Can you maybe do a Wednesday and Enid x reader (platonic or romantic) where basically the reader comes from a very rich family and likes to spoil Wednesday and Enid.
(I hope this makes sense)
Tumblr media
Is this what you wanted? Idk but I thought a headcannon format would be more sufficient for this but again idk. You tell me.
You spare no expenses when it came to Wednesday and Enid. You never bothered to try in fact because it didn’t really matter, as the money spent would eventually find itself back into your parents bank account anyways so why should you fret about accidentally crossing certain thresholds?
So when Wednesday’s typewriter starts having complications, hindering her writing time, you assured her that you would be able to get it fixed by the best people there was in fixing things. However it turns out that the typewriter was irreparably damaged and you had to buy Wednesday a new one that was personalised to be coated in a matte black colour and you even had her initials engraved on the front of it in gold cursive.
Wednesday may not have looked visibly thrilled at the new typewriter but her bland words of “I’m so ecstatic that my face can not comprehend how to convey it.” Were all you needed to know that she did in fact liked her new typewriter and began working on her book as though nothing ever happened. The next day you found a dead bird in front of your dorm, this was Wednesday’s way of saying ‘thank you.’
You even went out of your way to find enid a new part for her laptop when she complains to you that she couldn’t get anything do without it. So once again you went off to find the best shops available in Jericho that could help you in finding what you needed. Unfortunately due to it being the city of Jericho there weren’t a single good shop in sight that even had the part you needed in stock nor even in the back with the rest of the recent deliveries.
Typical.
With that you resorted to plan b and reached out online to shops elsewhere and ordered it for a next day delivery as to save yourself and enid the agonising waiting game. You even got her some other parts should this happen again but all of them were expensive and of state of the art manufacturing with the added promise of longevity and efficiency.
Enid was gobsmacked when she learnt that you did this all for her. “How can I pay you back for doing this for me?” She would ask but all you told her was that you didn’t need to be paid back for as long as she was happy and that the part was doing it’s job smoothly without any hitches, then that’s all the payment you desired.
This didn’t stop at fixing and or replacing their broken stuff but it also extended to their birthdays where you got enid more squishmellows for her growing pile, top of the range designer clothing that you’d knew she would look stunning in, new sets of nail polish, moisturisers, makeup and some new fairy lights should her current ones light their final night.
For Wednesday it was a little more trickier as she hated her birthday being celebrated in the traditional sense that you and enid were brought up with and instead you bought her an actual guillotine that she had set up next to her cello outside on the balcony of Ophelia Hall, dissection kits, things to keep her cello in top condition, some dark flowers that didn’t require much caring for, pacidermy animals much to Enid’s dismay as Wednesday would always seemingly have them face her whenever she said something that Wednesday wasn’t particularly fond of.
When Wednesday and enid try to repay you on your generosity, enid worries that due to your upbringing, you would be expecting diamonds, gold and the such thrown at your feet but Wednesday told her that she was exaggerating and that yes, you were born into an extremely wealthy family but the addams noted that you have a preference for the smaller things. So out they went to Jericho and chose a couple of things that they thought you’d might like.
Enid got you some cute toys that she though would add to your dorm along with getting you a matching snood with her and Wednesday that you could all wear to class together. Wednesday got you a necklace with a dead crow with a black Dalia sprouting from it’s heart with some of it’s crystal feathers dotted here and there up the silver chain as to give off the impression that this crow was shot out of the sky. She also got you some uncouth stuff like a hand mace or an taser for self defence for when people who couldn’t get the hint.
She wouldn’t admit it but even Wednesday was a little nervous that you might not like what they got you. However she didn’t have to continue putting belief into that thought as your eyes light up at each and everything that she and Enid got you that by the end of it you looked to both of them with the widest grin they’ve ever seen. “Thank you both so much! I love everything you’ve given me! Nobody’s given me things that I actually like!”
“What do you mean by that y/n?” Enid asks, confused.
“My parents think that splashing their money on expensive stuff for me is what I want but it’s not, I could care less about having the state of the art phone, tv, clothes, none of that matters to me but it seems that to them, that’s all that matters is to not only be rich but look rich too…so when they started putting large sums of money into my bank account, I spent it on the things that I want, on the clothes that I felt good in rather then what they think I’d look good in for their reputation. So I thank you both for these,” you told them as you squeezed one of the plushies Enid bought you close to your chest, “I love them a lot.”
