Mark: Hi, it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation and we’re here with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV in Vancouver. We’re talking about a customer who had some issues or had an incredible experience with some travel. Is that how that worked Dave?
Dave: Happy Tuesday Mark. Yeah, they had some issues and a quick phone call to me about 15 minutes and we were able to resolve their issues. I got a call on Saturday morning from a customer in Whistler, they actually live in Vancouver but they go to Whistler on a regular basis and they take their Pangaea TV with them. They’d gone out skiing and some ski lessons and their two daughters were not feeling very well so they decided that they would end the ski lessons and head back to their place in Whistler. Her daughter who is eleven just finished the Little House on the Prairie series and knows of the TV show from the ’70’s and was excited to watch the series, now that she’s finished the books and when they searched for it on their Pangaea TV they weren’t getting anything. It wasn’t coming up and I said well that doesn’t sound right, because I know it’s there. And we quickly figured out that they had not updated the Pangaea TV in quite a while and so I walked them through the process of updating their Pangaea and once they were all done, it was thumbs up. They were actually able to watch all the seasons of Little House on the Prairie and her daughter was very excited because she was on the couch with some hot soup and she was very happy to be watching the first episode of Little House on the Prairie on their Pangaea box.
So I took a situation that wasn’t ideal and we updated their media box and sure enough it worked.
Mark: So if you want an experience of being able to travel with your TV, get your entertainment, get all the kinds of entertainment you want in sports, you name it - old TV shows even - Pangaea TV is the answer. Give Dave a call, you can reach him at 1-844-202-2727 or check out the website freemytv.ca. Thanks Dave

Dave weighs in on Netflix moves to stop people watching US TV in Canada.
Mark: Hi, it Mark from Top Local Lead Generation and we’re here with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV, they sell the Pangaea TV streaming media device in North America. How’re you doing today Dave?
 Dave: Happy Tuesday Mark.
Mark: So Netflix in Canada has just announced that there will be no more VPNS - they are gone. What’s a VPN?
Dave: Well, VPN stands for Virtual Private Network and they announced last week that they’re going to start targeting VPN services - VPN and Proxy Services that over a million Canadians subscribe to which allows them to gain access. So in this instance, when they log into their account, it makes it look like they’re coming from a US IP address and doing so allows them to gain access to a lot of the content that Netflix Canada currently doesn’t have access to because of outdated licensing  laws. And so, there is well over a million Canadians who have a Netflix account that currently access US Netflix and ultimately it’s going to lead to a lot of unhappy Canadians and at the end of the day, it probably won’t work.
Mark: So how are they going to be able to track all these VPNS and proxies?
Dave: Well, they’re going to target the service providers that are offering the service to not just Canadians, but people around the world. Who will be left with a less than ideal, in this case, Netflix experience because of licensing  of content rules, that they are forced to use technology and the internet to circumvent the blocks that are put in place by Netflix. Netflix has known about this, they’ve know about this since it started. There was an article last summer that they knew full well about it and they didn’t care. They don’t care about it, they’re still making their $8 bucks or $9 bucks a month. And ultimately, their goal is that they get bigger and bigger they can pressure the old school studios and the old school business, big business people out there to really examine the way that they license and put shows out to various countries, because at the end of the day, the internet is, is open. Put your show out there, make it available for everybody and so Netflix doesn’t have to try to block and restrict people. When you get a show, it should just be on Netflix World and anybody should be able to watch it. And so ultimately, that’s where they’re going with this and I think it’s going to fail. I actually know it’s going to fail.  It won’t work.
Mark:  Well it’s got to be like millions of proxies and VPNS and thousands of providers and they can just switch them.
Dave: Exactly, they just come up with a new IP block and they’re away to the races. So ultimately what it’s doing, it’s going to push, in this case, Canadians to start jumping through a few more hoops. Maybe not directly, you know, they might have to go from one VPN service to another. They’re very inexpensive, the VPN service - you can find free ones out there and then they range from maybe $3, 4 to maybe under $10 bucks a month. So they’re very inexpensive and the amount of content that the Canadians get via Netflix is really night and day. It’s about 80% more content that you get from US Netflix
than you can get in Canada. Ultimately it’s Netflix trying to bide some time, I think. You know, they’re growing, they are getting so big and at some point in time they’re going to continue on how to write the rules on how this all plays out. And as more and more of the cable providers here in Canada continue to bleed subscribers, the real pressure is coming from the cable providers. The Bells, the Rogers and the Shaws are trying to push this on Netflix and frankly Netflix just doesn’t care.
Mark: Or there’s another option which you provide. So how does Pangaea TV work differently in this regard?
Dave: Well, all the content that we watch currently whether it’s a traditional TV show or whether it’s a Netflix series, whether it’s a first run movie or your favourite hockey team, it’s all streaming on the internet. It’s been streaming on the internet for years. And with Pangaea TV and the configuration I make it easy for you to get all your content in one spot. No VPNing, no having to jump through hoops - you want to go and watch the hockey game - you can watch the hockey game - you want to go watch a movie - you can watch a movie.
I was talking to a customer today, a brand new customer and we just playing around and I said “well, think of a movie” - and she said “Sound of Music”. And we went and searched for Sound of Music and had it up and with a couple clicks we had the Sound of Music playing. And it was’t just the Sound of Music, it was the Sound of Music musical and it was the Sound of Music remake, and it was the documentary of the untold story of the Sound of Music. So she had access to all these things related to the Sound of Music that frankly, traditional cable and Netflix and those other providers can’t give anybody because of various reasons. With the Pangaea TV you get access to all this content because it’s on the internet and it’s available.
Mark: So if you’re looking to make your hills come alive with the sound of music, give Dave a call. You can reach him at freemytv.ca - check out his website, lots of great reviews, details about all the devices that he sells and/or give him a phone call 1-844-202-2727. Thanks Dave

