hello. your moodboards. i'm... i'm fritzing even writing this ask, like how. they're so good. pls i bow down, what is your process / what's your favorite image so far / tell me your ellie moodboard creation lore!
omg hiii <333 this got LONG so i will put it under the cut. it's on you for inviting me to ramble about my boards they are a labor of love they bring me soo much joy and this ask has made my night <333
first i made a pinterest board on my super secret pinterest acc (will NOT be linking, its got some very cringe stuff from days past) and at first i just put pics of anna and mary then i searched up angelcore then i took a few pics from my own pin library that i felt gave the Vibes (like all those lonely lit up houses) and then i kept on adding things that i thought matched my aesthetic and now my board is pretty cool looking if i do say so myself :) then i went through my larger board and found pics i thought went well together, i started w the 4 yellow ones bc i wanted to do a 3x3 at first but those 4 just went so nicely and evenly together that i just left it. the first one was literally just vibes but i wanted a sort of ominous feeling, the kissing women being anna and mary, the eyes being anna, the nervous amy gumenick picture being mary, the angel tattoo being a possible representation of their relationship... the fingers gripping the arm conveying that same urgency... i can see mary getting a tattoo especially post-resurrection i think it would be nice for her to have something john never touched. she always told dean that angels were watching over him and i like to think that was a reference to anna :)
that same day i also made my next one, the purple one, in which i included an edit by @sarahblakes which is also my header and by then id decided i was going to make all the colors of the rainbow and i had good purple stuff on my board. so i picked out my 9 fav purple pins on the board and saved them to my desktop with names like m2-1 and so on so i could keep track of them and opened a photo post, put them all in, and moved them around until i liked them. i rearranged it a bunch of times to get it right honestly. again i wanted to convey a sort of fraught urgency, but a little more cosmic now- the hands reaching out to each other are anna and mary, obviously. the stained glass window and church are for anna, the suburban neighborhood for mary, and the art piece of the woman reminded me of mary burning on the ceiling. the first one was smaller and more intimate to me. ive always loved purple it's just such a mystical color i think. again i included the angels watching over you line. i included 8 pictures in this moodboard because they were all different sizes (i save images directly from pinterest and credit where i can, but even with reverse image search a lot of them time finding the original is just not possible) the 4-format didnt work. anyways, i had more pictures for this one.
the next one: red. i almost did a taylor swift, red, reference in the caption, but i restrained myself. i did however include the yonic book painting from portrait of a lady on fire. for lesbian rights. this one im personally really in love with: red represents both anger/violence and love/desire in a way i think annamary really embodies. the photo of the redheaded girl playing the video game is just sooo anna to me: searching for those deeply human experiences. i love the painting with the two characters, one threatening the other with a gun, because that basically did happen in canon. another angel in the middle, red like the moodboard, two vintage-y blonde girls for mary, and of course anna, impaled. loving her was red, indeed. this one again had 8 images because i wanted to keep anna and mary together in the bottom row.
and now, blue. regina spektor caption!! blue, the most human color. anna deeply wanted to be human. she ripped out her grace to truly experience the world. mary meahwhile wanted safety, represented by the various suburban houses. i LOVE the look of this board: blue is also one of my favorite colors. i like how the glowing hands reaching around the moon mirror the image of the wings, but i didnt plan that when i picked the images, i chose them and then arranged them. i loveee houses that look lonely and haunted, lit up from the inside on a blue-dark night. suburban gothic is an aesthetic im obsessed with and it really fits mary and her cookie-cutter motherhood dreams that were heaven sent and wrong for her. the "im still here" sign across from the angel wings one makes a nice visual parallel and i also included it to include the scene where anna proclaims "there's still me" oh anna i love you so deeply.

28. ITALY
Diodato - “Fai Rumore”
youtube
And we’re back to our usual disconnect, where everyone pretends to love Italy and I don’t. I cannot wait for all the Italian crazies to be OUTRAGED by this ranking (28/41 is fine for an entry I don’t care about...?) and reblog this all over the tumblrverse and inflate my reader stats. 😈 but first, let’s discuss what we have on our hands here.
Song Analysis
There’s no way this post *won’t* end up offensive to every Fai Rumore fan, so I will resort to brutal honesty. I never, ever, *ever* cared about “Fai rumore”. In fact, I’d even say it’s strongly overrated by the gross of the Eurovision fandom?
