, but hearing stories and actually seeing the changes were two very different things. Taking a deep breath, she knocked, the sound echoing loudly in her ears.
A moment later, the door opened, and there stood Lilly, a bright smile on her face. "Anna! It's so good to see you!" she greeted warmly, pulling Anna into a quick hug before stepping aside to let her in. "Olaf’s been looking forward to your visit."
Anna stepped inside, her eyes immediately drawn to the subtle yet significant changes in the apartment. The living room had transformed into what could only be described as a preschooler’s haven. Bright colors adorned the walls, and scattered toys filled the floor. A large playmat with a road map pattern lay in the center of the room, and in one corner stood a small table with coloring books and crayons.
But what really caught Anna's attention was the large potty chart on the wall, covered in stickers—mostly clouds with only a few suns scattered here and there. It was clear that Olaf’s potty training had regressed significantly. The sparse suns stood out like sad little beacons amidst a sea of rain clouds.
Lilly noticed where Anna’s gaze had fallen and chuckled softly. “He’s had a bit of a rough time with his potty training lately,” she explained, her tone both affectionate and slightly teasing. “But he’s doing his best, aren’t you, sweetheart?”
Anna turned to see Olaf emerging from the hallway. The sight of him was both shocking and heartbreaking. He was wearing a pair of blue pull-ups, the childish design visible beneath his t-shirt. His once-confident demeanor was now replaced with a more subdued, almost shy, expression as he shuffled over to greet Anna.
“Hi, Anna,” Olaf said softly, a pacifier hanging from a clip on his shirt. He didn’t seem to notice it as he absentmindedly popped it into his mouth after saying hello, sucking on it softly as he stood there, fidgeting slightly.
“Hi, Olaf,” Anna replied, trying to keep her voice light and not show how surprised she was at how much he had changed. She could see the subtle influence Lilly had over him—his behavior, his clothes, even his posture all screamed little boy. “It’s good to see you again.”
Olaf nodded, his cheeks flushing a little as he tugged on his t-shirt, which didn’t cover his pull-ups. “Yeah, it’s good to see you too. We’ve been having lots of fun, haven’t we, Mommy?” he added, looking up at Lilly with a small smile.
Lilly beamed, reaching down to ruffle his hair affectionately. “We sure have, sweetie” “I’ll go get us something to drink,” Lilly announced suddenly, giving Olaf a quick peck on the cheek before disappearing into the kitchen.
The moment she was out of earshot, Olaf’s demeanor changed. His shoulders slumped, and he let out a heavy sigh, pulling the pacifier from his mouth and dropping it onto the table with a soft clatter. He looked up at Anna with a mixture of shame and desperation in his eyes.
“Anna,” he began quietly, glancing over his shoulder to make sure Lilly wasn’t coming back yet. “I need to talk to you. I—Lilly—she signed me up for Unpotty Training III,” he whispered, his voice barely above a murmur.
Anna blinked in surprise. “Unpotty Training III? What’s that?” she asked, leaning in closer.
Olaf sighed, rubbing his face with his hands. “It’s not like the first two levels. Unpotty Training I and II were about getting you to have accidents, you know, just losing control sometimes. But this… this is different. It’s not about accidents anymore. It’s about not using the potty at all. They teach you how to… just let go whenever, wherever. No more control.”
Anna’s eyes widened as she processed his words. “And you’re the only one in the class who’s not… fully regressed?”
Olaf nodded, looking down at his pull-ups. “Yeah. It’s so embarrassing, Anna. All the other guys are in diapers, and here I am, still in pull-ups but being told I need to stop using the potty entirely. Lilly says it’s for my own good, that it’s part of accepting who I’m supposed to be, but… I don’t know. I want to grow back up, at least a little.”
“And that’s not all,” Olaf interrupted, his voice tense with frustration. “She signed me up for pacifier dependence too. I can’t go anywhere without it now. If I don’t have it... I just get so anxious, Anna. I don’t know what to do.”
Anna reached out, placing a comforting hand on his arm. “Olaf, why didn’t you tell her? Why didn’t you say anything?”
“I tried,” he muttered, his eyes darting toward the kitchen again. “But she doesn’t listen. She thinks this is what’s best for me, but... I don’t want this. I want to grow back up, Anna. I don’t want to be stuck like this forever.”
Before he could finish, Lilly’s cheerful voice cut through the air as she returned, carrying a tray with two steaming cups of coffee and a sippy cup filled with juice. Olaf quickly popped the pacifier back into his mouth, his frustration hidden behind the plastic shield.
“Here we go!” Lilly said brightly, setting the tray down on the coffee table. “Two coffees for the grown-ups and a nice sippy cup of juice for my little man.”
Olaf forced a smile, taking the sippy cup in his hands. “Thanks, Mommy,” he mumbled, his previous frustration buried under a veneer of obedience.
Lilly beamed, clearly pleased with his response. “Oh, and Olaf, I don’t think we need to worry about you drinking from a cup anymore. Those days are long gone, aren’t they?”
Anna watched as Olaf’s grip tightened on the sippy cup, his knuckles turning white. He didn’t respond, just brought the cup to his lips and began to drink, his eyes focused intently on the table.
As they sipped their drinks, a faint hissing sound reached Anna’s ears. At first, she thought it might be coming from outside, but then she realized it was much closer—too close.
Olaf was wetting himself.
