Honestly all the shading and weathering on Vash's hand is fairly subtle and kinda hard to tell it's there unless you're up close but I think it really made a difference to help it not look so flat

Goldnova and Melbnova are my next ones! And I will probably do Sydnova and Brisnova too. I also want to do a NZ con this year, so stay tuned for that!

I often do Gamma (in Canberra) as wrll, one of my fave little cons 🥰

I'm not tabling at C4, Smash or Syd Ozcc, but I'll be attending in cosplay! I like having some cons just to hang out and wear my difficult cosplays (well ones that I want to show off and not hide behind a table).

I'm NSW based, so I go to most the sydney ones if I can :)

Had a blast at OZCC Sydney today!

Highlights were getting cool merch from an artist I follow, and meeting two really cool cosplayers in passing!

#they were dressed as party poison and kobra kid #oh and i got a print of mcr fanart #and a studio ghibli sticker sheet for my friend #and a gameboy #(that i have no games for yet)#and a print from an artist ive bought from in the past #and a beast ball sticker #and comics #and enjolras fanart for my sister #oh and the stuff i got from the person i follow were batboy keychains and a birdflash print!! @lightningstrikes-art here on tumblr :D

Heya! I’m tabling at Sydney Oz Comic Con this weekend!💕

I am honestly so excited, let me tell you 😵‍💫

Ok so 2018 I wanted to apply, but you needed an online portfolio and I didn’t have one ready, so made sure to get one ready for the next year.

2019, I applied, got in, but didn’t realise the dates clashed with a family holiday 😫 My partner was an angel and still ran the stall for me while I was away 🥹

2020 was cancelled because of the global panini, and 2021 was rocky because there were still a lot of rules for events, I was busy working and didn’t want to risk it.

2022 I applied, got in, I thought finally this is the year I get to go, but unfortunately got too sick from a previous convention and had to cancel my table 🤒😭 (curse you Crunchy Roll Expo! 💀)

So 2023 is the year!!! 🎉Finally!!! 🎉

I’ve heard good things about this con and I’m really looking forward to it! 💕💕 i’ve only done Canberra Oz Comic Con but Sydney keeps getting away from me until now 😅😅

Little adjustments like adding a bit of elastic at the bottom hem of the cargo pants leg really do a lot of weight in getting that right Vash cosplay look huh

#one leg done. will do the other one later.#the interior sealant for my prosthetic hand should be all dry now so time for more painting on that #and then paint the glove that it sits on top of #and then do this other pant leg #and then... deep resigned sigh... restyling the wig... i don't like wig/hair work but i gotta... 😒#trying to get as much done today because im going out tomorrow/sunday #and canberra ozcc is next saturday #so ive got 1 week to make all the above adjustments #before moving on to other stuff like the rest of the arm for sydney ozcc in september #anyway. off to do some painting.#actually no off to eat first I've barely eaten today #ramblings of a bystander #a bystander makes cosplay #trigun

I normally don’t post this stuff, but I’m way too excted about this, I was at OzComicCon in Sydney and we cosplayed for the first time ever! Shoutout to @nimehime for helping with our cosplays! I went as Haru Okumera and my bf went as Goro Akechi (look at him omg TTOTT) ^_^ These are pics taken at OzCC with my P5 squad + bonus Haru x Akechi beach pics!
