Howdy’s Caterpillar Scarf!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I didn’t take any photos in it since it was so hot in my house (AC is broken 🥲) so I screenshotted a couple shots from my TikTok
This scarf was so much fun to make though! I know it looks in the original photo that it had straight edges, but I just thought making the body look more circular made it look like a storybook caterpillar, and I’m a sucker for button eyes
It’s also super long which I love!

Something was found in Rosswood Park, We are requesting help from locals along with anyone else who can help us identify this creature. We are open to listening to anyone who has any ideas but due to the conditions of the corpse we can only have certified professionals in the room with it while wearing PPE.

Seeing photos of SCP-096 is dangerous, but the Foundation’s research says that artistic depictions are perfectly alright. If you’re in the mood to represent both the Foundry and Foundation, we’ve got only 70 of these SCP themed pins left in stock! Why not pick one up during the spookiest time of the year?

SCP#: AIL
Code Name: Thomas the Second Victim
Object Class: Euclid/ Keter
Special Containment Procedures: Mobile Task Force Dionysus-3 "The Party Package" is responsible for finding SCP-AIL instance during raids on buildings owned by Group of Interest: H&A Harmony Toys.
All captured instances of SCP-AIL are to be taken to Site-AF for processing, if they "Sane" they are allowed to stay at Site-AF and live in a 6x6 containment cell made of Grey Concrete ensuring there is enough space for all of them. These SCP-AIL instances are to be given furniture, books, toys, crayons, notebooks, paint, pencils, board games, and video games should they desire it. Under no circumstances are any of the SCP-AIL instances allowed to have electronic devices that have internet access and/ or can send messages.
Efforts are underway to have them receive the proper mental and physical therapy to keep them stable. It is with hopes that the Foundation can build them new bodies so they can be free of [data expunged]. Afterwards depending on the levels of success they can either be reenter society or become official Foundation staff.
SCP-AIL instances that are "Seeds" are to be incinerated at once as to prevent "sprouting" happens.
Description: SCP-AIL is a collection of dolls created by Group of Interest: H&A Harmony Toys. The dolls are known as "Playtime Henry" toys. Like most H&A Harmony Toys they have anomalously life like characteristics such as talking, singing, walking on their own, and at time can seemingly be able to actually see what and interact with things as if they were living things. Of course, this is believed to be because of the demon [data expunged] attached to the H&A Harmony Toys brand. However, unlike the other anomalous toys created by SCP-AIL, it is not a rouge of one of the toy lines, but instead almost the entirety of the toy line. Almost every instance of "Playtime Henry" toys have been possessed by an instance of SCP-AIL.
SCP-AIL quite similar to SCP-AIF in that the toys contain the remains of Thomas who is the son of Person of Interest: Martin Greywhinder. However, unlike SCP-AIF, SCP-AIL consists of several pieces that are spread throughout several of the "Playtime Henry" toys. Some SCP-AIL instances do have small pieces of rotten flesh and bones of Person of Interest: Thomas Greywhinder but they also have pieces of other children that are victims of Person of Interest: Martin Greywhinder.
As such each SCP-AIL is different from one another in both personality and danger level. The best that can be divided to them is two categories, known as SCP-AIL "sane" and SCP-AIL "seed". SCP-AIL "sane" are SCP-AIL instances that manage to retain some of the memories of who they once were and thus have an intense fear or hatred of Person of Interest: Martin Greywhinder. As such they naturally consider Group of Interest: H&A Harmony Toys and either escape from their custody or fight back against the company. As such when they come across MTF Dionysus-3 units they typically surrender quite quickly and sometimes even help them take down hostiles within Group of Interest: H&A Harmony Toys. As such its quite easy for MTF Dionysus-3 units to identify them and escort them to Site-AF after the raid is over.
The same cannot be said for, SCP-AIL "seed". These Instances are either flaws or under the complete control of the demon [data expunged]. SCP-AIL "seed" instances are extremely unpredictable in danger levels and "mutations". SCP-AIL "seed" instances normally work as traps or soldiers for Group of Interest: H&A Harmony Toys, or at least when it's possible to do so. Most SCP-AIL "seed" instances brought into Foundation custody were found due to them being bought by families that would later be killed by the anomaly. Afterwards either a survivor reports the incident or someone who happened to be close enough to witness the incident does. That's when Mobile Task Force Iota-10 "Damn Feds" goes in armed with flame throwers and poltergeist shock batons to take down the anomalous instance. It should be noted that the reason for the SCP-AIL "seed" instances killing the family is to have sacrifices for the demon [data expunged].
However as stated before not all SCP-AIL "seed" are loyal to the Demon or Group of Interest: H&A Harmony Toys. Instead, these SCP-AIL instances are both physically and mentally unstable, meaning they impulsive kill anything on sight. Furthermore, if they ever reach a state of pure insanity they will begin to "sprout". An SCP-AIL "seed" instance beginning to "sprout" causes it to grow fleshy tendrils out of its body as its wooden body starts quickly rotting. Normally this results in a [data expunged], despite their grotesque appearance they are surprisingly easy to kill. However, if SCP-AIL instance is close to other SCP-AIL instances regardless of their "sane" or "seed" status the result will be different. This also extends to other toys created by Group of Interest: H&A Harmony Toys, if an SCP-AIL "seed" instance beginning to "sprout" around said toys, it will fuse those toys into its own body making a chimeric monstrosity that will go out and collect more toys to fuse and more humans to eat.
An SCP-AIL "seed" instances can sprout at any moment making them extremely dangerous, hence why they need to be destroyed on sight. Incineration has proven to yield the best results when destroying SCP-AIL "seed" instances.
SCP-AIL was discovered in 1985 sometime after Foundation raids on areas owned by Group of Interest: H&A Harmony Toys became more frequent. For whatever reason after the confirmed death of Person of Interest: Martin Greywhinder the H&A Harmony Toys brand didn't tank in sales, instead they skyrocketed. It is believed that this is a result of the Demon's influence, but nothing has been confirmed.
It is with hope that even with the Demon's influence enough raids will allow Group of Interest: H&A Harmony Toys to eventually crumble and allow innocent anomalies like the SCP-AIL "sane" instances will be liberated from their cruelty.

