That was a blatant lie, anyone could figure out that there was something not okay about Victor’s current state. The fever, the fact that Matt could hear the wheeze down the hallway. However it wasn’t something he could easily bring up in conversation. 

“I won’t lie to you, whatever you have going on doesn’t sound fine to me. Maybe it wouldn’t hurt to get it checked out?” Matt offered. It wasn’t often that the tables turned and he found himself trying to care for Victor instead. “It’s just a thought.”
