This happens moments after Keith comes to the realization that he’s in love with her.

He’s so overcome with emotion all he can do is scoop her up in his arms and hold onto her so tight, he feels his heart might burst.

That just a few months prior he was so alone, so lost...then he found someone else who was alone too, that shared his uneasyness. It wasn’t long before they let down their walls and let all that worry and strife and fear flow out of them. They became friends. Soon they got closer and that’s when he realized.....

Also Marika calling her a singing bird is probably the most adorable thing, double cute points coming from a druid. And the fact that Karlach was just so fucking excited to wake up next to her that she had to run laps around camp about it.

The little "Wheyyy" at the end she's the best.

They didn't say 'I love you' at this point though. Marika is 123 years old, has spent most of it alone and this is her first relationship ever. She's not dropping the big L word just yet. (Please tell me I can say it to her later tho? Pls. I would scream it from the rooftops.)
