Die Turrican Orchestral Selections auf Kickstarter ist noch nicht komplett finanziert.

Der mittlerweile vierte Kickstarter von Chris Hülsbeck, dem Komponisten des Soundtracks von Turrican, neigt sich dem Ende zu. Bisher wurde das Ziel von 85.000 US-Dollar noch nicht erreicht. Doch es ist in greifbarer Nähe.

2012 startete Chris Hülsbeck mit der »Turrican Soundtrack Anthology« seine erste erfolgreiche Kickstarter-Kampagne. Daraufhin folgten eine Piano-Sammlung sowie das »Turrican 2 Live Orchestra Album«. Auch diese Projekte erreichten jeweils ihr Finanzierungsziel. Das neueste Unterfangen ist eine Sammlung von Liedern aller drei Turrican-Teile sowie ein Bonus Amiga-Album.

Offizieller Turrican-4-Soundtrack

Das »Turrican Orchestral Selections« genannte Album soll die berühmtesten Lieder der Spiele Turrican 1, 2 und 3 in einer neu aufgenommenen Orchestralversion mit einer Laufzeit von insgesamt einer Stunde beinhalten. Außerdem ist ein komplett neuer Soundtrack von Chris Hülsbeck im Stile der frühen 90er-Jahre Bestandteil der Musiksammlung.

Hülsbeck selbst bezeichnet diese Neukomposition als »virtuellen Turrican 4 Soundtrack«. Damit der sich auch entsprechend anhört, wird er mit dem klassischen Soundtool TFMX erstellt und mit original Amiga-Hardware aufgenommen. So hätte sich also die Musik von Turrican 4 angehört.

Der Kickstarter konnte bisher etwas mehr als 63.000 US-Dollar sammeln. Damit fehlen nur noch 22.000 Dollar um das angepeilte Ziel zu erreichen. Doch die Zeit wird knapp: In 5 Tagen, am 18. Juni, endet der Kickstarter.