Helping a frustrated customer get good streaming entertainment.
Mark: Hi, it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation and we’re here with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV, they are the purveyors, providers of the Pangaea TV, the premium streaming media device available in North America. How’re you doing today Dave?
Dave: Happy Monday Mark, I’m doing great, thanks
Mark: So you had a frustrated customer who wasn’t getting good streaming. So what is good streaming? What does that look like? What is involved in getting good streaming?
Dave: Well for my customers it’s actually having a solution that doesn’t force them to hunt for their shows and TV shows. Ultimately, it’s one click and you’re watching solution. That’s not always the case, but for my customers that’s the ability to find what you want in a matter of seconds, not a matter of minutes or hours and be streaming and hopefully buffer free.
This customer of about 8 months now, and never heard from them, everything was great and they contacted me over the Christmas break a little frustrated, but they were trying, trying to watch a Star Wars movie and for whatever reason, they couldn’t get it to work, it literally took them a few hours because it kept pausing and buffering every couple minutes. So he called me to ask me if that was normal and I said no, not at all, and so we looked at a few things. First thing I did was help him update the box, so it was up to date, and from there we did some testing and I decided, ok let’s reset the router because it just wasn’t working. It was working for me on my end, but wasn’t working for him so one of the go to’s I have is to restart the router. And it came back up after a couple minutes and everything seemed to be good and so we ended the phone call, about a 15 minute phone call and that was where I left it.
And then a few days later I got another call or rather a text from him and he was extremely frustrated because nothing was working. This wasn’t the case for him, everything had been working for him up to that point for the most part and actually did a FaceTime video this time so I could actually see what was happening on his Pangaea TV and yeah nothing was working. We ran it parallel, I was looking for the same show, same episode, same source, it was working for me but it wasn’t working for him. And at that point in time, he let me know that even his Netflix and his internet in the house wasn’t working very well as well. And I said, well it would of been nice to have known that. And it got me thinking a few months ago I actually reset my router, I didn’t just reboot my router, I actually did a factory reset and it cleaned up a few issues for me and I suggested he get in touch with his provider and trouble shoot with them and maybe request a walk through to factory reset their modem router and that’s where I left it. About 1/2 hour later I got a call from him and he apologized for taking up all my time but he was very happy because his Pangaea TV was working like it had been previous.
So some advice to people out there if you are struggling with some streams no working I recommend either rebooting your router and if it still doesn’t resolve the issue, do a factory reset, and I bet you dollars to doughnuts it’ll help.
Mark: So not the Pangaea’s fault, it’s the connection from the internet service provider that can in some rare cases, cause a lot of issues with how good your stream is.
Dave: Yeah, well actually what it is, a router modem is just a little computer and like anything it can get bogged down with just cache and just bad information and so like I said I recommend you restart a computer every once in a while, you restart your streaming media box once in a while. It’s good actually to restart and actually reset your modem from time to time, it will clean things up and make it better.
Mark: There you go. If you are looking for premium, expert help and have your streaming media experience be top notch and the content you want there, when you want it, the Pangaea TV is the best solution for you. Give Dave a call 1-844-202-2727 or check out the website - freemytv.ca. Thanks Dave

Mark: Hi, it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation and we’re here with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV talking about a Christmas party. He’s in full regalia today. How’re you doing Dave?
Dave: Happy Wednesday Mark, and Merry Christmas
Mark: So you had a bit of a Christmas party last night, how’d that go?
Dave: Yeah, we had a little gathering of some people over last night, about 45 people with their kids and so the house was fairly full and it was actually an interesting evening where the topic of Pangaea TV came up and for most people they had never heard of anything like it and so when we started showing it off, people were very impressed. The night actually started when people were arriving, my sons were actually putting on some Christmas cartoons - so we had Frosty the Snowman and How The Grinch Stole Christmas were playing back to back and as more and more people arrived, my son had a plan to move the older kids down into another room so they could watch older movies. yeah it was great, all the kids were excited and they ended up watching one of the newer released movies on one of the boxes in one of the rooms and as I was showing the box to a couple dads, a little girl came up and it was kinda cool because she said can you put on My Little Pony? - which is not a Christmas one and I said to the dads, “this would be a good test.”  So I quickly typed in My Little Pony and sure enough I got about four or five different shows or versions of the show and then within a couple clicks she was able to watch one of the episodes of My Little Pony. And so it trumped us being able to put on the hockey game but that’s alright I had to make her happy so she watched My Little Pony. It was a good night.
Mark: Awesome. So if you are looking for all the media that you could possibly want, all your TV shows, sports, movies, music - on and on from all over the world - Free My TV provides the Pangaea TV box. It’s the premium streaming media device available in North America. Get a hold of Dave at freemytv.ca or give him a call 1-844-202-2727. Merry Christmas

