Headcanons for spending your birthday with Steve Harrington...

He's been planning your birthday for weeks. He booked the day off months in advance and has been saving up so that he can spoil you rotten.

He gets you some flashy items, jewellery, new bag, new shoes etc but he also gets you lots of little gifts which are smaller and less expensive but just as important. He gets you a fancy hardback copy of your favourite book, new pyjamas that can stay in his bedroom for when you stay over, a mixtape, framed photos of the two of you.

He's actually very good at picking gifts though if he ever gets stuck he'll ask Dustin for help. The last time he asked Dustin to help though he made Steve pay him five bucks for his help.

He's not the best at wrapping but with every passing year, he's getting better.

He writes you the sweetest card. It's gushy and soppy and tells you everything that he gets too clammed up about telling you face-to-face.

He wakes you up with breakfast in bed, cooked to perfection. Steve's a pretty good cook when left to his own devices.

He showers you in kisses and cuddles before you eat your breakfast.

He wants to make the day the best for you so he's a little on edge and nervous.

Next, he makes you close your eyes and he pours the gifts on the bed.

"Jesus Steve, there's so many! You shouldn't have!"

"Baby, nothing is too much for you."

You love all of the gifts but you love the card most of all. It's sweet and lovely and it makes you tear up and you just look at Steve and wrap him in the biggest cuddle ever.

"Do you like them?" He's nervous to find out the answer.

"I love them, Steve. Thank you."

After you've gotten ready, he'll take you out somewhere nice; drive you to the beach or drive to a nice city to walk around and enjoy the views. You spend the day together just exploring and taking pictures.

He takes you shopping and lets you have free reign. "Whatever you want, go and get it and I'll pay for it." Money isn't really an issue for Steve with his parents being rich, it helps that he's been working too so he's got a good chunk put aside especially for your birthday and Christmas.

You don't go too over the top with the spending though, just a few more things that you'd like or things you needed and that's you.

Later, he'll get you dinner and ice cream and then he'll take you home where you'll cuddle up watching movies in a nice candlelit room.

"Did you enjoy today? I just wanted to make you happy."

"Best birthday ever, Steve. I loved it. Thank you."

You end the night wrapped up in bed together, limbs entangled, before falling asleep.