“Even the taser?” Enid asked as Wednesday stared at her
You chuckled, “yes, even the taser. After all you can never be too sure when a creep is nearby.” You looked to Wednesday who’s lips almost uplifted into a proper smile but came back down into it’s neutral state just seconds later.

Hey! i love your writing! its beautiful and amazing! I was wondering if you could do a Donnie x reader where the reader has really bad anxiety and fidgets when they get anxious to take their mind off it so in order for them to stop biting their nails/picking lips/picking skin/ etc he makes them a fidget toy??
I cant wait to see what you come up with! drink water and charge ur chromebooks people
donnie x gn reader
“Rate this one through ten.”
“Um… an eight?”
For the past hour and a half, Donnie had been giving you things to rate. These things ranged from button clicking noises to the sound that was made from a joystick going back and forth as if you were playing a video game.
“And this?” Another clicking noise.
“A four.” Donnie nodded very seriously and then turned around to keep fiddling with whatever he was making. His back kept you from getting a clear view of what it was.
You bounced your leg and brushed a hand over your lips.
A spray of water hit you in the face. “Hey!” You spluttered, dumbstruck at the sight of a spray bottle in one his mechanical arms. “What do you think you’re doing?” You wiped your face off.
“How will your lips ever heal if you keep picking them?” Donnie huffed, waving the bottle threateningly when you wiped off your lips. You glared at him and he returned it.
After a moment of staring you down, he slowly turned back around.
“Alright.” The arms went back into his shell and the spray bottle fell to the ground. He turned around with his hands clasped together. “Are you ready?”
“I guess?” you held your hands out and an irrational fear of him dropping some rat or spider in your hand made you twitch nervously.
Donnie grinned and released his hands. A cube fell into your cupped hands. You brought it closer to look at it.
It just looked like a fidget cube. “Oh. Thank you.”
“Of course.” Donnie’s chest puffed out proudly. “Go ahead and press a button.”
You did.
“You like buttons with this certain noise.” He motioned for you to press it again. “You like switches with this amount of give. You like joysticks with this sound, also.”
There was definitely a lot of care and attention put into this.
“And!” He snatches it away from you for a moment as he pressed a small switch on the bottom. “It glows.”
“Thanks... but,” He placed it back onto your outstretched hand gently, “you know I can buy these online, right?”
An offended look crossed his face. “What? You dare compare my work to some shabby manufacturers who care more about quantity than quality?”
“What? No!” You waved your hands but kept a grip on the cube. “It’s just… this is a lot of work just for me.”
Donnie scoffed and took the cube from you again. He held it up to his scrutinizing gaze. “This? A lot of work? Absolutely not. If you want more things to fidget with on it, it’d be easy as recounting the first 100 digits of Pi. This was only the first prototype.”
“The first?” You took it back from him. You clicked the switch to make it glow a certain color. “What more can you add?”
Donnie laughed and picked up a screwdriver. “Wanna find out?”
“Nope!” You hid it in your hands. “This is fine for me.”
Donnie let out a disappointed sigh and threw the screwdriver carelessly behind him. “If you insist.”
“Thank you,” you said genuinely. “But how will I know what to give you as a gift in return?”
“Mess with it instead of your skin and we’ll be square.” He waved you off, seemingly distracted by a new sheet of metal he picked up. But you saw how he glanced at you out of the corner of his eye. “I hate thinking about your skin cells clogging up my ventilation system.”
“Right…” You smiled happily, pressing a button rapidly on the cube. It sounded just like someone repeatedly clicking the top of a pen in class.
Donnie jerked at the sound, his eyebrow twitching in agitation. “Maybe this was a bad idea.”

Ranking Plush Cobras 🐍
Part 1: ranking plush anacondas 🐍
"Cobra" is a little vaguer than anaconda, because "cobras" include a specific genus and the common names of a variety of snake species. As such, I'll give them more leeway in terms of color accuracy, but I think the shape of the hood will make or break these snake plushes.