Mark: Hi, it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation and we’re here pre-Christmas with Mr. Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV, streaming media devices. How’re you doing today Dave?
Dave: Happy Star Wars Monday Mark!
Mark: So I guess you’re going to Star Wars with a whole crew of young fellows, is that right?
Dave: Yes, 10 of us going in the next three hours and excitement is well, that’s an understatement, we’re all very excited to go see this movie.
Mark: So I guess today, we’re talking about an installation that you just did this morning with a customer, is that right?
Dave: Yeah, I was out in Pitt Meadows this morning to do an install for a long standing customer and she wanted to update, her kids are away for the next few days with their dad and she wants to surprise them with a brand new streaming media player in the living room. So she called me out and I set them up with a brand new Pangaea Nuc and gave her a tutorial while I was there and to show her the new interface cause she was on a much older streaming media player. So the experience is significantly enhanced the Pangaea TV Nuc and we spent a little bit of time going through everything. She actually mentioned, being Christmastime, that her favourite Christmas cartoon was Twas The Night Before Christmas from 1974 and for the last few years she’s had to put it on DVD for her to watch with her kids and she’s lost the DVD since she’s recently moved. But within a couple of clicks, I had it up and streaming on her 55 inch TV through a Pangaea Nuc. So she was very excited so when her kids get back she’ll be able to show them Twas The Night Before Christmas this year.
 Mark: Awesome.
Dave: Yeah, it was pretty much a straight forward install. I also gave her an Amazon Fire Stick, which we put up in her daughter’s room. Her daughter is a huge fan of the show Supernatural and so with the Amazon Fire Stick, she’ll be able to stream all those episodes in her bedroom when she’s done her homework. that was one of the rules, she has to do her homework before she starts streaming her shows.
So there you have it, another successful installation.
Mark: So if you’re looking for a streaming media device that gives you easy access to all the movies, sports,  TV, music, kids shows and on and on - all of the content, content from all the other countries, pretty much all the countries in the world, streaming media through the Free My TV Pangaea TV streaming media device is unparalleled. Check it out at freemytv.ca or give Dave a call 1-844-202-2727. Thanks
 Dave: Thanks Mark

Mark: Hi it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation; we’re here with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV, premium streaming media devices in Vancouver. How’re you doing today Dave?
 Dave: Happy Thursday Mark.
Mark:  So it’s starting to snow a little bit where I am and we’re going to talk about the difference between OpenElec which is a Linux version and Android.  What’s the difference?
Dave: Well there are significant differences but there’s also some similarities.  They both, they both run Kodi, they both run Kodi which is software that people use to stream their content.  What I’ve been noticing tho is that, it’s been for the last couple weeks especially on Twitter where you’re seeing people that are huge champions of the Android operating system and Kodi are now starting to talk a little bit about OpenElec more and I’ve been using OpenElec now for well over a year on all my Pangaea TV’s just because for me it’s much more stable, it’s easier for my customers to update and back up and it’s just an overall smaller operating system where Android is you know, it’s not as robust as windows but it’s, it’s, there’s a lot, there’s a lot of fluff in Android which slows it down and so I am noticing more and more people on Twitter talking who were champions of Android now talking about you know, this OpenElec thing seems to be pretty darn good and I’ve mentioned before that I’m a part of this Facebook Android support group and on Tuesday I also noticed that a few of the moderators, or the guru’s in the group are now pitching you know,  the option to update your Android box so that it has OpenElec on it and so I thought to myself well it might be a good time to start talking about, about you know, talk about this and the fact that, you know maybe Androids you know, this may be the start of the decline of Android’s media players, it’s not going to be a fast decline but perhaps as more and more of these Android box sellers realize that you really, they’re really kind of dealing with you know, a weaker product when it comes to the customer overall experience that it might be, they might be moving towards OpenElec which I’ve been championing now for well over a year and I think it’s the much better platform for running Kodi.
Mark:  So as far as the difference when someone is actually using their device, is Android a little bit more difficult in terms of maintenance and in terms of performance, performance over time compared to OpenElec?
Dave:  Um, the, when it comes to what you can get on OpenElec version of Kodi versus an Android version of Kodi it’s going to be roughly the same.  What you’re probably going to see is it does take more time to maintain an Android experience, updating your Android experience typically takes more work, it requires in many cases you know, an outside external storage device which needs to be plugged into the box, you need to move files, you need to update firmware and that’s just to update the versions of the Kodi software where OpenElec it’s all done through an easy to use wizard that I have for my customers and so it’s definitely getting you know, making it an easier process for customers and I think that you know, that for people who don’t know, Android, like I say it’s great, it’s awesome but when you see the OpenElec experience its, many of my customers say wow it’s night and day.
Mark:  So the OpenElec process would this be fair, it’s a lot closer to using your cable box than with a few more you know, there’s a few more steps but it’s a lot closer to that than Android is?
Dave:  Definitely, OpenElec is much closer to the cable box experience where the cable box experience kind of updates itself with by being pushed, software being pushed how, saying that the cable boxes don’t get updated very often whereas with the streaming software it needs to be updated on a regular basis because there’s so many different add-ons and so many things changing and so the idea there is you want it to be an easy process to keep it up to date.  OpenElec there’s no comparison; OpenElec is where you want to be, it’s literally a couple clicks with my Pangaea TV, a couple clicks and you’re getting the latest version of all the software and everything; with Android it’s not like that, it’s multiple clicks, right multiple clicks.
Mark:  So if you want the easy to use, easy to maintain software experience of OpenElec get a Pangaea TV from Free My TV.  You can reach Dave at freemytv.ca or give him a call at 1-844-202-2727.  Thanks Dave.
Dave:  Thanks Mark

