@austintrashman What do glasses/vision correction look like for the BYG aliens?

Along with laser eye surgery and contact lenses, there's various ways to fit glassware (or otherware) onto an alien's face. Also I included some image examples of non-vision correcting goggles for funsies.

The most accessible glassware option for nedal is to install a ring around the eye stalk and fit a removable lens in front of it. One or both eyes may need a correctional lens. Fancier designs fully enclose the eye in a case that can come in various fashionable colors or shapes.

Glasses for massakas are fit around the head with an elastic strap. They can be made fashionable with jingling and dangling tassels and bells hanging off the sides.

A harness is used to hold up correctional lenses for delorix. The harness pictured above is a basic plant leather strap with metal holding the lenses, but they can come other colors and with decorative elements.

The oldest glasses design for zrai were invented by nedal for the "uplifted" zrai living among them, worn by the female at the bottom of the above image. It stays put while the upper jaw opens and closes for speech or eating. Since zrai have no arms (or much any usable appendages) It's a fairly impractical design since it requires another helper to strap it on and off using the handle on the top of the head. This antique design is really only worn by mature females living closely with their harem of males who are available to assist putting them on and off, considered by them to be fancy vintage items. The male at the top of the image meanwhile, is wearing the more practical and modern design invented by zrai. They're metal glasses that attach via magnetic buttons installed onto the face. Only a flick of the tongue on either handle is needed to put them on or take them off.

Smazels have the most complex compound lenses for their compound eyes. Each glass monocle has over a hundred correctional lenses that are painstakingly fitted for the individual, especially if by hand. Because smazel vision isn't all that advanced to begin with, and because it's enough of a hassle to commission these, that smazels without easy access computers and item printers just go without, relying instead on smell and vibrations to walk and fly around.

Thin to remember about Marvel's lycanthropes is that Man-Wolf, Werewolf-By-Night, and Moon Wolf were all different characters. Think there might even be at least two Man-Wolf, not sure if Johnathan Jameson was the same character that fought a war in the Otherwar or not.

The Lynk&Co opens new Berlin Club as European presence grows

Lynk & Co’s newest location, the Berlin Club, opened its doors in the creative heart of Berlin. With this new Club, Lynk & Co is expanding its global presence and connecting with German customers in their own backyard. In fact, the Berlin Club will be the first permanent Lynk &Co location in Germany and the fourth Club in Europe, alongside the Amsterdam Club, Gothenburg Club, and Antwerp Club.

New Clubs for our new friends. The expansion of Lynk & Co’s retail presence goes hand-in-hand with the extraordinary growth of its membership community. The brand has exceeded its 2021 target of 9000 members and has welcomed 25,000 members (and counting)! These new members are also joined by strong interest from corporate fleets and B2B customers.

A different kind of clubbing Lynk &Co Clubs are a creative take on experiential retail: trading in pushy salespeople for a warm, no-pressure experience. Sure, you can test drive the 01 and sign up for a membership at the Club but gone are the days of car-centric showrooms. Lynk &Co Clubs offer up event spaces, flexible lounge areas, a coffee bar, and retail areas to showcase the Gear Collection, a selection of brands that share Lynk &Co’s values of sustainability, creativity, and community. Partners include local German brands like On Vacation Club, Otherware, GOT BAG, and Egal.

Lynk & Co has a pop-up location in Hamburg and one coming soon in Munich, but the Berlin Club will be the first permanent location in Germany—and the most unique. Every Lynk & Co Club is one-of-a-kind, and the Berlin Club is no exception. Located in the creative Mitte neighbourhood, the Berlin Club is a true gem that combines Berlin culture with an undeniable Lynk &Co vibe. Split between two floors and multiple distinct rooms, the Club is a versatile space that can accommodate DJ nights and parties just as well as coworking and cultural events.

After a successful collaboration with S-P-A-C-E Projects, creating the concept and design for the very first brandspace in Amsterdam, Lynk &Co called upon the design firm S-P-A-C-E Projects for Berlin. S-P-A-C-E projects enhanced the building’s existing architectural canvas—most notably in the Mirror Room, a meeting room encased in mirrors to highlight the heritage details and monumental character of the existing room. While staying faithful to the building’s unique architecture, the Berlin Club also shines with Lynk &Co whimsy: Berlin streetlights guiding the staircase, a chess-inspired bathroom, and a cobalt blue amphitheatre.

Pharrell Williams, the multifaceted artist who has designed sneakers and collaborated on residential developments, has now joined forces with Pentatonic to launch a dining toolkit. Developed in response to the increasing environmental threats caused by single-use plastic, the ‘pebble’ is a compact and portable set that includes a knife, fork, spoon, straw, and chopsticks. The case is made from recycled CDs, while the handles are derived from recycled food packaging.

Priced at $59 USD, the pebble weighs about the same as a smartphone and comes with a carabiner-style clip and lanyard for easy carrying. The case measures 105mm x 52mm x 54mm and the utensils are dishwasher safe.

Say goodbye to single-use with the Pebble. Wherever you go, you'll have a knife, fork, spoon, straw and chopsticks, all in a smart case to clip on your bag.