Cobra Stuffed Animal by Wild Republic
Tumblr media
Length: 54 in
11/10. I chose cobras after I found this guy because I love him, so much. Her cute little face. Their perfect little hood. They look like they're smiling. I can't see the back, but I think this is a creative interpretation of a monocled cobra, which can be striped. The spectacled cobra also has similar front-hood ornamentation, usually seem more "freckled" than "striped". I think this could pass for a creative interpretation of both. Unlike most snake plushies, the proportion of the head is much more accurate and in my opinion, cuter. Wild Republic really redeemed themselves from last time.
Cobra Snake Plush by Top Toy
Tumblr media
1.5m
4/10, this guy certainly has the look of maybe a king cobra, and that chunky head shape so many retailers seem to use for snakes actually fits the cobra. But if I want a plush of a deadly snake I would prefer it have the :< expression of a cobra and the big, charming eyes. Also, king cobras should have round pupils.
Cobra Pillow Snake by Unknown (via whiteblackstore)
Tumblr media
2.1m
8/10 This is one of the longer cobra plushes, and he has an excellent shape, very huggable, soft, and does look like he'd work as a pillow although I couldn't confirm whether there is wire in her body. I'll note that even the product photo seems to have a manufacturing defect in one eye. This cobra was found on several websites, but I couldn't find the manu. The cape cobra can be orange, so even that works!
Plush Cobra by Haihuiyuan (?) (via aliexpress)
Tumblr media
Length unknown
10/10 considering the size and simplicity I actually really like these ones. They all look a little angry but extremely cute, which is what I want in a cobra stuffie. Not angry as in vicious but angry like you just walked in on them at a bad moment and they turned around in surprise. Again, the cobras have heads the same size as their body, which I think is great. There are no blue cobras (I think) but I will accept this inaccuracy for the sake of cuteness.
Cobra snake plush by iharttoys
Tumblr media
1+ m
2/10. My partner described these as "muppet like" and I actually added a point of that because thats a cute concept, but I hate these. I despise cartoon animals with this much white in their eyes, but other than that I think the hood just looks awful, like terrible finds, and the scales look too fish-y because they're big. I wish more plushies had open mouths, though, but I would definitely put fangs in them if I did an open mouth.
Cobra Stuffed Animal by WildRepublic (2)
Tumblr media
12in* *standing up, longer uncoiled.
6/10 This small cobra is like the platonic ideal of cobra plushes. Its fairly accurate in color, fairly accurate in shape, and uses simple patterns effectively. Its like an 8/10 for accuracy, but it just doesn't charm me as much as some of the others I've seen.
Realistic stuffed cobra by Aurora (via stuffedsafari on pinterest)
Tumblr media
13in* *may be standing up, couldnt find confirmation, looks to be longer uncoiled
9/10 another excellent cobra plush. This is more perfect than I ever could have imagined. The material used looks to be textured with different textures on top and bottom. My only complaint with the toy is the hood should be connected a little lower to match the shape of the head. My other complaint is that I can't actually find this anywhere for sale- I think it was sold out but still appeared on the pinterest page for the online store.
Foilkins Cobra by WildRepublic (3)
Tumblr media
54in
7/10 I really like the vibe of this guy. Definitely a more flashy variety, not really trying to be realistic with its gimmick of having shiny scales, but it has a cute shape. Could use a bigger hood, maybe. Adorable though.
Cuddlekins cobra by Wildrepublic (4 or 2b?)
Tumblr media
12in* *probably longer uncoiled, unclear
7/10 I have no idea if this is real. This snake is present on the wildrepublic amazon page and I could find no other pictures of it. Here is the saga of what I found about it:
One US reviewer posted a photo (2022) of what they purchased and it was clearly the cobra reviewed in WR 2, which does not have the fancier materials. The WR website has the WR 2 snake as being $23 but the amazon listing lists WR 4 as $55. In fact, a UK reviewer on Amazon from 2023 posted that the snake was not shiny and in the photo it looks the same as WR 2. I do hope people aren't buying for $55 from amazon when it is only $22 on their website- assuming everyone is getting WR 2 instead of the above picture. I did check and confirm the prices for plushes are normally the same on amazon and their website. I also went ahead and reported this to amazon, although I have no idea whether they take action on things like this.
