I have a grand total of two main headcanons for Crepus and I've gone and combined them into the ultimate headcanon, which is: Crepus was totally working with the Fatui and that's why he had a delusion (which he apparently had good control over) and he was hands down the most caring doting parent ever to Kaeya and Diluc.

That man was like Fatui Maes Hughes, the other operatives would scram everytime he got close. But there was no escaping the endless supply of pictures and the stories about his very dear sons. Scaramouche fears no mortal soul, but Celestia be damned he dreaded being in the general vicinity of Crepus Ragnvindr.

So I did a thing... And by thing I mean an origin comic for my dad Venti AU in which he takes both Kaeya and Diluc under his wing because the Ragnvindr bros are a package deal (and thus I may have killed Crepus 10 years earlier, sorry).

I loved playing with the colors and the bold areas all filled with black, I may try it again in the future...

Being the asshole

So last night we were playing a one-shot of a game called "Better Angels." The premise of this game is that the pageantry and general silliness of supervillains is a result of regular, not evil, people being possessed by demons. They realize they have these demons and need to keep them pacified I'm order to keep them from possessing someone really evil and so they hatch over the top, far-fetched schemes that have a low chance of actually harming anyone (check it out if you're so inclined, it's hilarious).

There's one guy in our group that nobody likes but the DM brought him in so we can't really say anything. He's really loud and a douchebag. The first thing he said on his first night playing with us was "My character's an Asshole so y'all are just gonna have to deal with it."

Last night this guy had seemed to grasp the concept, but his nature got in the way. He is immediately putting poison ivy powder in the water supply of mist fans at a parade and, on his next turn, using alchemy to turn the water on a parade float into horse semen (yes, you read that right.)

The problem with this is that it's supposed to be the demon that's evil, not the mortal. The player to your right plays your demon, and this guy's demon seemed to have more scruples than the guy he was posessing! Finally, as he yelled at our DM (who was another of our players since we were doing something different last night--so not the guy that brought this asshole around in the first place) because there was not a body of water close by to push the hapless water park employee, whom he'd attempted--and failed--to make a deal with and whose arm he had just turned into lead (he was trying to turn his clothes but rolled terribly) into so he would drown.

DM: (laughing) I asked what you were trying to do so I could work with you but you went ahead without explaining. You can't get mad at me because you rolled badly.

Douchebag: But we're in a water park!!!

DM: You attempted to do something and you failed. You'll have to try something else on your next turn.

DB: I turn the air around his head to gas!!!

DM: It's not your turn anymore.

DB: (gets even more agitated) This is bullshit!

Me (OOC): 🙄 Listen, you're missing the whole point! If you'd just listened to your demon in the first place the deal would have worked. You're supposed to be a good guy trying to avoid being too evil!

(Other players make sounds of agreement)

DM: You just don't seem to grasp the premise. (Points to sign behind him with guidelines, one of which says "don't be a dick," originally meant to apply to the demons)

DB: I'm doing just enough evil to prevent more evil!

Another player (we're all OOC at this point): No, you're being an asshole.

(Wild laughter from around the table)

DB: I'm not a bad guy! Just forget about the horse ej*culate!
