A serial killing villain with an unknown Quirk would be no problem!

...but even Izuku had to admit that being sent back in time to his first day at UA wasn't on the agenda. Still, there was no-one more spitefully determined than him – he was going to make the most of it.

They land on him first, then move to contemplate the handcuffs that still restrain his wrists to the table. Finally, both of them lock eyes, and Naomasa can see the newly found sense of composure. His lips part, and he speaks.

“My name is Midoriya Izuku.”

Miruko was in the middle of a fight when she got the call that Hawks and Endeavor were in danger.

She leaves the fight, never knowing that she'd been hit with a time loop quirk - not realizing that she would pass it on to the next person she touched. It's something she finds out the hard way, when she kicks Dabi in the face... and then finds herself facing him again. And again. And again.

In between time loops, the heroine and villain reluctantly get to know each other.

okay so idk if you watched/are planning on watching falcon and winter soldier but i watched the first episode the other day and they were speaking french (just a few seconds) and I UNDERSTOOD SOME WORDS DLDJDJ and i was so proud of myself. i‘ve only ever learned french with duolingo lol (i only do like 5 mins a day and that‘s why i was so surprised that i understood some of it!!). and yeah apart from latin i feel like italian, german, french and english are all similar in a sense.. i mean obviously they‘re completely different languages but for example there are some grammatical constructions in french that i think i wouldn‘t understand if i only spoke english? so when i translate those things into english you can‘t directly translate them bc you say things differently, but when i translate them into german then it makes more sense to me. idk that‘s something i noticed so i feel like if you already know multiple languages it‘s easier to learn another language compared to if you only know one language and are trying to learn a second one. even if the languages aren‘t similar then i think you get the hang of it easier.

ikd slsjsjs also i don‘t want you to think that i‘m a linguistic genius or anything lmfao, like i‘m only fluent in english and german and i‘m just a wannabe (ew that word) polyglot sksj (yes i had to google polyglot— i do think learning ancient greek would be super cool tho? like imagine studying latin AND ancient greek, whew). and honestly i don‘t think i‘ll ever be fluent in another language bc i don‘t plan on living anywhere other than germany or possibly england and i‘m not dedicated enough to properly learn any other languages esp if i don‘t have anyone to speak the language with. but i still try my best and i just love language/languages as a whole so yeah i‘m happy & just learning as much as i can dkdjh🥰

if it’s of interest to anybody, here’s a long ago conversation I had with a very dear friend (and the best writer I know), about this story and the shape of it. it probably would’ve taken place around November of 2018, which is wild to remember. My daughter was 3. I was in the middle of moving house. TAG still hadn’t aired S3. I came to know so much about this story that it’s surprising to remember that I didn’t know when I wrote the first chapter that it even WAS a first chapter.

okay, i’ve told kina this so many times by now, but i love love love this fic with my entire heart, body, and soul. i always avoid multipart fics, but her writing is so gosh darn amazing that i stayed up all night reading this masterpiece. literally, i started reading at 4 am and then stayed up all night and went straight to my 8 am accounting class where i proceeded to read another fic of hers called the leather loafers, which is another fantastic piece of writing by the way. but i love the oc in this fic so much, too, like she’s so unapologetically herself, she knows what she wants, she doesn’t care what anyone thinks, and just wow. this is who i want to play if i’m an actress. also!!! you have to read starlet and moonstruck (5 episodes – episode 1 and other eps listed on masterlist) god, i love everything she writes for jin and basically the hyung line. the oc especially in starlet and moonstruck is another favorite oc of mine. i love how the personalities of each oc in kina’s writing is so distinct and wow, just read everything on her masterlist.

Seungkwan Coffee Shop!AU — “You have a pretty voice”

I died writing this because i melted. it was sO CUTE. I had never written a Coffee Shop!AU before, and I absolutely loved it!! Thank you for the person who requested it! I’m sorry it took me so long to write and post this, and as always, I hope the wait was very worth it!! Everyone, enjoy this and have a great day ♥

seungkwan is a barista in a café that you visit pretty often

he recognized you the second time you stepped in

because tbh, the first time he saw you, he thought you were pretty cute

and the coffee you had ordered was his favorite type of coffee!!

so when you appeared again, you ordered again the same coffee, his favorite coffee

and he was smiling all the time

when he saw you entering, 

when you were approaching the counter (and him, too), 

when he heard your order

seeing him smile for some reason made you smile too

“hi again!!” he said

and you were surprised!! because his café was pretty famous

the coffee was amazing and the also had sweets/pastries

and the baristas were pretty cute

but still he remembered you when it was just your second time visiting!!

falling in love with the small cute coffee shop, you continued to visit it very often

and one day, you surprised him by telling him “Hi, Seungkwan!” when he didn’t remember ever telling you his name

actually, he didn’t remember saying anything other than “hi!!” whenever you saw each other

then he heard mingyu (another barista working there) telling seungcheol (anOTHER CUTE BARISTA) “wHERE IS YOUR TAG”

and he remembered

all of them wear tags with their names on their orange uniforms

(i imagined the uniforms to be orange because i think seungkwan looks amazing in orange and actually all the boys look amazing in orange and orange is not even my favorite color but if they wear it hey new favorite color ok i’m gonna stop ranting thank you)

so he’s like ‘a- right’

and before he can ask you your name, dk appears on scene and he basically answers his unspoken question

“hey (Y/N)!! won’t you greet me too?”