Shitfit #1 - Lack of female voices in ARGs/unfiction/online horror series
I watched this documentary yesterday, which I highly recommend if you’re interested in these topics. Anyways, one thing I noticed that really irked me is the lack of female creators in the horror space online. I was talking to someone on Reddit after I posted there asking about female creator recommendations, and while yes, I agreed with them that gender doesn’t matter when a created product is good, that doesn’t change the fact that I feel underrepresented. This isn’t just a YouTube problem, it’s a problem in the entire horror genre. In my research on horror, I found this article on women in cinematic horror. While I do think a lot of the problems with the lack of diverse voices in online horror overlap with cinematic horror, I still have a feeling that it still doesn’t line up. The Internet is much more accessible. In the documentary mentioned above, it is said that the over-saturation of analog horror is because of how easy it is to make. Anyone with an iPhone can make something. I ask then, where are my ladies at? Surely not every woman interested in horror is as lame as me and simply lacks motivation and self-discipline. I only need one hand to count online horror creators I know of that are women. I thought that was my fault, I used to be really bad for only consuming content made by men for internal misogynistic reasons, but I’ve outgrown that. I am actively looking for female creators! When I asked Reddit, I got null. Not even other members of the community can think of any. Now I do know that this is partially caused by the anonymity usually involved in ARG/unfiction/online horror. The creators usually pretend they’re a character who’s “found a tape” or whatever. But come on. I’m going crazy here and don’t know what to do about it.
Now I know what you’re thinking. “Well, you said that you don’t care who makes someone as long as the product is good!” This is true. I don’t really know how to explain the yearning I feel. The creator and their identity do influence the content. Women’s roles in online horror are usually reduced to acting, which is fine! Acting is super cool and I have seen some really good voice acting in horror series, but that’s the same problem cinematic horror has. We get a lot of horror movies about women but directed by men. LAME! Yawn. There are things about women that I feel could make bomb-ass horror content. For example, a lot of analog horror is about the horror of your reality being undermined, which like 99% of the time is represented by the government lying to you or an evil force using the TV to subliminally influence you. Bestie that actually happens! Go watch a cleaning product commercial compilation and the lead role in that commercial is going to be a woman, because cleaning is all we do, apparently. Shit like that is everywhere. Look at ads for make-up in any time period. Woman’s issues and the shit forced upon them are so underutilized in the online horror community. The fact that it’s a “funny joke” online right now to comment on the colour of a woman’s clit? That you can find comments like that on posts of newborns or little girls? That we’re powerless to stop it and it will continue no matter what we want? That’s pretty scary! If you think I have gotten away from my original point, you’re wrong. What I am saying is that there are many underutilized real horrors to be inspired from, and it would be nice to see issues I and other women face in online horror, and more female creators in general. This post is only touching the surface of under-representation in online horror, there sadly is not a lot of diversity.
If you have any recommendations, give me them. If you are hesitant about creating online horror, don’t be. I will eat that shit up! Thanks.