Stuffed cobra from Sunny Toy (via stuffedark)
Tumblr media
62in
8/10 Now THIS is what I'm looking for when I see a snake with an open mouth. This guy is discontinued so I couldn't find many details but he appears to be a puppet. I love his little fangs and delightful expression. Definitely a shape > pattern and color design, but it works.
Stuffed cobra from Fiesta Toy (via stuffedark)
Tumblr media
49in
10/10 I think this snake has excellent vibes and could be my friend. no notes.
Wild Eyes king cobra by Animal Planet
Tumblr media
38in (?)
1/10 I despise this snake. Its so ugly. why would you do this to me.
In conclusion
There are way more cobras than anacondas, and I would say they're generally more charming. I think the hood makes the cobra plushes instantly recognizable, but it also seems to be the only thing that will convince designers to make a snake plushes head a reasonable size compared to its body. Most of the hoods do tend to be a bit fin-ish and the nicer ones have the hood taper down the body.
Cobras dont always have their hood up- they do so as a threat display- so I've been ruminating on the techniques one could use to make a fold-out hood without ruining the plushness of the toy. I have not been able to think up a good solution.

Note
Popularity does matter and helps measure a characters worth. If they are written well then they generally will be the most popular. Also you should care about popularity seeing how that keeps a conversation going and keeps that character relevant and keeps the fanarts and fandom works coming.
Levi is no longer popular and that just goes to show that he fell off as a character. He had potential to be something great but just left many disappointed. This is why he's no longer the face of aot or the most popular in his show. (Eren took that shit back!!!) This is why he's losing polls to characters like Gojo. He's just not relevant anymore. You're more likely to see Eren and other characters on anime fan creator pages than Levi now. Levi barely pulls in the interactions and likes on twitter whereas Eren and Mikasa are bringing in the numbers. You see Levi used to be the talk of the town and the anime IT boy. He used to be everywhere and if you spoke against him you'd be swarmed. Now that doesn't happen. People just don't care. If you have a character that was that popular and now they're barely talked about, you know something went wrong. You know they fell off and disappointed people because their writing was lacking. So yes I do actually think popularity measures the worth of a character.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hey, keyboard warrior.
Here is the thing about throwing shade from the anonymity – it takes about as much courage as a moldy banana peel challenging a hurricane. If your opinions are so earth-shattering, why hide behind anon messages like a frightened internet ghost?
I find it hilarious that you are saying Levi is the one who "had potential to be something great but just left many disappointed" when in reality it is Gojo who has left many disappointed. (Not hate)
Let's talk popularity. You act like it's some holy grail of character worth, this infallible judge of quality.
Newsflash: popularity is fickle. It's a vapid internet windsock, blowing whichever way the latest meme dictates.
Sure, a well-written character with depth can grab attention, but sometimes pure entertainment value steals the show.
The goofy dumb hero with a tragic backstory might not win a Pulitzer, but they keep the popcorn tubs overflowing, right?
Trends shift faster than Kardashians change their hairstyles.
Characters dominating discussions today are yesterday's news tomorrow.
Guts is one of the most well written character of all times, but we rarely see him dominating popularity polls. Because popularity is a snapshot in time, not a mark of quality.
Are Kaneki and Light still relevant online? Maybe, but probably not the first name that pops into someone's head when they think "hottest anime character." Why? Because Tokyo Ghoul and Death Note are not the shiny new toy everyone's playing with anymore.
That doesn't make them bad characters now, does it? Just means Jujutsu Kaisen is the new kid on the block.
Popularity reflects the current hype, not some objective measure of quality.
Now, about that "Levi isn't popular anymore" claim.
Here's a little fact for you: Levi is declared the most popular anime character of all time. Still riding high on My Anime List at number 2, with Eren trailing behind at 13th and your precious Gojo at a respectable 16th.
Funny how you cherry-picked one popularity poll to fit your narrative (Anime Corner 2023), isn't it?
Bet that pinches a bit in your anonymous little corner.
I don't use Twitter (X) now, because that platform lowers the IQ of the entire internet by several notches. Who cares who's trending there? It's a chaotic mess of fleeting opinions and manufactured outrage.