Mark: Hi it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation, we’re here with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV, streaming media players, extraordinaire in Vancouver. How’re you doing today Dave?
 Dave: Happy Tuesday Mark.
Mark: So you have a little story about how much money a streaming media device can save.
Dave:  Yeah, this is a something that’s been in the works for the last couple weeks and finally happened yesterday.  I was contacted by a property manager into cut the cable for a house in Vancouver and they have two tenants, someone living upstairs and someone living downstairs and the owner who lives in Alberta is looking for ways to streamline and save some money and one of the ways is to cut the cable.  It just so happens that these two people, these two families living in this one place were sharing a fully rich kind of cable package but they had one kind of, it’s one package so the PVR, the family downstairs would record shows and then the family upstairs would delete the shows thinking that the kids recorded the shows and so it’s kind of like a nightmare for them, so I went to the houses yesterday and installed two Pangaea TV’s, started upstairs with the young family and walked them through the whole process, took about 30, 40 minutes then went downstairs and set up the family downstairs with a Pangaea TV, again sat with them 30, 40 minutes and walked them through the entire process and let them you know, let them be and then this morning I followed up with both through text messaging and they’re both very happy.  The one families son was watching a Lego Ninjago TV show and the other mom downstairs was, had been searching for a bunch of movies; her husband loves war movies and she was having a hard time finding a war movie and I quickly told her how to find it and she had it up within maybe a minute and so when her husband gets home from work today she’s going to have it all teed up and ready to go.  So two new families with Pangaea TV’s and the owner of the property is going to be saving over $2,500 without having to have a cable subscription, so he’s very happy as well, so he’s making money and his tenants have more content than they can imagine.
Mark:  So if you’re looking for a device that’s going to save you some money and give you access to all the content you could ever want, it’s easy to use, it’s easy to update, a lot of these devices aren’t, this is different, kind of amazing, unique to Free My TV, unique to Pangaea TV streaming channels that nobody else has, this is the device to get – freemytv.ca or give Dave a call 1-844-202-2727.  Thanks Dave.

Mark: Hi it Mark from Top Local Lead Generation and we’re here to day with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV in Vancouver. How are you doing today Dave?
 Dave: Happy Tuesday Mark.
Mark: So we’re talking about android boxes and maybe some misrepresentation that’s happening in the market.  What’s the story?
Dave: Well I got a call from a, someone looking for streaming media boxes, he actually wasn’t in the market for a streaming media box but he had met this guy who was starting this android box out of California and this guy just got the Canadian license for selling this box in Canada and he was told in the presentation that, you know this is different from any other android box and it’s got the proprietary solution and you know it’s going to be the biggest selling box in North America and when you start asking this guy some questions he was kind of left with not a lot of answers and so he was chatting with me, he found me and he was chatting with me about my Pangaea Nuc and he had some specific questions about you know especially 4K video because he just purchased a brand spanking new 4K TV with all the latest ports and things like that and I assured him that the Pangaea Nuc could support that but we kind of went back and we’re talking about the android box for a few minutes because you know, just understanding what his requirements were and you know, and I said what do you mean they would use, they were telling you they had this unique android experience like no one else has it and I said if it’s just android, it’s just android and he goes well I don’t know, let me send you some information.  So he sent me over the spec sheets and some images and stuff and all it is, I saw the box right away and I think to myself I’ve seen this box all over the place. It’s a standard android box you can get out of China for $45 US and the only difference is they have their logo and their branding on it but it’s the exact same box, same display on the front, same ports on the back and I’m thinking to myself they’re selling this for over $200 and so I went, when I looked at the spec sheet and they had images of the android experience the guy, it was just exactly android and so said to the guy, I think he was trying to play you a little bit because there’s nothing unique about this device and here you go and I sent him, I sent him an image of the box you can get and sure enough dollars to donuts they’re exactly the same hardware, even the specs on the box were the spec that I sent him so there’s nothing unique about it and one of the things that this gentleman mentioned to me is that this guy was looking at it, he had a 2 year plan and that he was going to be out in 2 years after selling thousands and thousands of android streaming media players and that was sort of his short term plan and I assured this guy that for me you know, when customers buy from me, not only do I ship within 24 hours but you know, I make it so that it’s a unique experience.  I do have actually a solution that no other streaming media box seller has when it comes to exclusive add on’s and just the overall customer experience and I’m happy to report that this gentleman purchased a Pangaea Nuc and I threw in an Amazon Fire Stick as well on top of that for his secondary TV and so you know, I have a new customer who’s streaming away with a much better streaming media player.
Mark: So there you have it.  If you’re looking for a reliable source for your streaming media experience that’s backed up with customer service that’s always on call, you know texting they will walk you through it multiple times; he will make sure that you have a unique interface, that’s easy to use, easy to back up because streaming media players do need maintenance so don’t be fooled by anyone that says that’s not the case and also you get a fast shipping with a great warranty.  There’s no other experience that’s like this Free My TV and the Pangaea TV are the best streaming media device in North America right now.  Check them out freemytv.ca or give them a call 1-844-202-2727. Thanks Dave.

