1) Tell us about your Tav! Name, class and subclass, race, pronouns. Do you have a headcanon for where they're from? Their family? Are they a Dark Urge? Or did you choose an Origin Character? Was it an easy decision?

Well, I've answered for the only character I've gotten through Act 1 with so far, so instead of Maya, you're getting Cat! Another repurposed OC and the one I've had the longest (about 11 years, since my teen years playing fallout 3). Catherine Nobilis, Wild Magic Half-Orc Barbarian, she/her trans lady, and my favorite bubblegum bruiser. She and Karlach are gonna get on like a house on fire.

Only child of James Nobilis, a wizard and alchemist of some renown, and Kadarith Thousand-Fist, an Orc shaman and alchemist some consider more talented than her husband. After meeting, they headed for Candlekeep, got close and eventually married on the way, and Cat was born and raised there. And proceeded to stick out like a sore thumb for the next couple decades or so before she headed out to do her own thing. Definitely more comfortable with a maul than a master thesis.

She's definitely not a Durge, she doesn't have that in her. She's a big softie despite any intimidating appearances (which she is Very Aware Of and tries to offset with the pink hair and fairly fluffy downtime clothes, and a very strict hygiene regiment, etc. Plus she does genuinely like it, even if she leans into it harder than she might otherwise.) And, again, she's a character I've had for a little over a decade, it was a pretty easy choice to drop her into the game.

20) How did you deal with The Artist - Oskar Fevras? Did you even encounter him?

She'll definitely be finding him, she's nosy and likes to wander. And, y'know, someone owning a person is one of the few times she's not gonna hesitate to throw her weight around and get a little scary to make sure he walks free. Usually she's a sweetheart and very agreeable, which means she's also absolutely gonna hand over the money for him to get home no question.

31) Does your Character have new or old phobias or superstitions that affect their story?

Old ones? Probably, but that's gonna come with actually playing the game and having a Think about it on my part. As far as new ones, she's done with squirmy things. No worms, no maggots, and absolutely no tadpoles, illithid or otherwise. Caterpillars and inchworms are on thin fuckin' ice. (Dream Visitor is gonna be beating their head against a wall trying to convince her to add any more than the one little bastard she doesn't wanna think about.)