Attack on Titan season four took a sharp turn, shoving Eren into the villain spotlight. His descent into darkness was undeniably intriguing, and I can see why it grabbed people's attention (and mine too). Let's not forget Eren is the protagonist. The entire story revolves around him. Of course his character development and tragic romance with Mikasa would be a focus!
But here's the thing – Levi's popularity doesn't magically disappear because Eren's on the rise. They're both compelling characters in their own right.
In fact "Bad Boy" manga that is going to be released is revolved around Levi.
So, instead of anonymously whining about a perceived decline, why not ditch the negativity and have a real conversation? What makes a character truly tick for you? Is it the emotional depth, the badassery, the hilarious quirks? Let's dissect what truly makes a character shine, instead of resorting to schoolyard taunts about a fictional character.
In the end, Levi's legacy in Attack on Titan is undeniable. He's a fan favorite, a symbol of unwavering strength, and a character who continues to inspire cosplay, fanart, and endless debates. Maybe the hype has shifted a bit, but his impact and popularity on the anime world remains. So, take your anonymous complaints and channel them into something constructive. The internet could use a little less negativity and a lot more genuine discussion about the characters we love, flaws and all.

ONLINE: INKEDTRUTHSEEKER888 Subject: RE: [FULLY LOST] 1980's Weird Kids Cartoon: Watcher World Cartoon Advertisement? Written by: InkedTruthseeker888 Hello! Hi! Bonjur, i think i'm making some progress in getting some more information that maybe could help in the search. This actually isn't an episode from the AIDT. it's a commercial! The commercial is drawn in the same style as the cartoon so, i think that Watcher World, and Uncle Wiley's Toys are connected to this show in some form or another. Makes sense due to the merchandise from both Watcher World and the toy manufacturer have these exact characters in their marketing. Granted Watcher World only has Blinky (Why is the creepiest character the one that has it's own theme park?) but, it is a huge theory that i think is pretty promising. What do you guys think? Maybe if we look into both companies we could get closer to finding out the truth.

Michael scope
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Zeiss Jena Laboval ?3? I think, documentation for the Laboval series online starts and ends with the Laboval 4. By all accounts this is their upper mid range lab scope, with Amplival being the top of the line before you get to big scopes that have to be installed by a technician.
There's a large variety of Zeiss scopes that were manufacturered on this side of the iron curtain, as you can see this is an East German piece. Pretty good condition, scratchy condenser optics but the objectives and eyepiece seem to be in great nick, from a quick inspection, and that's what matters. Eyepieces are 10×'s, Objectives are a 3.2 semiplanar, a 10, a 40 planar (which I think will get a lot of use), and a 100 oil immersion. Pretty normal setup.
I don't have slides and slips yet so I can't do a proper mount, but this is pretty promising for just sliding a sheet of paper into the slide holder. Proper mounting will improve the focus plane immensely. 32× and 100× so far.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The illumination is off-centre and uneven but that's resolvable and anyway it might be fun to move to LED. I also want to build some top illumination brackets for opaque subjects.
I had like. A kiddies toy microscope growing up and I got as far as trying to make it do darkfield with pieces of cardboard, but never something this professional, binocular optics is such a big step up on its own.
The only real issue I've seen so far is that the stage Z axis is very sloppy, huge backlash. Everything has been stuffed with new grease recently so at least it moves smoothly, old scopes and old typewriters both have a tendency to seize if they're forgotten for more than a few months at a time.
I'll swing by the lake and pick up some algae and protist samples later, and I need to order slides and slips. Also I can print some darkfield and oblique illumination filters.
Probably not going to fuck too much with oil immersion, but who knows, also I'll keep an eye out for water immersion objectives.
I think that with an appropriate head replacement and some filter hacking I could get phase contrast microscopy up and running, probably scavenging some Amplival parts. I'd need to see. I can definitely get fluorescence microscopy working with an illumination upgrade. It would also be nice to gut the electronics and put in a simple battery powered illumination system I can charge over USB so I don't have to rely on wall power. Even the stock tungsten lighting is only 5W at 6V so that's easy to swing.
Objectives are DIN 45mm I think, and it sounds like many Eastern Bloc microscopes use standardized head mounts. I'll also be able to print a lot of parts for this, but I'll probably want to get some black filament for optical reasons.