I think what mandela catalog so good and how it separates itself from other of its kin, is cause its built with theme.
Alot of online horror is good but can’t break that barrier of being amazing is that they fall into the fnaf issue. They keep adding lore and plot and characters then present them in admittedly spooky ways but by the end the whole thing fizzles out. Things either sorta keep happening or the whole thing just ends.
I’m not looking for a set moral or something, just something connecting all the scary stuff your doing. What are you saying? The best horror represents something or other so find what your scary thing represents and RUN WITH IT.
Idk I just want something to chew on after watching an hour long lore vid that just lists off your stories kill count.

my apartment is slowly changing for the better. The flowers are growing better, and the pool seems to be getting cleaner. The room what once used to be the store room, has painted walls and plans of turning it into a library of sorts.
But what confuses me, is the door at the end of the store room, I dont remember much, but there used to a little roon around the same size of our bathrooms Its no longer there.
I remember the smell of the store room well, like that of rotting fish.
Anyways, that was maybe 5 or 6 years ago. I'm just glad that my apartment is changing, if I remember anything else about that room, I'll post it here

I had a story/writing idea!
Pretty much the gist is a group of mundane journalists or even private investigators looking for a scoop gets involved with a the hidden world of the eldritch and liminal beings and places. But like the whole group of journalists primarily reason for bringing to light stories about evil cults and the like is solely because they need a good story so all of them don’t lose their jobs.
The creatures and flavor of supernatural would primarily be based on all flavors of internet horror and urban legends.
I’m talking about them getting involved with spam mail that is cursed. I’m talking getting trapped in liminal spaces. I’m talking about internet created monsters. I’m talking them realizing the cicada project was a actual thing. I’m talking a huge ass love letter to internet horror. From the cheese of creepypasta to the organization of creavity that is the back rooms and Scp wikis to arg horror in general. I want internet horror with all its Shlock and creativity to be the basis of everything the characters would face.
Of course they would probs be classified someway by either how they are or how they attack humans. For example something liminal would be different from something that infects the internet. And would be in two classifications.
The back rooms and the Scp I feel wouldn’t be blatant but similar inspired things would be in this world, there definitely some government or company’s that definitely has touched paranormal and liminal things but less a focused group researching them.
All the characters part of the lackluster team that all recently got the job out of college (or not in some cases of characters) be the most normal people with the most normal life’s. They are different but they definitely not the type of people you would expect gets entrenched in all the paranormal going ons. And as much I like having a Sceptic in these types of groups, because how normal and underprepared they are. Once they start seeing weird shit immediately sees that ain’t right and is rightfully freaking the heck out.
