Zuko opened his eyes as soon as he felt her fingers on him. A familiar sense of coolness underneath the warmth of her skin. Even without seeing her face, he would know her. As an enemy, her hands were deadly and unyielding. But as an ally, they were merciful. 

He often wondered if their souls were intertwined. How else would one explain this sense of connection? Of always meeting each other in every corner of the world, no matter what mask they wear or disguise they don? He closed his eyes then leaned in.

Okay hear me out: I know there’s a raging war within the fandom but I’m on the Zutara side on this one blblblbl (that being said I’m not hating on any other ships and respect the canon one ; the beauty of fandoms is that we can multiship too).

Anyway, it would have been legit to put Oma and Shu on the Lovers card – which I considered briefly. But then I remembered that I was doing this tarot for myself in the first place, and that it was time to indulge my raging simping krkrkr.

I wanted to give a composition similar to the yin-yang idea. And give them a very soft, emotional vibe, with fingers interlacing and such. Not gonna lie, I’m definitely not the best drawing ship, but I’m rather satisfied with this fanart!

Finished the hat but still trying to figure out how I want to attach the veil. If you wanna know how I finished the edge of the hat I did a quick write up below ^^

Hat write up:

Supplies:

- white double fold bias tape (1/2" wide)

- paint

- embroidery needle and hemp thread

- hot glue

- heatproof gloves

- modge podge

1. Glue the middle fold of bias tape to the exposed foam edge of the hat.

2. Fold over the top and bottom of the bias tape and glue it down.

3. Paint the bias tape and wait to dry

4. Take thick thread and whip stitch around the bias tape and hat.

5. Paint 2 coats of modge podge over the holes made by the sewing needle. Dried bamboo leaves are quite brittle so this is an attempt to keep the leaves from ripping or breaking off.

Overall I only spent about $7.00 (for thr bag of bamboo leaves) to make this project since I tried to use as much as I can from my own supplies and surplus items from previous projects.