First I want to do some protist sketches, I picked up a protists book at a used bookstore a while ago and it got me really hyped to do protist watching. This is definitely at some level me trying to replace macroscopic wildlife spotting in my life.

STORY LURES KIDS TO NEW LEGO LINE\ THE TOYMAKER HOPES AN UNFOLDING STORY WILL LURE BOYS TO BIONICLE TOYS.
BY KRISSAH WILLIAMS The Washington Post Oct 28, 2001
Late last year, five Danish toy designers began to weave a tale of good and evil, creating the kind of heroes and bad guys that American boys love. They used the standard formula: exotic names, special powers, an unknown land.
They added easy-to-build action figures, trading cards, T-shirts, comic books and a soundtrack, as well as Internet, computer and video games. All to tell the story of Lego's Bionicle, which they hope will be the next cool toy line. Their plan is to create a popular story that reveals itself slowly, adding characters to keep the kids coming back for more, with toys cheap enough that parents keep buying.Bionicles also are the featured boys' toys in McDonalds Happy Meals through Sept. 27.
The toymaker is spending $15 million to get the word out about Bionicle, making it the biggest U.S. toy launch ever for the determinedly traditional 67-year-old company known for its classic plastic bricks.
Like much of the toy industry, Lego is financially ailing as more American boys ignore traditional toys in favor of video and computer games and television. Lego, the third-largest toy company in the United States behind Mattel Inc. and Hasbro Inc., lost money in 1998 and again last year, its only losses in decades. The company has watched revenue stall at about $1 billion.
To attract the been-there, done-that generation of American boys, Lego's designers and marketers are trying their darnedest to be cool, even aloof, almost teasing kids to get their attention.
In December, the first bit of information about Bionicle (from ``biological' and ``chronicle') was revealed on the company's Web site: ``Once a paradise, Mata Nui has become a place of darkness and fear, ruled by the deadly Makuta. Now six mighty heroes, the Toa, have come to gather the masks of power and challenge the Makuta. Explore the island ... learn the legends ... and begin to solve the mystery of Bionicle.'
It stopped there. But Lego's marketers hoped youngsters would be salivating for more.
About once a month, new chapters are added to the Web site, along with information about characters and the special masks. This summer, Lego mailed 1 million free comic books to Lego club members, giving details not available on the Web site.
In May and June, the Toa (hero) and Turaga (villager) building toys were released in the United States. The futuristic-looking figures stand about 7 inches tall and are assembled from plastic pieces that snap together Lego-style. The figures cost $2.99 to $6.99, although more-complex remote-control-operated figures will be priced as high as $69.99.
Now, information has been revealed about the bad guys, called Rahi, and other twists and turns are promised.
The Bionicle launch is based on the viral marketing strategy, which is the rage among manufacturers hoping to appeal to fad-prone American children and teens. Viral marketing works to create a buzz one customer at a time rather than relying on mass advertisements such as television commercials.
Lego's idea: Interest one kid in the Bionicle story, and that child will tell another and another. To find those kids, Lego sent out six sport-utility vehicles, each painted with one of the superheroes.
``In early June, 50 kids came up to the truck; just a few knew about Bionicle,' Gillespie said. ``Now, they are pulling up to places and kids are jumping in to tell the other kids about it.'
Seven-year-old Lucas McCoy, who has dropped Pokemon cards in favor of Bionicle, rambles on whimsically about the story line, the music and Mata Nui-Lego's online game, where players see from the perspective of Toa (the heroes) and try to save the island.
Taking a break from play with his Toa figures, Lucas, who lives in Bedford, Texas, talks nonstop for 20 minutes, pausing only to breathe. ``It was the time before time, when the world was new. There was this bad spirit that sent a spell on Mata Nui to sleep ... and I think their most greatest fear is sleep. It made these infected masks, and Makuta is the stone - well, I think Makuta is like a dinosaur.'
The characters' weapons (tools, in Lego's lingo), which include a pitchfork and a spear, don't seem to bother the parents.
Lucas's mom, Maria McCoy, said she and her husband play with their son and can ``see his little mind working.' His focus is on building, not violence, she said. ``It brings out his imaginative self.'