Okay so here’s the deal. I will not deny that “Fai Rumore” has several things going for it. The song has emotional gravitas, Diodato has a great voice and acts very well. It’s technically precise and well produced. It is very competent at what it sets out to be, which is a very standard HQ Sanremo Power Ballad.
But here’s where I feel like I deviate from the norm: You may think “wow Fai Rumore! How brilliant, meticulous and poised”, but I think “how expected, overtly earnest and unfun?”
The problem is, this is Boris’s Bubble and Boris doesn’t enjoy songs that feel like they belong inside a trophy cupboard, and “Fai rumore” is exactly one of those songs, don’t lie. So “meticulous, poised and brilliant” you say, well *I* say “how overtly earnest, unfun and aloof”? I have a Spotify - if I wanted to listen to good music, I’d just use that? Or one of my like 15 Youtube Playlists containing non-ESC entries? Why would I watch Eurovision, or Sanremo for that matter, for the good music when there are so many other (and easier) options available for me that align better to my tastes?
The fact that “Fai Rumore” is *too* perfect for me (and therefore very hard to empathize with imo) is one thing, which leads to other thing I need to point out. I’ll let my friend Matthew take over here, who wrote this paragraph on ESCUnited right after Diodato’s selection:
That final sentences is bone-chilling because it’s so, so true. “I AM A SOPHISTICATED MUSIC FAN BECAUSE I FOLLOW ~FESTIVALE DI SANREMO~” is such a common trope of elistism (like, replace “San Remo” with any quality newspaper, nobel prize winning author or classical music composer and you’ll find to be nearly universally applicable to snobs across the globe), but I find it specifically ugly in Eurovision.
You see, would the same courtesy be extended to a country of lower prestige if they got a Fai Rumore? Would the same courtesy be extended to a person of colour? or a woman? How about others songs that, like Fai Rumore, emulate their country’s musical traditions (Fai Rumore is SO italian you can smell the basil), except those traditions fall outside of the western European bubble? See, it doesn’t bother me that Italians like Fai Rumore and are proud of it. They’re Italians. Of course they are! I don’t judge them for it. I don’t rly care if the odd introvert finds solace in a song of this calibre. But as soon as Matthew made the aforementioned post, people who had previously rated Diodato as a 5/6 already started adjusting their scores to 10s and 12s and, well...
It bothers me that the same fanbase that DEMANDS cultural diversity (Diodato) and/or MOAR ETHNOBOPS (Efendi) refuse to accept a Solovey or an Origo -which are a thousandfold more layered, sophisticated and daring- as an equal.
It bothers *even more* me that people are willing to immediately give Italy a plethora of chances (especially when they choose men! fuck institutionalised sexism!), while not doing the same for a Belarus. Belarus HAS no clear musical scene or funds to really produce good music, yet produced a ridiculously good NF (with a VERY righteous winner - yes, Chakras, but also: Chakras) I’ve seen snobs SLAM VAL, mercilessly despite being an excellent left-field pick (god imagine if Yan had won Eurofest for a sec. What a nightmare). Italy, otoh, also delivered a sterling NF, have *a VERY* rich musical tradition, tons of talent and money and production value... and they still went the lowest common denominator available, and yet they receive praise, without so much as a whisper of protest from our so-called “value seekers”. This level of hypocrisy and double standard wielding, all in the name of wishing to be taken seriously delivers *such* a toxic undercurrent to Eurovision and has absolutely soured me on Diodato. This isn’t his fault, but sadly he’s become a weapon of mass misconstruction and well just because I hate the guy who pressed the big red button more doesn’t mean I automatically like ICBMs. As we come near the songs I actually give a damn’ about, I will start calling the shitpociries out. Brace yourself for it, when I rank Solovey and Da Vidna inside my top five.
Want some examples specifically pertaining to the Diodato fandom? Sure, I’ll give you some:
EJEMPLO UNO:
Diodato fanboys openly coddling him on social media post-lockdown all “PROTECT OUR POOR MUNCHKIN FROM THE CORONAVIRUS”. Like... he’s a *thirty-eight year old adult* he can take care of himself, BACK UP OFF HIM you freaks.