Mark: Hi it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation and we’re here with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV. How are you doing today Dave?
 Dave: Happy Friday Mark.
Mark:  So we’re talking about the value provided by the Pangaea TV so what value do you provide?
Dave:  Well I’ve got a number of cards here that I’m going to go through and just to show you what separates me and what you really get with, with your Pangaea TV so first off it’s free.
You get, you don’t need any more cables, so no cable subscriptions, no monthly fees and my customers save on average a $100 a month with the Pangaea TV.
Movies; you’ll get almost every movie ever made, some going back decades to all the latest movies, you’ll get movies from other countries on your Pangaea TV.
Popular TV shows; you’ll get almost every TV show ever made, you’ll get TV shows from other countries and you get to watch your TV shows the day they are on cable.
Live TV; over 3,000 live TV channels, there’s over 300 North American channels, that includes Canada, United States so you actually have the ability to cut the cable and still get live TV.
Sports; stream live games, you’ll get soccer, football, basketball, baseball, UFC boxing, cricket and more and as well if you miss the game you can watch many games on demand commercial free after they air.
If you have kids; you have tons of kid’s cartoons, kids TV shows, kid’s series, plenty of kids content on your Pangaea TV.
Very important to me is it’s user friendly, it’s easy to navigate, I make the menus easy to find and easy to navigate, it’s very easy to update, I have a wizard that takes five minutes to update your config and when you do make modifications you can back it up so that you have a copy of your changes all with one click, it’s very, very easy.
This is a big one; I have an exclusive add-on, it’s called extreme, no one else has it, you will never find it on an android box anywhere, with it you get to enjoy live TV movies, TV shows, music and sports, it’s a real game changer.
My hardware is solid, I sell intel powered devices, my high end Nuc comes with a three year bumper to bumper warranty; there’s no other streaming media player that actually offers a three year warranty, they’re all one year, my boxes are faster than android boxes, they operate under Linux, a version of Linux called open OpenELEC which is very stable.
Shipping; since day one I’ve shipped all my orders with 24 hours, often most orders are shipped same day, again I ship faster than Amazon.
And last, very important is the support my customers get, each customer when they receive their Pangaea TV gets a 30 minute tutorial, also if they need to contact me I just don’t rely on forums or, or email, they can email, they can phone, they can text, some Blackberry message me, some send me messages on Facebook, I respond to all my customers within minutes, I also do new configs on a weekly, monthly basis so my customers can get, actually get updated configs on a regular basis using the wizard and I offer a 30 day no BS return policy.  You’re happy or you get your money back and there you have it Mark, that’s what makes me different from all the players in town.
Mark:  So if you’re looking for the premium, no fooling around, no having to download and burn stuff to USB drives and stick it in and fart around, you want something that’s easy to use cause you just want to watch your media Pangaea TV is the answer.  Give Dave a call 1-844-202-2727 or check out the website freemytv.ca. Thanks Dave.
Dave:  Thanks Mark.

Hey, it’s Dave. I’m going to show you quickly how you can add a new HQ, High Quality source to your TV show library which will give you more options for more shows to have higher quality streams. So first thing you need to do is you need to go to a website either on your phone, tablet or laptop and the website address is ororo.tv as in television, create the free account, it should take no more than a minute, when that’s done I want to go on to My Shows, you going to click down to TV Tools, click enter, go down to Accounts, click enter on Accounts, scroll down until you see Ororo TV - enter your user name and password, then click back up and go to General click to the right and scroll down to Sources Timeout. I want you to click that down to 20 seconds, use the left arrow on your controller and you will see how it is going down in seconds, stop at 20 seconds then click up, click over and make sure you click OK. From there we’re going to go back and you’re going to test it - so go to My Shows and click on a show, we’re going to click on The Big Bang Theory, going to go to Season 8 - episode 23 - so you will see it will load a lot quicker, the sources are a lot quicker and there we have it. There is Ororo TV right there - so we will click on that. This is a good source, it has good quality and it loads really fast. There you have it. So that should give you more options or another option for watching some high quality streams and TV shows. Alright. Any questions give me a shout. Thanks for watching.

 Dave:  Thanks Mark.

