Can I just say that the while "K stands for Knickolas" is just so freaking funny with how it's just blasted out there, it was also just very sweet of when it happened??

Like, right before that Andhera admitted that he was faking his voice and just want to come clean about it. He was his sweet dork about it, but he wanted to be honest and tell his only secret that he kept from everyone.

Hobs is in a room where both of the Court of Wonders folk came out ("Binx is Gwen and and Gwen is Binx", Rue being an Owlbear). Then his newly formed best bud Andhera comes out with a secret of his own.

Regardless of how small or big it was, everyone else had as a form of trust shared a secret.

And what kind of secret does the straight-laced, honest, straight forward, cannot-deceive-at-all Hobs have that he never told anyone about?

The K in K.P. Hobs stands for Knickolas

andhera and binx are both deeply awkward people in an unfamiliar setting who put on masks to seem competent and suave and comfortable!! and they have both been learning to let that go, to be comfortable in their "comfortable self", as surena puts it!!! and it's scary and emotional and andhera panics to advisor and binx cries to rue but they're both doing it!

andhera lets his true voice slip into their letter to her!! andhera recognized them by their eyes in the maze and decided they were the one who was worthy! andhera cannot be charmed or magically compelled to love which means whatever they saw in binx in the hedge maze was real, not a spell or a trick!! he touched their hand- touch is the unseelie expression of love, comfort, companionship. they knew him by scent alone- binx's magic comes in tastes, sounds, every sense at once.

binx's mask falls away, not so much a decision they made as a decision they didn't make, when she reached the center of the maze without putting on her glamour. andhera speaks to hob candidly, happily, in their natural voice next episode. they are revealed together.

I had been subconsciously pleading for either Binx or Andhera to tell Hob and or Rue about the feelings they have for one another but I never thought it would happen as a means to maintain the melodrama, but of course it was the dearest of friends Binx who wants comradery and love and happiness for her family no matter what
