#or maybe abyss and khaenria?

so fascinating to me that the gods viewed staying human for eternity to be a greater punishment than loosing most of your sentience and being turned into a monster
#Played some of the new quest today#Lore!!!#also just. Genshin’s whole thing on whether being human is our greatest strength or our greatest weakness is so delightful to me#Dain views all humanity as the opposite of dregs#he acknowledges that there are damaging parts of human nature (“but mortal arrogation never stops”)#but for him the concept of humanity is a power that all humans can draw on#I’ve always been curious abt Dain’s line in Travail “we will defy this world with a power from beyond”#who is we? The remaining survivors of Khaenria not with the abyss order?#The whole of humanity?#and what is the power from beyond? At what point is smth not native to Tevyat? Khaenria was supposedly separate from Tevyat#but still in like the same sphere#whereas the primordial one and the second who came were supposedly from outside Tevyat#but eventually became wholly tied with it#so is this power from Khaenrian?#And!! Khaenria is referred to both as quintessentially human (“the apple of humanity”) and as something separate from humanity#and so like? Is this power from beyond that we will defy this world with just. The tendencies of humans?#to explore and question and love and hate and connect? Because those are all things that are good at toppling existing structures#In contrasts to Dain’s view abt the power of humanity the gods view being human as a punishment#(the Gnosticism is showing)#Anyway maybe I’ll re-write this to be more comprehensible later#genshin spoilers#spoilers#genshin impact spoilers#Posts by me

ok so this came to me one evening but imagine. Kaeya is a descendant of khaenria and im going off the theory that it is the abyss one day he gets hit with an abyss mages magic and because of his ties to the abyss he transforms into something similar to childe only smaller. Kaey's in incredible pain, can't move, he's whimpering and chirping in disstress.
Childe is just wandering around and he hears the pained sounds. He folows the sound and sees this dark blue creature. Childe begins purring and rumbling to try and calm it down.
Once monster kaeya sees foul legacy he freaks out because while kaeya is large childe is much bigger. After seeing this fucken giant kaeya begins crying out of fear and the noises upset childe.
In his moth brain he comes up with a solution. Bring the creature to you! :) You always make thing better and you'll help this small one too. Childe picks kaeya up by the scruff with his theeth while kaeya is freaking the hell out and carries him out.
You were in your garden doin whatever when you hear something coming. Knowing it's childe you turn around and see him holding some kind of creature with his theeth. You tell him to put that down and come over to inspect the smaller creature.
Kaeya recognizes you and starts whining and crying because he won't be able to go home like this. After some time you notice some features (idk make smth up) and find out that it's kaeya.
Now you have two abyss monsters :D
In the begining kaeya constantly hides and doesn't want to go outside. Childe is always trying to get kaeya to come with him or just lay in the sun toghether. Eventualy childe manages to get kaeya to cuddle with him in front of a window. You come home find both of them curled up toghether, purring and warm. And everyone is happy :D
Then childe pulls you into the cuddlepile and you are smushed between them.
idk what this is but the idea of monster kaeya does things to me. And what's better that having one abyss baby? two of course!
I'd imagine abyss monster kaeya as something like a snow leopard but more monstery and maybe with wings.
ok i know this is a moth Childe blog but
Kaeya
hnnn
you have very good taste anon, i genuinely love this omg
i'm side-eyeing one of my mutuals rn like "you write this? this yours?" and i'm gonna take a leaf out of his book and put in ANGST AHAHHA
you say what's better than one abyss monster: two, right? wellllll in some ways YES, it's very fun to have both Kaeya and Childe with you- you get more snuggles, they're both very affectionate, they can keep each other company while you're gone, stuff like that
but it's also more tiring. like, SERIOUSLY more tiring. now you have another human-turned-abyss-monster to take care of, and while you certainly don't mind, having both Kaeya and Childe in the house at the same time PLUS your normal work can be extremely draining- i'd expect you to have at least one really bad mental breakdown from how much you're working
even BETTER is if you don't trust Kaeya. maybe you're just sus (hehe mongus) of him since the beginning or you dislike his flowery words and flirtatious nature- either way you're recoiling when you realize this new abyss monster is him and he's whining in grief because he wants your warm comfort, and Childe is chirping worriedly as he sees you hesitate. your heart is screaming at you to help, but your cynicism and distrust is urging you to run- what if it's a trap or a trick of some sort?
*taps table* i want more of this give me more of this hehe please please <33