EJEMPLO DOS:
The relevant media having baptized Diodato as THE SAVING GRACE OF THE LOCKDOWN, ITALIANS SINGING ‘FAI RUMORE’ FROM THEIR BALCONIES IN DEFIANCE OF COVID-19, which is such a bullshit narrative it’s turned my hair from black to brown. Yes, the Italians sang “Fai Rumore”. What they don’t tell you is that they also sang many other Italian and non-Italian songs, including humanitarian anthem “Roar” by Kety Perr (cue to Katy Perry being like “OMG I’M SO HONORED TO INSPIRE SO MANY ITALIANS ::hungarianflagemoji::” on twitter.). CNN Like, Eurovision related media LOVE portraying it as a ~life-chaning confort anthem~ - the reality is that “Fai rumore”, while playing its part, was merely a tiny spoke in a giant wheel.
EJEMPLO QUATRO:
Well take a look at how many people will reblog this post and slam it for daring to point out, what I think are really obvious truths to anyone who doesn’t suffer from musical myopia.
In the end, the song is okay and it’s okay to love it. But if you ‘love’ it because you’ve convinced yourself that you must, and not because it genuinely means something to you, I don’t think you have grounds to criticise to criticise anyone but yourself.
NF Corner
As I said, I didn’t follow San Remo live (I never do! *gasp* blasphemy, I know), but I did plan to check it for this write-up except RAI deleted every live performance? And they won’t let me embed the few remaining vids either?
Anyway, this happened so right-click-open this a new tab and then return once you’ve finished it.
Backstage feuds being fought out LIVE on the stage in front of millions of viewers 😍 Apparently Morgan and Bugo were at loggerheads for a while, and had a massive row RIGHT before their performance on the second night, which caused Morgan to stray from the script and sing all the insulting things Bugo told him *to Bugo* instead of the actual lyrics of their duet. 😍 😍 😍 Bugo IMMEDIATELY stormed off the stage to the point where Amadeus had to like... literally tell the gobsmacked audience that Bugo had left the building 😍 😍 😍. This is some god-tier pettiness and I’m completely in awe of it. DEITIES. 😍
aside from Sincerogate, I would’ve embedded vidoes that contained the DRAMA (Rancore), CAMP (Achille) and UNABASHED WEIRDNESS (Levante) of this year’s line-up, but I guess RAI really doesn’t like for people to have fun. Oh well.
Italy 2020 vs Italy 2021
Diodato is male and Italian, so yeah, guaranteed top 10 in Rotterdam, no matter what happens. Search your feelings, you know it to be true. Cynicism aside, televoters WOULD have flocked to it without thinking twice (for exactly those two reasons), passing over many better entries in the process and well... I’m tired and exhausted and I think you can guess I am not very impressed by this likely outcome.
Not sure what RAI’s strategy for 2021 is (lol it’s RAI - they don’t have a strategy. besides Italy have bigger fish to fry than the Eurovision Song Contest as you know), but I’m not very invested either way. I could imagine them internally selecting Diodato if he’s willing to do ESC in 2021, but if this was a one-off deal (which I think it was), they will probably select another plain white bloke for you to obsess over, so no worries :-) #TuttoVaPene
FREAKY! FRIDAY! FACTOR!
I’m sort of conflicted? On one hand, god Fai Ru*snore* is SO typical of “Italy in Eurovision”, not just from a musical perspective but from a point of reverence as well. On to the other hand, when are the fanbases *not* acting insane w/r/t Italy?
San Remo was really crazy this year, enough for me to award Italy a couple Senheads. However... if I wanted to see nice and inoffensive triumph over a bunch of deranged, gimmicky, ott masterpieces, I’d just rewatch #London1977? (offensive take #16: “people that like Marie Myriam the most in 1977 do not understand Eurovision”) Ehhhh whatevs.
Score: 2 Senhits out of 5.

happy bfsn!
*this bfsn post is spoiler-free* and super long...
Chopped: The 100 Fanfic Challenge is going strong! The Round 1: Fluff Winners are being announced today and the Angst Round begins tomorrow! Check it out if you like!
I went to my very first convention Sunday at WonderCon! The tickets were cheap, the drive was beautiful, and OMG IT WAS SO UNBELIEVABLE AND AMAZING!
