Just thinking about a version of the Blind Faith au where it's ford burning Stan's eyes so he can't see the eyes trying to take his brother and the 'eyes' taking Ford's voice so that the stan twins play their game without cheating. So this other voice which feels kinder, softer talks to Stanley about how they can fix them if they listen to the eyes and complete their game. Stan asks how they would fix him and his brother and they say they will take what is broken and fix it. So stan and ford complete the game by finding eachother and fall through a dimensional rift.

Only to find out stan doesn't have any eyes at all it's just smooth skin and ford doesn't have a mouth also just smooth skin. The voice comes back and stan yells that this wasn't part of the deal and that they were supposed to fix the issue.

And their only reply is

"I did your eyes and mouth were hurting you so I took them and fixed what was left you are better for it are you not?"

When I first got into Kirby, I didn't expect to like, actually get into it. I thought it'd be like any other hyperfixation I'd had up to that point, that it would go away within a few months and I'd never think about it again.

Given I was so deeply in denial, I didn't care about being fully accurate and had some stuff that was really goofy and/or underdeveloped and unexplained. Stuff I'd made up to just work for the limited time I would be there.

Still, I came up with a few headcanons that I got attached to, and when I started realizing this was here to stay, I still chose to be stubborn and had to work backwards to keep these stupid headcanons, but adapt them into something a bit more fitting and polished.

It led to some cool stuff, like for example, my orbs aren't very magical, this was something I had settled on early on. But after I got invested, I had to think about what that actually meant and the implications of it like, how can they do this without magic? And what about that? What about this canon thing, how do I explain it?

I found decent enough explanations for all of these. But as a result of my unserious beginnings and continued stubborness, now I get really embarrassed at the time to actually talk about my headcanons and the stuff I've come up with.

there are always several wizards rotating in my mind like a gas station hot dog rotisserie, but i gotta give a shoutout to @quiddie's laerryn coramar-seelie, certified toughest wizard in existence. what a woman.

i've actually played only one session as a spellcaster (a sorcerer) but my favorite of his spells is currently mage armor because he's a tabaxi so he just. puffs up his fur.

thanks! doing this idly has been teaching me a Lot about choreographing fight scenes in a comic, which hopefully i won't have to do something serious with any time soon haha. and what it's turned out for this AU is a bunch of people who are really desperate to never be hurt again get locked in an arms race to find a way to hurt other people that won't come around and get them eventually, which does justify the magic i think, but also it does push for the magic to also be completely brutal and the visual behavior of spirits and souls to be the same as, if not worse, than the regular body. tldr all the shit marik pulls in canon (especially the scarab hourglass) owns hard and i want in and also for it to be worse and more direct. i'm glad this has wider appeal than to just me lol. cheers!

I think even before I really became a full fledged tummy lover I've always thought that some people would be significantly happier if they just embraced being fat.

Like. My mom has been fat for my entire life- so at least 20 years. She has this pair of pants that she's had I'm pretty sure since before I was born that she calls her "goal pants." I tried them on once when I was 14 and they were already too small for me. And every time she brings them up I'm always like. Does this make you happy? Do you get any joy out of having a pair of pants in your closet that you have not been able to fit for at least 20 years? Don't you think you'd have a much healthier relationship with your body if you weren't always waiting for it to finally be a size 14 again??

Idk man I just wish it were easier for some people to come to terms with the fact that they are probably always going to be fat and that it's literally completely okay. I wish society at large was nicer to fat people so that it could be easier for everyone to just be happy with their body. I wish I knew how to explain to people I love that they don't need to be skinny
