Are you turning Japanesa? I don’t think so! This, I believe is the ultimate Japan playlist. One of my favorite countries in the world to visit. it truly is a fascinating place in the world. Ciao, scusa il disturbo, leggo sempre con piacere i tuoi contenuti e vedo che sei una grande esperta di figure femminili della storia siciliana. Avevo visto con molto piacere un post su Aloisia de Luna, una figura che onestamente adoro e volevo farti alcune domande sul tema. Sto lavorando a una tesi sulla famiglia Salviati e in particolare il ramo di Jacopo di Giovanni e ricostruendo genealogicamente ho cercato informazioni su Luisa Salviati, moglie di Sigismondo de Luna, specie dopo il suicidio del marito dopo il caso Sciacca nel 1530... Immagino che con la morte del marito e accanto al suocero Giovanni, ebbe un ruolo importante nell'educazione dei tre figli e nel riottenimento dei domini a favore del primogenito Pietro/Pedro. Vorrei sapere se conosci qualcosa del suo "destino", la sua morte o il suo legame coi figli... E anche la vita dei figli Giulio e Giacomo che non ho trovato nominati granché. Scusa il disturbo. Carissima, ti ringrazio innanzitutto per la fiducia e per l’esperta XD (cerco solo di dare un senso alla mia laurea orz) Purtroppo non ho trovato quasi nulla su Luisa Salviati (avevo già pensato a suo tempo di scrivere una mini biografia, ma mi sono dovuta arrendere di fronte alla quasi nulla quantità di materiale).

Non aiuta inoltre il fatto che, in alcune fonti, è chiamata Lucrezia e non Luisa orz

“Nel maggio 1520 Gianvincenzo de Luna chiese ed ottenne dal Viceré l'autorizzazione di recarsi a Roma, presso il Papa, con un seguito di venti cavalcature fra cavalli e muli;220 scopo del viaggio era quello di stringere vincoli matrimoniali tra il suo figliolo primogenito Sigismondo e Luisa Salviati, figlia del fiorentino Jacopo Salviati e di Lucrezia De Medici, nipote dell'allora pontefice Leone X (1513-1521) e sorella del cardinale Giulio de Medici, che qualche anno dopo divenne papa col nome di Clemente VII (1523- 1534). Il contratto matrimoniale fra i due promessi sposi fu stipulato in Roma il 14/12/1520 e, sempre a Roma, il 20/3/1521 Gianvincenzo assegnò a Sigismondo una rendita annua di 500 onze in denaro, 40 salme di frumento e 12 botti di vino. La dote della Salviati ammontava invece a 10.000 ducati. Le nozze si celebrarono con gran pompa a Roma nel 1523 (in quell'occasione, certamente a torto, si disse che Gianvincenzo de Luna cedette al figlio il titolo di conte di Caltabellotta); gli sposi, dopo le festose accoglienze ricevute a Messina, si ritirarono a vivere nei loro palazzi di Caltabellotta e Sciacca.”

Oltre a ciò, ho trovato che accompagnò (assieme ai figli) il marito nella fuga a Roma per chiedere l’intercessione dello zio Clemente VII presso Carlo V. A seguito del suicidio del marito, si mostrò disperata (Savasta ce la descrive come una moglie innamorata). Nonostante la rabbia iniziale, l’imperatore graziò i figli perchè piccoli e ritenuti innocenti delle malefatte del padre (e del nonno “istigatore). La clausola per riottenere titoli/beni fu che la vedova Perollo dovesse essere risarcita dei danni. Giovanni De Luna venne in seguito rilasciato dalla prigione e, spogliato personalmente dei beni, venne però nominato “curatorio nomine” dei nipoti. Che il vecchio De Luna e la nuora abbiano lavorato in tandem per il bene del futuro della casata lo possiamo supporre, ma non è specificato. Buio totale (almeno per me al momento) sulla data di morte di Luisa e sul destino di Giulio e Giacomo (che alcune fonti non citano proprio e danno ad intendere che Pietro sia figlio unico).

Spero di essere stata di qualche aiuto. Mi impegno a cercare altro (lo faccio anche per curiosità personale) e, nel caso d nuove, ti aggiornerò!