I couldn’t find my wallet (kid #3 had put in the closet) and was running late. So I ended up in the third row for the panel. Everyone I talked to was super nice. Love our fandom. Again, no spoilers here, but I really enjoyed watching 6x01! And then the cast came out and I was trying to process the episode and I have no idea what happened the next 30 minutes. lol but they’re all gorgeous. (the lighting was horrendous at WC) Jason, Tasya, Richard, Eliza, Marie, Shannon, JR, and Sachin were all there! E, Marie, and Shannon were my favorite to watch and so adorable with one another. Richard is literally Murphy. Bob was supposed to be there but then he didn’t show up and I was lowkey disappointed because your girl dressed real cute ready to meet her second husband
And then I ran around trying to figure out how to get into the singing because they gave out exclusives randomly and I didn’t get it. Annnd in the end, I didn’t get to meet them. 🙃 they even ran out of S6 posters. 😒
So eventually, I got something to eat. $20 fish tacos. And walked around the convention center with my jaw on the ground staring at all the cosplays! I saw The Bellarke family, Clarke and The Blake Siblings, and a Blodreina! And a ton of other crazy cosplays. It was insane. I kept telling everyone how much I loved their outfits. Like Literally™ every single one. Just in awe here of the talent. #HalloweenforAdults
And yeah, that was WonderCon. 🤩💯😭
I went to the con by myself and spent 12+ hours away from home. No kids. No worries. Mama got a little break. I don't think I’ve had a day like that in...years. lol It was all kinds of magical and so refreshing. help me convince my husband I *need* to go to Conaggedon next year
I’m going to leave you with this picture I took on my way home of Pirate Tower in Laguna Beach, California:

Can't wait for you all to see 6x01 and I can't wait for the rest of the season! Stay Positive.Be Kind.Smile🥰

my Great Comet experience
I sat in front mezzanine front row next to the aisle and there was so much interaction with the ensemble!!! This is kind of long sorry but there were so many things!!!
ACT 1 •In the beginning Mary threw me a Pierogi •Courtney was incredible as Mary omg she was so amazing •I noticed before prologue started Dolokhov chills in the left front orchestra and talks to the audience and throughout the whole show he generally stays in that area and the left banquets (so if he’s you’re fave you might want to sit there) •During Pierre (I think) Anatole and Dolokhov sit on the steps together and Anatole rests his foot on dolokhovs leg and he holds it •Nicholas was amazing as Bolkonsky and so funny! His French little thing kept leaning away from him when he was trying to whisper in her ear •Paul Pinto hobbling in as the servant during The Private and Intimate Life made me laugh so much •No one else was so beautiful and the blue lighting and Andrey in the snow ugh •Anatole leaned over a man to kiss his (presumably) wife in his entrance •Natasha’s face after the opera. She was so shocked and confused and everyone laughed •During Natasha & Anatole Anatole looks at an audience member and smiles when he says “isn’t that so?” •Dolokhov’s little dance when he comes in during the duel •Dolokhov was literally yelling all his lines in the duel he’s way more aggressive than in the soundtrack and his movements were very dramatic and exaggerated I couldn’t help but laugh •Anatole ruffling Dolokhov’s hair •"Just as a duck was made to swim" Anatole did like chicken arms and motioned them back and forth as if to be a duck swimming it was adorable •I was lip syncing to the duel and Billy (ensemble) came in front of me and screamed along “HERES TO THE HEALTH OF MARRIED WOMEN…” in my face and I mouthed the words back at him (he also spit on me it was great) •My friend said he also tried to grab my shoulders from behind but I was leaned over towards her so he couldn’t and I didn’t notice some how •Pierre almost came up to where I was sitting during the duel •After the duel Anatole did a little finger gun and made a pow noise at Pierre it was so cute •Dust and Ashes was incredible and all the cast stand in a line in the rear mez and sing (you can’t see this if you’re sitting in the orchestra) •Helene was amazing in Charming I love her so much •The ball had same sex couples •Two male ensemble in bear masks danced right next to me and it was amazing and they danced together but right after the song ended one tripped up the stairs and it made me so sad :( •I didn’t get a letter during letters but I think you mainly have to be in the orchestra to get them. A few were passed out individually by some ensemble in the mez though.