Mark: Hi it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation and we’re here with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV, purveyors of the premium streaming media device - the Pangaea TV in North America. How’re you doing today Dave?
Dave: I’m doing well, how are you Mark?
Mark: Good, so we’re going to talking about the fact that streaming media devices are not toasters, they need updating. So what happened with one of your clients that didn’t update their device?
Dave: Well, first off a streaming media box is just a little computer. My devices, my HTPC’s are the same components you would find in a laptop and so they do require some maintenance. I sold a box to a customer back in May this year on a referral from a friend of his who had the Pangaea TV. The process was the same, shipped it to him right away, when he received it we did a 30 minute tutorial and went through a bunch of stuff. This was his first streaming media player and everything was great and then over the summer I got a message him where he indicated he was frustrated because some of the stuff was’t working and so we had a conversation, we did some little tweaks on the box, made sure it was up to date and I didn’t hear from him again. I do communicate with my customers on a regular basis, I do send out a newsletter. I send out updates, things they need to be aware of, I have an announcement feed that goes across the top of the screen of the Pangaea TV - so customers know about the new add-on’s, or new features or things like that, especially when it comes to configurations and it’s time for them to update the box, it’s something that they have to pull down from the server which takes on average about 5 minutes start to finish. It’s really easy, it’s literally three clicks.
So last week I got a text message from him and he was frustrated again because nothing was working, everything was buffering, he said his internet was double what I recommended he should get back in May and that he was thinking about going back to  the satellite. And that, kinda, I haven’t talked to you in 3 months, you haven’t called me with any issues, all of a sudden we’re at a tenure, what’s going on? So I arranged to have a conversation with him and quickly figuring it out, he hadn’t done an update in quite a few months - probably four or five months he hadn’t actually pulled down an update. So the first thing we did was pull down the latest config which again took 5 minutes and then we went through and I kinda took a step back and I said you know it’s been 6-8 months since you had your box, let’s actually go through and start the process again. So we did another tutorial, I went through everything, a lot of the stuff he was aware of and comfortable with and after the 45 minute phone call, I said let’s touch base in a week and we’ll see how it’s going. So I didn’t hear from him, everything seemed good and this morning I sent him a text message saying how are things and his response back was exactly what I wanted to hear. He says it’s been great, everything is working really, really well and the fact that he was off all week because he was sick allowed him to catch up and watch a whole bunch of content on his Pangaea TV and he was very, very happy.
And so again, I won’t rest until my customers have a, I tell my customers all the time that if I can’t get a six out of five stars that I’m not doing my job. so there you have it, I took a situation of a frustrated customer, did a little bit of education, we did a little bit more tweaking and I’m happy to say that he’s streaming away!
Mark: So if you want the premium streaming media experience in North America, this the device, these are the guys to deal with, the great customer service - it does require updating - it’s not a toaster, so be aware of that. Instead of your cable system doing all the updates in behind, you know, you saved that money so you are responsible for doing some of the updates yourself. It’s easy. I can do it, so it’s dead simple. So freemytv.ca to check it out or give Dave a call 1-844-202-2727. Thanks Dave
 Dave: Thanks Mark

Mark: Hi it Mark from Top Local Lead Generation and we’re here to day with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV, the streaming media king of North America. How’re you doing today Dave?
Dave:  Happy Monday Mark, I’m doing great thanks.
Mark: So we’re going to talk about customer service and why it’s important with a streaming media device. How does that work?
Dave: Yeah, well first off, streaming media devices are still relatively new and some people that are jumping on board in purchasing on for their home, are what I consider early adapters. So this past September I got a phone call from a client of mine who lives out here and they were going back east to Ontario to see his parents and some family for about 3 weeks and they decided to take their Pangaea TV with them. This customer of mine has told me over the last couple years that there’s a family friend out there that used to install a satellite dish for people and he’s now getting into the media box business because that’s where things are going. So they took their Pangaea TV out there and hooked it all up and this guy happened to come over to the house and he was looking at everything the Pangaea could do and he convinced this guys dad - “Oh, I have a box just like that, it’s even better, it’s great, it’s perfect” and so his dad ended up paying $250 for this little Android device and it worked for a about a month. So I was speaking to my customer over the weekend, “Yeah it was a piece of crap” he said “It’s horrible and you know what, my dad hasn’t been able to get a hold of the guy for 6 weeks”. So this thing is a brick in his house, it doesn’t do anything anymore and the guy won’t return his phone call, and I said “Oh, interesting” and he says “Yeah, he spent $250 on it and he’s unhappy.  So I’m actually going to send him one for Christmas, a Pangaea TV for Christmas.”  And I said, “Yeah, it’s not a problem and I’ll service him and take care of him and I’ll be there to help him out.”
And that’s just one of so many examples that I see and hear from people who buy these devices thinking that they’re user friendly, they get them home, they struggle to understand them because they’re new to the process. The person that they purchase from oftentimes you know will give them, if they even respond to them, give them some techie talk on how they can do certain things and it goes right over their head. Then they’re forced to search online, you know go to the internet, go to Youtube and try to learn something that frankly should be a plug and play and be a very user friendly experience.
So again, just another example of someone who spent less money but the experience they have is not a good one.
Mark: So if you want the best, the premium truly, the premium streaming media experience in North America - Free My TV - the Pangaea TV - the interface that Dave is developing and continually working on, updating, making better, the customer support that he provides - top notch! You will enjoy your experience immensely. Get started at FreeMyTV.ca or you can give Dave a call at 1-844-202-2727. Thanks Dave