DK is another barista in this café

even though the shop was small, it had a stupidly big amoung of workers there almost everyday?? you had already seen like 13 different workers there

“Hi seokmin!!” you said, with the same happy smile that you gave seungkwan

DK laughed and Seungkwan just looked at him, then at you, then back at DK, then back at you again and he asked you if you wanted “the usual”

and you said yes

so while he prepared your coffee, you left to sit at one of the empty tables near the window

“Do you talk to her??” seungkwan asked seokmin while preparing the coffee

“Yes, I talk with a lot of regulars!!”

“And… You already know her name”

“Yes”

“aND WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME!?” he raised his voice a little too much, causing a few people (and even you!!) to look at him for a second, making him a little embarrassed and repeating the same question in a whisper

“whydidn’tyoutellme??????’‘‘‘??’?”

“I didn’t know you wanted to know!! You could have asked for her name yourself”

“Yeah, I mean, I could have, but,,,”

“… OMG do you perhaps,,,,,,have a crush on her???????”

“wHAT? PFF- NO, WE-” again, he raised his voice, and he quickly started whispering again

“nO we don’t even talk we just say hi when we see each other so i can’t possibly like- omg i think i do like her”

Seokmin chuckled and took the coffee that Seungkwan had just made and took it to your table

when you finished it, instead of leaving the cup on the table for any of the baristas to take it away when you leave, you walked towards the counter to leave it there and

you heard seungkwan, preparing another coffee

and singing

and he sings so well, it was the prettiest voice you had ever heard

so when you place the cup on the counter, he hears the small sound and is slightly startled(?) and stops singing

before turning around and blushing when he saw it was you

before he can start letting out embarrassed giggles, you break the sudden silence

“You have a pretty voice”

and now he’s even more flustered and nervous so he’s like “ahhh hahah oh gosh- you heard it- haha mm thank you!!-”

“I hope I can hear you singing again someday, see you tomorrow!” and after that, you leave

and he just watches you, now all silent again, but his cheeks are still blushed which is the proof of him still being a little flustered about your compliment, but it made him happy

then, he thought of what you had said

“see you… tomorrow??

,,,

,

i have a day off tomorrow,,,,,”

BUT HE STILL COMES THE NEXT DAY

HE PUTS ON HIS UNIFORM

AND HE’S READY TO GIVE UP HIS DAY OFF TO SEE YOU AGAIN

and when you appear, a big smile is inmediately drawn on his face

and it’s honestly sO CUTE

“mm, so,,, what are you doing today???” he says after taking your order

he is trying to indirectly ask you if you have any plans and if you said that you didn’t have any he might ask you out

since, after all, he had a day off

and he would change from his uniform to his clothes in a second to go somewhere with you

but you took it as a friendly attempt of making conversation :( which hey it’s fine because yeah he wants to talk with you but,,, you didn’t catch his “hint”

“nothing!! but i came here because it’s a very calm place, and because i love the coffee here“

and a little bit teasingly since you knew your compliment the previous day made him shy you said “and i was hoping i could hear you sing again”

aND HIS HEART ALMOST EXPLODES

luckily DK appears again to save the moment before seungkwan faints in front of you and he’s like

“oh tHEN LUCKY FOR YOU, SEUNGKWAN IS ACTUALLY ON HIS DAY OFF, SO YOU TWO CAN GO FOR A WALK AND HE CAN SING FOR YOU!!!“

and seungkwan looks at him with an angry yet panicking expression that literally said

“w-WHAT ARE YOU DOING YAH!!!1!!!11“

but you giggle and accept the offer

but instead of leaving, you sit together in the café as you drink your coffee, and he drinks one too

“why did you work if you had a day off?”

and seungkwan just knows that there’s no way he can escape that question

he has to say the truth

and he hoped that you wouldn’t find the real meaning behind it, which was “because i like you”, because he didn’t want to confess yet!! he didn’t even know if you considered him his friend or anything!!!

so he decides to be honest and tell you that he was there because you said you would come

and now it’s your turn to blush and be a little flustered by what he says

you smile at him

“Can you sing a little? it’s okay if you don’t want. i just- i think you sing very very well”

and again he’s flattered and very happy!!! 

so he sings a little of a song he really likes from one of his favorite artists

ok who am i kidding he sang the whole song

and when he finished you clapped a little to not disturb anyone in the café

tHOUGH YOU DON’T KNOW HOW AND WHY DIDN’T THEY HEAR SEUNGKWAN SINGING HE HAS THE VOICE OF AN AAAAANGEEEEEEL

“have you considered becoming a singer??” you asked him

“mmm, i don’t know, but i like singing and i participated in singing contests in jeju!" 

and you’re like "ah, you’re from jeju??" 

and he starts telling you about the contests and funny things that happened as he waited for his turn to go on stage on one of them

and other funny things that he lived in his childhood in jeju

and by the end of it you were laughing so much your face was entirely red and he was happy that he could make you laugh

and then

he blushed so hard when he realized what he just told you and wANTS TO RUN AWAY AND HIDE IN CASE YOU THINK HE’S FLIRTING WITH YOU