ACT 2
•Ingrid was incredible as Sonya and her voice is so gorgeous •Sonya alone and letters? (I can’t remember the second song) but Natasha walked past me in the front mezzanine •You could see Dolokhov spitting during preparations •During balaga dolokhov whispered into anatoles ear and then went in for a kiss and their lips touched but anatole pulled away and then dolokhov pulled him back closer and smacked his butt •Dolokhov also smacked an ensembles butt a bit later •Balaga was honestly such a fun song and my mom got a red shaker •During the Abduction Anatole sat next to an old man and he kept looking away and giggling and then they fist bumped •The abduction was sooo much fun and omg no one talks about it but Nicholas Beltons dancing!!! His legs kick so high and he is non stop energy •When Pierre giggles after his whoa it’s so adorable •Also an ensemble member jumped on Nicholas Belton’s back and he gave them a piggy back ride •Marya and Helene making out •I think someone forgot to whistle for Dolokhov in his line in the abduction? •In find Anatole, off to the side Pierre literally pushed Paul Pinto down the stairs to the orchestra and it scared me •In Pierre and Anatole after Pierre is threatening and grabbing anatoles throat Anatole touches his throat like he’s really hurt and starts gagging and it’s so sad •Andrey really hit Pierre hard in Pierre & Andrey and then Mary went to comfort him and he threw his hands up defensively and walked past her •Pierre didn’t struggle to find the sleeves :( •The lights in the ceiling during tgc1812 were so gorgeous and beautiful
Bonus stuffy stuff
•Helene is like half naked during her bow it’s wonderful •Anatole and Helene are caressing each other the whole show and it’s gr8 •I love grace so much she is perfect •Courtney and Ingrid were lovely I’m so happy I saw them •Paul being literally everywhere and every single character he’s honestly one of my favorites and deserves more love •Also Nicholas Belton’s dance moves •The ensemble were all so amazing they did like hand stands and stuff off the railing and danced in front of and next to me omg •Andrew played violin in my friends face and another ensemble girl in the beginning played in mine
also if you have any questions feel free to message me and I’m going to post my stagedoor experiences later
#the great comet#natasha pierre and the great comet of 1812#my experience#review#mine#there was so much going on#I didn't know who to watch

“You gotta know who you are.”
~Demone Harris
It has been a busy year. Marathon training consumed all the energy and time I had, and life is happening at the speed of light. But in a nutshell, here are some of things that happened in between the big day at the Baystate Marathon in Lowell, MA.
Training. Training. Do I need to say more?
Orlando Runner’s Club 5K – June 22 (Orlando, FL)
OMG! What was I thinking? A 5k in the middle of Central Florida summer? Yes!!! If it wasn’t for Coach Dave, I’d never had the craziness to take on upon a 5K in the middle of summer. The warmup shenanigans revealed all that I need to know. It was hot and sweaty, so get ready to suffer for the next 3.1 miles.
I lined up where I belonged, and that is, the front row. The first mile was faster than I should had ran at 7:32; faded at mile 2 to 8:02 and tried to decrease to a decent pace for mile 3 at 7:48 and closing the next .10 mile at 6:56. It was painful. It was extremely hot. It was #badass. It was a PR. It was a place at the podium.
Final score:
24:05 PR – 2nd Place AG – mental fortitude gained
Baby Goat 5K – July 27 (Tampa, FL)
After having a blast at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers training camp kick off the day before, including meeting OLB Demone Harris and taking a selfie with WR Chris Godwin, it was time to show to my own party. Again, it’s July in Central Florida, the heat and humidity are off the charts. Summer in Florida is guaranteed to rain and rain heavily. This week and the day before the race, it was no different. It rained a lot!
Nothing new here again as far as prepping and doing my warmup. But today, things felt different. My warmup simply felt horribly hot, exhausting, uncomfortable and heavy. The race didn’t start until 8:00 a.m. which might as well consider a 12:00 p.m. start time.
Right off the bat the race organizer disclosed the potential danger on the course. A puddle. There was a puddle within the first quarter of a mile from the start line. I didn’t make a big deal of it.
Gun went off, here I go, feeling ok but somewhat heavy but still in pace for another PR until I saw the puddle. It was a swamp. Literally. I was scared to run on it and misplace my footing. The water was dark like a lake. I walked through an ankle-high puddle as I internally cried feeling sorry for brand new Adidas Adios 3.
I tried to pick up the pace, but my legs had nothing to give. All I could feel was the wetness of my shoes, hear the squish-squish sound, and feel my legs heavy as a brick. By mile two, I knew this was how the race was going to go. It was not my day. The mental strength was there but the physical strength was not responding to it.
Bottom line: learn from it, have fun and get to the finish line!
Final score:
25:29 – 2nd Place AG (but award only for the first place)
Track Shack Celebration of Running 5K – August 17 (Orlando)
You know it is still a furnace in Central Florida this time of the year. It literally feels that we’re just starting summer. The only difference is that I now have a good mental and physical memory of what it feels like to race a 5K in the summer.
The only elephant in the room was the internal pressure I felt to PR. I mean, Baby Goat 5K had to be a fluke and an off day because I can certainly do better than that! The good indication, besides the heat and humidity is that I felt so much better during the 2 miles warmup as opposed to the previous race.