Mark: Hi, it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation and we’re here with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV. How’re you doing today Dave?
Dave: Happy Friday Mark! I’m doing well, how are you?
Mark: I’m good. So we’re going to talk about the premium media device for streaming, any kind of entertainment over your television today and  a bit of a customer challenge that you had this morning.
Dave: Yes, this one is less than 30 minutes old. I received a call from a gentleman who was given my name from another customer of mine and he is a recently retired gentleman who is, I didn’t get his age but he’s older. And he was talking about how he loves old westerns and in particular, every single day on channel 30 with Shaw at one o’clock and two o’clock he gets Bonanza and Gunsmoke. So he watches them live every single day and that’s how he spends his afternoon. So we got to chatting about what was available through Pangaea TV and within a few clicks of the controller I was able to pull up both of those shows, and one of them has 20 seasons, and the other has 13 seasons, and just randomly clicking on a few episodes while I had him on the phone, I was able to pull up the episodes that I clicked on. So it he was pretty intrigued by that and he had another challenge for me. He asked me if I could find a show called Evil Roy Slade, which I’d never heard of. I really thought it was a TV show so I started searching for it in the TV Shows and I couldn’t find it. So I thought, OK, I’ve never heard of it, maybe it’s not around and as I was going to look at some other stuff, he goes, oh it’s a movie. And he had told me that many, many years ago him and his buddies and he had a little chuckle in his voice, him and his buddies about 20 of them had got together at one of the houses to watch this movie and they laughed so hard and that it was an awesome memory for him. Could I get that movie for him? And sure enough I found it in the Movie section on the Pangaea TV and literally within 30 seconds I had it playing so he could hear it through the phone and he had a little chuckle.
So I batted a 100% today for finding older westerns and older TV series for a retired gentleman out in Maple Ridge. I felt pretty good about that.
Mark: So if you’re looking for old, hard to find content, children’s content, sports, you name it, pretty much you can find it all on a Pangaea TV. The interface that is has is really easy to use. You’ll be able to find your stuff once you get used to it and Dave offers exceptional customer service so you do get up to speed quickly and know how to update and manage and backup your box. All necessary parts of the streaming experience. So give Dave a call 1-844-202-2727 or go check out the website freemytv.ca Thanks Dave.
Dave: Awesome, have a great weekend Mark, thank you

‪http://freemytv.ca‪ Call Dave - 1-844-202-2727
‪With Pangaea TV from Free My TV you get a 30 day, no question warranty.
Mark: Hi, it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation and we’re here with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV, the premium streaming media device provider in Canada. How’re you doing today Dave?
Dave: Happy Monday Mark. I’m doing great. How are you?
Mark: I’m good. So we have a bit of a story. Someone called you and they were a bit skeptical, is that right?
Dave: Yeah, I got a call yesterday afternoon, Sunday afternoon, from a lady out in Ontario and she was actually surprised that I even picked up the phone, she was going to leave a message. I spent about 20 minutes on the phone with her and she had a few questions for me. The first question, she was very skeptical, she said,”This sounds too good to be true, I mean, all your content, all your TV shows and I don’t even have to have cable?” And I said, “Yeah it’s true.” I asked her how she found me. She said she actually put a query out on her Facebook page and she received a few responses from people, and two of the people, she didn’t give me their names, suggested that she look at Free My TV. I’m assuming they were customers of mine.
So she did some research and she wanted to know the difference between some of the machines that I have as I said, she was looking for a Christmas gift for her husband. Anyways, so we spent about 20 minutes chatting and she was asking me about certain types of programming, they both love hockey. And when the call came up on my phone it was from Ontario and so I asked her when she mentioned hockey are you a Leafs fan and she said no, no, no  and I thought she was going to hang up - we don’t say the L word in this house! We’re Senators fans! So they’re anti-Leafs fans which is alright, I’m a Jets fan. And so we spent 20 minutes just chatting and she was energized. She told me how much she’s spending - they spend $175 a month right now on their cable, internet and phone and they’re looking to cut that down to about $100 a month - so they’re looking to shave their bill by about $70 dollars. So I said, like I say to everybody, get the box and you have 30 days to play with it and if after 30 days you don’t see yourself being able to cut cable and downsize and you’re not happy with it, then by all means just let me know, send everything back to me and I’ll refund every single cent that you paid for it. That’s my 30 day guarantee with regards to returning it. And I told her, they don’t come back. My Pangaea boxes don’t come back. People love them and she said, she has nothing to lose. So she was going to chat with her husband and decide if they’re going to pull the trigger or not and there’s my story.
Mark: So if you want customer service that occurs even on Sundays, Super Bowl er not Super Bowl, Grey Cup Sundays, these are the guys to call. Give Dave a call at 1-844-202-2727 or check out his website www.freemytv.ca Thanks Dave

