All have been blocked. I’m torn about this one though: Genital Me

I’m thinking of that one in terms of a verb and a new way to alert the hubs to sexy time. I imagine whispering in his ear “Hey Babe, genital me.”

That would work right?! Guys?

At work so I can’t be profound rn but I don’t think this is “something negligible.” This is something that could change things in your life or it could not. It’s an unpredictable future, and it’s normal to be nervous or scared about it in my opinion. Take a moment to breathe and process. We care about you Hypaa. — 💕

My life being unpredictable has been going on for so long that it drives me nuts 😭 Like I can never feel comfortable because there’s something around the corner to rip the rug out from under me or something. And when I get into a very bad brain space i just spiral about shit I can do nothing about it aren’t even that deep. I hate that for me. 🥲

oh my god, now those p0rnbots have started commenting on posts, this is out of control

I keep seeing posts, from people I respected even, going across my dash that feed into the scaremongering about tumblr, and I’m breaking my few-days-long quiet to be annoyed about this because:

1) The app is still available in google play, jfc. It takes about a second of research to confirm this. It disappeared from the Apple store because the p0rnbots got way out of control, as we all know.

2) Staff is not “deleting blogs left and right”. Give the matter a little thought and you’ll realize that the only way staff is gonna have the slightest chance of keeping up with deleting the bots is to use algorithms to locate and delete the bot blogs. Some legitimate blogs are going to get caught in the crossfire. If you don’t post illegal shit, you can contact staff to get your account restored.

3) A lot of the people I see doing this scaremongering follow all of their misinformation up with things like “anyway find me on twitter because it’s obvious tumblr doesn’t give a shit about its users” and I’m like... riiiiiight... twitter... Twitter, the site that’s still apparently planning to remove the ability to like tweets, despite the fact that everyone hates the idea. Yeah that sounds so much better. (Obviously this might not happen, and I hope it doesn’t, but this is just to make the point that claiming twitter is so much more caring and pleasant of a place to be is pure rot)

4) You can just not like tumblr. Tumblr is a horribly toxic site and that’s entirely fair. It’s especially bad for artists. But scaremongering is just trashy.

I know this has been going around a lot, but if you’re someone who will be personally affected by tumblr’s “solution” to the p0rnbot and CP problems, then you should really check out Pillowfort! (Also, so I don’t get fucking flamed, a solution to those problems would be lovely if it wasn’t THIS “solution.” How about do a better job and don’t wait until it’s out of your control, tumblr.) I just got my invite and made my blog today, so there’s really nothing there yet and the communities are small. I know it’s a bit unappealing that there is a sign up fee, but it’s a one time payment (you can make monthly--I think--payments if you want to help make the platform better faster) and you have full access to the site! It’s only USD $5 for access to a website that thrives on actually listening to its users. I like what I’ve seen thus far, and I did read through pretty much all their TOS before I decided to join so I was sure that they were inclusive and not like post-Yahoo tumblr. 

Anywho, if you’re so inclined, you should visit pillowfort.io and there will be instructions on the page (if not, just find the Sign Up button). You’ll have to click the link for their PayPal to send them the $5, and then you’ll receive an invitation on the following Friday. I’m on there as shizu-chan for any mutuals who would like to continue following each other~ I’m not completely abandoning tumblr (yet), but I’m keeping my options open, especially for my favorite blogs who are definitely classified as adult. (Btw I’ll be tagging a bunch of unrelated tags--at least, as many as I can think of off the top of my head--so that this will reach the widest audience possible, but I also got bored part way through. So feel free to do the same if you choose to reblog this, which you should. Lol)