As usual, I lined up in the front and went for it. At one point my pace was a 6:47. But it didn’t last long as the course started to pick up some steady elevation. I finished mile one at 7:32. There was more baby hills along the route and of course, I was overheating since mile 1. That brings me to close mile 2 at 7:43 and mile 3 at 7:47 with the last .14 at 6:36. By a miracle it was an 8 seconds PR. I can say that I am done with 5K’s for this summer AND still pursuing that perfect 5K negative split.
Final Score:
23:58 – PR Redemption – no AG because there were way too many people.
Craft Classic Atlanta Half Mary – September 7
You know what? This race was too good and special. It deserves its own post.
Racing 5Ks are hard. There is very little to no time for adjustments. The race can go your way or against you in matters of minutes. It teaches perseverance. It teaches grit. It teaches patience. It teaches figuring out, learning, reshaping, recreating who you are!
During my brief interaction with Demone Harris as he autographed my hat, I asked him: what do you do to keep your mental toughness sharp? Without hesitation he responded: “you gotta know who you are.”
Fast Forward to Baystate “You gotta know who you are.” ~Demone Harris It has been a busy year. Marathon training consumed all the energy and time I had, and life is happening at the speed of light.

Last Week’s Workouts
Looking back at last week’s workouts, I would say two things.
I took the week off from running because running Beach to Beacon 10K on Saturday flared up my posterior tib tendon. If you have been a long time reader, you may remember this pesky tendon was part of the reason why I was unable to run for 6 months back in 2015. The good news is that my tendon was feeling great by the end of the week. The bad news? It started to hurt again when I ran on Saturday. Enter ALL the crazy injury thoughts into my head.
I stepped out of my comfort zone and hit the pool. Not just for pool running but actual time in a lane. I know. Whoa.
Here’s the rundown on how last week’s workouts went.
Monday
40 minutes Elliptical
40 minutes strength
Squats
Squats with shoulder press (45 lb plate)
Single leg calf raises
Single leg step ups with 30 lb Kettlebell
TRX single leg squats
TRX pike planks

Egoscue exercises
Foot/ankle strengthening band work
Wednesday
40 minutes Arc Trainer
40 minutes strength
Single leg TRX squats
Kettlebell squat press
Bench side step ups w/ 15 lb Kettlebell
TRX push ups
Bench press (flat and incline)
Rope pulls (3 x 60 seconds)
Cable crossovers
Pull up prep, bar hangs (3 x 60 seconds)
Pull up prep, mini pulls 3 x 6
TRX row
Egoscue exercises
Foot/ankle strengthening band work
Thursday
30 minutes pool running w/ 30-45 sec pick ups
10 minutes kick board
Morning Flow Yoga at Bending Bodhi
Egoscue exercises
Foot/ankle strengthening band work
Mary invited me to an early morning pool session. When she mentioned swimming and laps, I had so many questions. Would I need a swim cap? (if you want to wear one, go ahead). Will I need goggles? (see answer to the first question). Will I have to share a lane and OMG how do you do that? (It’s usually not that busy but I’ll explain it when we are there). Will I drown? (no!)
You know – important questions for someone who has zero experience of lap swimming. And someone who is at best, a champion dog paddler.
It was actually fun to have company with pool running and to try something different. I know I said it before, but I will be spending more time in the pool.
Friday
20 mile bike ride
Egoscue exercises
I had an unexpected afternoon off from work so I hopped on my bike for a ride down to the bay. It was a beautiful day!
Foot/ankle strengthening band work
Saturday
3 mile run
Egoscue exercises
Everything was going along fabulously for my run until the very end. My tendon and medial malleolus started to hurt. I came home ice, stretched and tried to massage the knots out as best I could. Damn you tendon! My mind started to do crazy things and I started to wonder if maybe I had a stress fracture again, this time in the medial malleolus. F@ck. I know posterior tib tendonitis is not fun and a pain to get rid of but I’d much rather have that then wear another boot so soon after getting rid of it just over 2 months ago.
Sunday
Rest day at the beach. Maybe the iced cold Atlantic helped because my foot was feeling better with more range of motion and no pain afterwards. Fingers crossed it gets better every day.
Is it a stress fracture or posterior tib tendon flare up? The big ? from @happyfitmama last week’s… Click To Tweet
Linking up with Hoho for the weekly workout wrap up.