On the other hand, the Bionicle tie-in with a broad range of products can increase the pester pressure from kids, parents say. For instance, to see the paradise island before the darkness descended upon it, kids need the Nintendo Game Boy's Bionicle game, which sells for $39.99. To access screen savers and pictures on the Bionicle Web site, kids need to buy the Bionicle characters and access the codes on the toy canisters.
McCoy said she has kept a lid on Lucas's desire to buy all the products by insisting he use his allowance. ``He gets an allowance, and he can buy what he wants with it. I tell him, 'If you save your money, you can get the more pricey things,' ' McCoy said.
Traffic on Web sites and at toys stores indicates boys, teenage guys and longtime Lego fans are the biggest buyers of Bionicle. Lego officials say sales have surpassed their expectations, but they decline to release figures.
The toy's official Web site had almost 2 million hits in July. Bionicle fans also have responded to the company's create-your-own-site contest. Yahoo lists thousands of sites mentioning the toy line.
But Lego's leap away from its classic plastic brick sets hasn't won everybody over.
Spencer Tibbs, 12, of Warrenton, Va., said he can be more creative with older Lego sets, which he uses to build his own creations, such as a replica of his mom's office. He doesn't like sets that require directions.
``I should be more into that stuff (Bionicle), but I like the older stuff,' he said.
For Lego, the big question is: Are more American boys like Lucas McCoy or Spencer Tibbs?

Hi! I have this xenomorph plush I'm trying to find the manufacturer of. I ordered it online around the time AvP came out. It did not come with the Bieber hoodie. Since it was over a decade ago they very well may be out of business now, but I'm curious.
it was a Diamond Select Release for AvP movie!
Tumblr media

Unboxing the World's Smallest Malibu Barbie Dreamhouse
Tumblr media
The little girls are excited about decorating the World's Smallest Malibu Barbie Dreamhouse, based on the 1979 A-Frame Dreamhouse. Malibu Christie is taking a nap in the empty main room.
This morning we stopped at the local Ace Hardware, and I wandered off to the frivolous section while Dad was on one of those quests for the one exact size of a very specific piece of gear. Some canny merchandiser had decorated a fake Xmas tree with packages of World's Smallest products. I probably would have fallen for the World's Smallest Etch-A-Sketch if my gaze had not fallen on the World's Smallest Malibu House.
Tumblr media
The Malibu Dreamhouse is architecturally my favorite Barbie Dreamhouse, so resistance was futile. The package was marked $7.99, which seems reasonable (it turns out to be the standard price online); and given this year's Barbie Boom, it's unlikely to see significant late-season discounting. So home it came.
Tumblr media
The back printing was enough to sell me on the house!
While photographing the back, my phone triggered the QR code up at top left, which leads to the manufacturer's web site, a.k.a. the rabbitiest rabbit hole of dollhouse and fashion doll miniatures ever to rabbit. My wallet is making little whimpering noises at my even looking at it, but I've only bought the one, and it's rare we go to Ace more than twice a month.
Prying the clamshell apart didn't lead to loss of fingers or spilling of blood, so we'll call that a win.
Tumblr media
The house is incredibly cute in person, though its railings fall off if you look at them sideways. They snap right back on, though. Malibu Christie is mounted in her own little plastic cocoon.
The house is about 4.5 inches long, 3.5 inches high, and 1.5 inches deep. The stickers seem a little large for the rooms.
Tumblr media
Yeah, that furniture's a little tall! I don't intend to use the stickers anyway -- there has to be some sort of dollhouse or model train furniture that will fit this house.
Tumblr media
My phone camera said LOL NOPE to getting a clear photo of the micro doll. Toy Box Philosopher did a review of some of the other World's Smallest Barbie products and has clear pics.
Tumblr media
I love this house! The blue sky in the windows is printed.
Tumblr media
The skylights are open holes.
Tumblr media
The screening on the back is pretty epic. I expected that this would just be paper, but it's more solid and either a plastic or something laminated.
While picking it up to double-check this, I managed to pop off a balcony rail again (easily fixed) and lose Micro Malibu Christie (not easily fixed, and really annoying, as I keep my floor bare so a yellow swimsuit should show up!).
The little girls (and boy) are delighted with the dollhouse, and Teen Skipper is happy to have a break from reading stories!