So about the update...
There have been several speculations about the kingdom in the sky and the kingdom of darkness that's referred to in the cutscene at the beginning of every battle pass, and with the release of Enkanomiya, my remaining two braincells made some electricity and came up with a coherent thought.
The pearl
Tumblr media
The symbol of the Gnostic Hymn looks an awful lot like the genesis pearl that the heir from the kingdom in heaven was tasked to find.
Tumblr media
So this one is guarded by a snake (wow good job may who would've thought). This may lead to Orobashi who saved the people of Enkanomiya from the Dragonheir of the Depths. This Dragonheir is used to refer to the Bathysmal Vishaps in Enkanomiya. "Bathysmal" refers exclusively to something belonging of the deep sea (Note that the word used is Bathysmal and not Abysmal, indicating two distinct regions). So whether this snake is Orobashi or the Dragonheir is still unclear, but my guess is the Dragonheir since the events of Orobashi rescuing the people and bringing them to the surface are relatively recent (at least from my speculation).
The involvement of the Abyss
So we know that the abyss is clearly involved because of the Pyro lector. It was searching for a book which proved that Celestia came from someplace other than Teyvat and before that, it belonged to a single civilization. We'll come to that later. It calls Enkanomiya the land of sinners, which sounds oddly biblical for a nation who proudly calls itself a nation without gods. Khaenriah most definitely wasn't the first nation destroyed by Celestia, it's predecessors being Sal Vindagnyr and Tsurumi. The common thing between these two nations was that it was cause by a weapon or weapons which destroyed the let lines there and caused the climate to go into disarray. We don't know whether Enkanomiya was always in the state it is right now, requiring artificial modification to change the time of day, but it may be a possibility that Enkanomiya, like Khaenria, was destroyed for questioning the authority if the gods. Perhaps Khaenria was built by another group of people who fled Enkanomiya after it's destruction.
KFC windglider lore
Yeah this is definitely a bit of a stretch but this is what the windglider lore says:
Once upon a time, that world was ruled by dragons. But not the ones you hear about in stories. These were more akin to a cross between lizards and chickens. It might be hard for you to imagine it, Klee, but that was exactly what that world was like: fish-dragons lived in the oceans, and bird-dragons soared through the skies on wings that were super huge! They were powerful creatures, and so they looked down on all the other animals. In that world, they were rulers of all life. Later on, humans appeared in that world. No one knows how that happened. Maybe they came with the falling meteorites.
So that's the relevant part of the lore. I would like to draw your attention to the fish dragons living in the ocean, which may resemble the Bathysmal vishaps. I mean, they don't exactly look like the Durin/Dvalin-esque winged dragons who breathe fire. So maybe Enkanomiya is the remains of this civilization? Or a part of it? At least the sea part of it. Now these falling meteorites may be a reference to the wishing system. Yknow, those stars and all. Also when we're out of primogems, we can buy genesis crystals which could be fragments of the genesis pearl? Idk it's downright speculative from here on.
Primogems
Speaking of primogems, their description mentions them to be shining with the condensed hopes and dreams of universes that once were. And we wish with primogems. And we wish for characters. So maybe, Celestia were the ones who created humans in Teyvat? Which leads on to this insanely speculative theory I have which says that Celestia may be one of the projects launched in the Honkai universe to preserve humanity. Sigh this is too much work maybe I'll make another post about that theory.
Leaks utc:
Tumblr media
Also this is the leaked paid battle pass namecard so I'm pretty sure that the kingdom of darkness they refer to is Enkanomiya. I will go sleep after this.

I mean I can’t remember how to spell it but Kaeya is from khaenria(?) and the people from there are said to have turned into hilichurls so that would be really sad if so
Link to second post: The fluffy ver of Kaeya meeting hilichurl
Link to third post: Not so fluffy version of Kaeya meeting hilichurls
Khaenri’ah, so very close. The only reason I know how to spell it is because of the lore posts and how often I needed to type it haha.
BUT YES, I was talking about it and how I fully believe that Khaenri’ah’s citizens accidently took Khemia too far and transformed themselves into hilichurls. Which caused Celestia/Unknown God to get mad and throw Khaenri’ah into the sky. I have an entire lore post about it that I vaguely remember that’s linked to my masterlist.
I am in full conspiracy theory right now and take this with a grain of salt cause it’s my word vomiting. What if hilichurls are speaking Khaenri’ah language? Maybe that’s why Kaeya can understand and speak it. Which is a really sad thought by the way.
Okay okay, level with me here. I know I mentioned that I love the idea of Kaeya making friends with abyss mages and other monsters but in the actual story, that might not appear to make sense. During our first cutscene in the temple where we get Kaeya as a playable character and with Diluc, Kaeya seems pretty hostile towards the abyss mage right? But he knows Diluc is there so he can’t really be nice with the mage. Basically, I really love the idea of Khaenri’ah prince Kaeya making friends with Hilichurls and slimes (since slimes are usually seen with hilichurls). Perhaps the hilichurls we see in Teyvat aren’t exactly Khaenri’ah people but a product of them. Who knows? But they all speak the same language so that’s how Kaeya was able to communicate with them. During the poetry exchange commissions, they do seem pretty friendly and if you talk to them properly, they don’t attack you. Just dance.
I think it’s a really cute but really sad idea. Kaeya is being thrown into a world he doesn’t know and after seeing all his friends and people being transformed into monsters. Even with Diluc he’s still uncomfortable with everything so he find’s comfort in the hilichurls that speak his home language, even if it does remind him of bad memories.
