“Try it on,” Omar says. He’s smiling at Edvin and wearing one of his fluffiest grey knit sweaters and he looks so cosy. It’s the kind of fantasy that Edvin can buy into. Edvin shakes the jacket out and then gets one arm in. It’s slightly too tight for the normal jacket maneuver and Omar goes, “No, like—” and tugs his arm back a bit and slides the other arm in so Edvin sleeves himself into both at the same time. When it’s on it feels like butter, warming immediately to his skin. “Here,” Omar says and pushes him towards the floor-length mirror by the door. Edvin starts mugging immediately, pouting and frowning and moving his arms in different poses. He starts reasonably within the fashion posing that Omar taught him, long hours staring into mirrors together talking about making shapes with the body, drawing a line with the arm. Then as he sees Omar’s lip start to shake he gets bigger and more ridiculous. He flexes. He throws in finger guns. Omar laughs so hard he starts to gasp, leaning forward to brace himself on Edvin. Well, then Edvin has to catch him a little so he won’t slip on his socks on the floor, which leaves them both giggling helplessly, holding onto each other’s arms. It takes a minute for their giggles to settle down, turning into breathy inhalations with the occasional slip up. Edvin watches Omar’s eyes go from all crinkled on the side, to bright slits, to open and warm and feels a sense of satisfaction; making Omar laugh is one of the greatest things he can do with his time. Time feels slowed, syrupy and sweet; he opens his mouth, not sure what he’s going to say, and then the door opens. Omar's boyfriend comes in.

Unrelated to Omar I am a big fan of bathtub photoshoots, professional or not. Idk, I just really like bathtub photos, regardless of who’s lying in them. I also really like bathtubs as a furniture (?) object.

This one is just a regular old white bathtub but it has Omar in it so that’s a plus. Love him here, he looks so confident. All black suits him so well.

As you can tell from my tumblr header, the picture with the wine is one of my favourite pictures of him. I also love white wine. Also top tier hair here.

What exactly has Kamala done to reform the justice system and rid corruption from her state of California?

It's kind of refreshing to hear from a straight-forward anarchist. TBH the only political position that's opposed to voting that is at least honest about their goals.

On your header of you blog you say you hate the government and all it stands for. That's pretty straight forward and I probably agree with a lot of what you would have to say about that.

I don't think we can Make America Again by destroying the state we have now. What will rise up in its place is going to be far worse, I hope you can see that. Maybe not.

I think that people who have given their lives/careers for public service are not simply to be thrown out because the government they work for has lost its way. Maybe never had its way ever anyway. I consider myself one of those people, as I've worked my whole career in a public university.

I didn't just immediately block you because you seem like an actual person and not just a bot. I hope you spend your energy in more useful ways for your community in future. Thanks for commenting on that post I commented on and thanks for seeking out my inbox instead of replying to me on thread which has become unusable.

As for your question, I don't know that she's done anything to reform the corrupt court system in California or to reform the police anywhere since becoming VP. That she was willing to listen to those positions that most politicians outside of Keith Ellison and Ilhan Omar were unwilling to touch with a ten foot pole, shows promise. That she's distancing herself from them now is because they are still considered "extreme" positions as framed by the media, part of our our ever rightward drift. A progressive has a chance to get her foot in the door. Maybe try to help her? I dunno...

To start this, I am not a vetter, so I cannot vet any fundraisers, this is just what I have found.

I have personally tried both Google Image Search and TinEye on every picture on this post, the header, the profile picture and the image that appears on the GFM.

TinEye came up with 0 Matches for every picture.

The second picture on this post came up with multiple exact matches, but only the first result was a true exact match, as the others were just similar pictures.

As you can see, it goes to a link on Twitter/X. It links to this post

In the Twitter/X post, there is a link to a GFM, and when I clicked on it, it was the exact same GFM that is in this post.

I did ask if OP knew the Twitter/X user and it seems that @/IzendahNanette and @/weepingcloudyouth are married, which is why the GFM matches, as explained in the messages below

Now for this post, the fourth picture on this post came back with quite a few exact matches, including a different GFM, but a lot of them are to tumblr or tumblr adjacent websites and I cannot check where they exactly go

Lastly, the picture on the GFM came back with 3 exact matches, but they all link to the same GFM in one way or another.

Dear compassionate hearts,

My name is Manal. My husband was everything—a father, a husband, a brother. I live in Gaza with my family, which includes his elderly mother, myself, our children, my widowed sister, and her children. We used to live together in a modest home that provided us with safety and shelter despite our struggles.

During the recent war, our lives turned into a nightmare. We were forced to flee on foot for 10 kilometers with our children, hoping to return to something resembling normal life once the war ended. But when we came back, we found our home reduced to rubble.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Today, we have no roof over our heads. We live among the ruins, exposed to the harsh winter cold and strong winds. My children, like all children, deserve warmth, safety, and a secure place to sleep, but we are unable to provide them with any of that.

I am reaching out to anyone who can hear my plea—whether Arab or international—to help us rebuild our lives. We are in desperate need of assistance to rebuild our home or at least rent a small apartment where we can find shelter and protection from the elements.

Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to us. Your support can be the light that restores hope to my family and gives my children a chance for a safer and more dignified life.

Brushing the dirt from his pants and heaving one last, big sigh, Wille stood up. No use stalling. He’d go to the campsite manager now. Better to get it done and then finally relax and be able to enjoy his trip. A cracking noise sounded behind him. Wille jerked around — and stopped in his tracks, like he was playing musical statues all on his own. Wille wasn’t religious, had never been. But the man that had stepped into the clearing might just change his opinion on gods and deities. Or, the strangers to lovers camping redemption no one asked for.

You put two biologists in a room fandom together and this is what you get.

Despite what some of you might be thinking, neither Jay @enjoythesilentworld nor I have lost the ability to spell. However, we do have a bad case of brainrot. So, when Jay (on a camping trip at the time) told me that someone had put their gear in their camping spot, we very quickly started to wilmonify the situation, as one does. A little bit of fun almost immediately turned into a fully-fledged outline to what would become Growing towards the light.

We know Omar just released Sabotage and I’m sure many of you are feeling very Not Chill right now. If you feel like you need something to calm yourself and find some tranquility and peace… what about a trip to the woods? We’ve heard Wille has been recommended camping to calm down 🫶

Biggest, warmest and most grateful thank you to the incredibly lovely and generous Roo @sobadbad who brought our very vague wishes for a header to life. We’ve been staring at it for two weeks now and still can’t believe it’s real (and maybe we've sent it to each other every other morning, because it's the best thing to wake up to). We love it as much as Simon loves Wille and Wille loves Simon. 💜💜