She glanced at his pull-ups, noticing the way the material was gradually swelling, the childish design fading as it absorbed the wetness. Olaf’s face remained calm, his eyes focused on the sippy cup in his hands as he continued to drink, completely unaware of what was happening. He looked so small, so helpless—more like a toddler than a preschooler.
Lilly, who was casually sipping her coffee, noticed Anna’s concerned expression and followed her gaze to Olaf’s pull-ups. A knowing smile spread across her face.
Lilly glanced at the clock on the wall, her eyes widening slightly as she realized the time. "Oh, look at the time," she said, her voice tinged with both excitement and a hint of urgency. "We need to get ready for the reclassification, Olaf."
Olaf looked up from his coloring, his brow furrowing in mild confusion. "Already?" he asked, sounding a bit unsure. The thought of the reclassification had clearly been on his mind, but he hadn’t expected it to come so soon.
Lilly nodded, giving him a reassuring smile. "Yes, sweetie. We don't want to be late. Why don't you get up and stretch your legs before we head out?"
Obediently, Olaf pushed himself up from the floor, his movements a bit clumsy as he shifted his weight. Then, with a soft sigh, she stepped closer to him, her hand reaching out to gently pat the front of his pull-up.
"Uh-oh, Olaf," Lilly said, her voice laced with gentle teasing as she placed her other hand on his padded bottom. "Looks like someone’s a bit soggy. Did you forget to tell Mommy you had an accident?"
Olaf's cheeks flushed a deep red as he looked down at himself, his eyes widening in embarrassment. "N-No..." he mumbled, his voice barely above a whisper. He shifted uncomfortably, feeling the dampness of his pull-up now that it had been pointed out.
Anna couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for him as she watched the scene unfold. She could see how much it bothered him to be caught off guard like this. Lilly gently guided Olaf over to the corner of the room where his potty chart hung on the wall. “Come on, sweetie,” Lilly said softly, her tone warm but firm. “Let’s put another cloud on your chart, okay?”
Olaf’s face turned an even deeper shade of red as he nodded, clearly embarrassed by the ritual. He hesitated for a moment, but under Lilly’s gentle guidance, he picked up the blue marker and drew another cloud in the appropriate square. The marker squeaked slightly against the chart, a sound that seemed to echo in the room, making Olaf cringe a little.
“There we go,” Lilly said with a soft chuckle, ruffling Olaf’s hair affectionately. “Such a good boy.”
As Olaf stood there, looking up at the chart with a mixture of embarrassment and resignation, Lilly couldn’t resist adding a bit of teasing to the situation. “You know, Olaf,” she began, her voice playful, “if you keep this up, maybe this will be your last pull-up. If you get reclassified as a toddler today, we will switch to diapers full-time. Wouldn’t that be something?”
Olaf’s eyes widened in surprise and mild horror at the idea, but before he could protest, Anna, who had been quietly watching the interaction, decided to join in.
“Or,” Anna chimed in, trying to help Olaf smile, “maybe this will be your last pull-up because you’ll be allowed to grow up, Olaf. Maybe they’ll finally let you wear big boy underwear again.”
Olaf face showed a mix of confusion and hope, the idea of being allowed to grow up again clearly appealing to some part of him that still clung to his former sense of independence.
But before he could latch onto that hope, Lilly gently shot it down with a playful smirk. “Oh, Anna, you know Olaf’s too incontinent to ever go back to normal underwear. Even if they let him grow up, it’ll probably still be in pull-ups,” she said with a lighthearted laugh. “I mean, we wouldn’t want him having too many big boy accidents, would we?” Olaf shifted again, this time more awkwardly, caught between the two women’s contrasting views of his future.
Anna couldn’t help but smile at Lilly’s fierce defense of Olaf’s regression, though she knew better than to push the subject further. It was clear that Lilly had a vision for Olaf’s life that involved a lot more clouds on that chart, and perhaps even the inevitable transition to diapers full-time.
"Well," Anna said with a light shrug, "we’ll just have to see what the reclassification decides, won’t we?" She winked at Olaf, who gave her a small, uncertain smile in return.
Lilly gave Olaf’s hand a gentle squeeze. “Alright, let’s get you into a fresh pull-up before we head out, okay?” she said, her voice softening again. “We can’t have you going to your reclassification all soggy.”
Olaf nodded quietly, the tension in his shoulders easing slightly as Lilly guided him over to the changing area. She moved with practiced ease, quickly removing the damp pull-up and replacing it with a fresh one, giving Olaf a suppository for his nerves. The crinkling sound filled the room as she snugly fastened the sides, her hands gentle but efficient.
“There we go,” Lilly murmured, smoothing out the front of his pull-up before giving him another reassuring smile. “All set. Now, you’ll be nice and comfy for the big day.”
Once Olaf was dressed, the three of them made their way to the door.

Hi! I saw your Olaf-hatepost on my dash and, as a fellow Olaf-hater, I just wanted to tell you about one of my favorite gifts I’ve been given.
For Christmas one year, my siblings got me a stuffed toy Olaf, accompanied by a delightful hand-written and illustrated poem about all the different options at my disposal for destroying him, as well as a variety of snowman-murder implements such as a knife and paracord and a lighter.
My grandparents were confused. My parents were concerned. I was delighted.
My siblings are the best.
XD I love this. They gifted you The Appeasement of Your Rage