Mark: Hi, it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation and we’re here today with Mr. Dave Gajdosik from FreeMyTV.ca talking about cord cutting for your TV. So cord cutting. Who’s cutting the cable?
Dave: Well according to my customers it’s pretty much everybody. You don’t typically come to Free My TV and purchase a Pangaea box if you’re looking to keep your cable. It is a part of my selling strategy. People are asking questions about am I going to be able to get this and this and do this and this and I say yes, you are going to be able to get all the content that you are currently either paying for through traditional cable subscription, you’re downloading through torrent sites or you’re getting on Netflix. You’re going to get it all in one place on your Pangaea TV. So my customers are people who are looking to save money. The age range is from 30 all the way to customers in their 80’s who are frustrated, they’re looking for a solution that’s going to give them everything in one spot. So to answer your question as to who is cutting the cable people who are buying a Pangaea TV for the most part are cutting their cable.
Mark: And a lot of other people according to statistics I think but …
Dave: It’s funny a few months ago I read an article, I think it was on Huffington Post News and it said that 17% of Canadians have cut the cable in the last 12 months - so it’s now 17% of Canadians who don’t have a traditional cable subscription so they’re relying on the internet of Netflix or other paid services to get their viewing content. That was a few months ago so the number is definitely increased. Just in the last week, actually in the last four days, I’ve seen the same news articles from CBC from a number of people, one of them being my number one fan, which is my mom, and it’s all about the cord cutters and they also talked about the cord never. These are people that are typically younger, in their 20’s, who are moving out and they’re not getting cable at all. They’ve never relied on cable. I think about my sons who you know, we haven’t had cable for a few years, so for them there is no getting cable when they grow up and move out. They’re not going to be getting a cable package through the traditional Shaw or Telus or Bell or Rogers because it’s not even on their radar right. So the cord never are people that are typically younger and they’re moving out of their parents place for the first time in their 20’s and the concept of getting cable isn’t on their radar. There’s not a lot of data on those people yet according to the CBC article. It’s a frightening trend especially if you’re in the cable content business, if you’re a big ISP because these people may be a customer for a phone or internet cable.
Mark: So why do you think people are cutting their cable TV access?
Dave: They’re doing it because it’s gotten out of hand. For the most part, when I hear from people whether it’s an email or phone call they’re frustrated. They’re frustrated that they can’t get the programs they want, it seems like every 6 months or every year they’re paying more and they’re getting less. I had a colleague of mine who actually tracking his expenses - he tracked everything from his hydro to his mortgage, pretty much all of his bills - I actually did a blog post about it many many months ago - and his cable, his internet everything had gone up 800% over the same period but he wasn’t getting the same value. He wasn’t getting any additional value, yeah maybe a few more HD channels. So the cost of traditional cable and we’re seeing it now with the cost of internet is going through the roof. Most people are looking for ways to save money and when you see your bill go up - I was a perfect example of that - a couple of weeks ago I looked at my bill at it had gone up another four dollars and I said I hadn’t changed my internet or phone but it’s gone up another $4 so if you’re not dialled in to what you’re paying every month and checking it, then yeah it’ll creep up and I think that’s what they’re hoping for. They’ll give you a bundle for six months or for four months and all of a sudden your bill will balloon up and you know if you’re not paying attention you’re going to be spending 20-30% more for the same exact service you had a month ago. So for a lot of people they are looking for ways to cut the cable. They’re looking at ways to save some money but also get away from the hassle that TV viewing has become. I’ve said it before, you need to have traditional cable to get these types of programs, and if you want to get the stuff that is not available or it only available through spending even more money through your cable provider; you’ve got to go to torrent sites and there’s things like Netflix which allows you to get content as well. So for a lot of people there are 3 different sources they had to go to to get their content and that’s a bit little overwhelming especially for someone who is a little bit older and technology is something they’re warm to but they’re not totally dialled into it.
One of the things about the Pangaea TV is it takes all those elements away. There’s no more downloading, there’s no need of a traditional cable package. So you can truly cut the cord and not miss a show. Netflix, again I actually have customers who say, well can I get rid of Netflix and I actually tell them don’t. There is a place for Netflix and at $8 a month you know, that one’s a no brainer. Hold on to your Netflix for sure.
Mark: So, I wish it was just three, it’s actually a lot more than that if you have any interest in any specialty stuff like NFL football or hockey and you want to see everything then those are all extra packages. Or movies. So how do you think that cable companies other than just cranking the price up, how are they starting to stop the bleeding of subscribers?
Dave: Well, they were forced this past spring, the CRTC in Canada especially has gone to a $25 basic cable subscription and all the ISP’s, cable providers are going to have a $25 basic package and then they’re moving to an ala carte. Their hope is that the people that are their current subscribers to their service will continue if they can pick and choose the channels they want. And in some cases, the talk is that it’s actually going to be even more expensive. Because if you want to get those premium channels, it’s not going to be just a dollar a month, it’s going to be $4.99 a month to get that one channel. So they’re hoping that’s going to help. Ultimately I don’t know if they’ll be able to stop the bleeding as we stated it. I think more and more important is what they’re going to do to keep their shareholders happy and keep the lights on so to speak. Here in Canada especially, is we’re going to be paying more for internet. Our internet prices over the next couple years, in some cases double, yes the speed might increase but it’s going to double. So if what you’re paying, if you’re paying $80-$90 a month you’re going to be spending $180-$200 a month for your internet. That’s how they’re going to offset the subscribers. And in fact, it’s happened on so many occasions, if you actually call your cable provider now and it happens with one of the big cable companies out here, and you can’t actually see your cable, dollars to donuts within 48 hours they’re going to call you and they’re going to offer you free cable. It has happened to so many of my customers who have actually cut the cord, and it happened to me as well. In fact a few times I’ve received a phone call and they offer you free cable for six months. It’s something they’re aware of and they’re trying desperately to hold on to those subscribers for sure.
Mark: So you kinda went through a lot of my questions. The difference between cord cutters - cord nevers. But I think, I just want to make a point maybe of how you described all the areas where you can get content being really, figuring out where is your stuff actually, is really frustrating. But another thing I think a lot of us are frustrated by, is how much, we pay a premium amount of money for internet access and TV and phone and all the rest of that stuff, and yet I’m paying for the privilege of having ads shown to me that are absolutely no relevance or interest to me. Do you hear many complaints about that?
Dave: Well, I’ve complaints about commercials for years and about a decade ago, most PBR remote controls came with a commercial skip button and so we’ve been, as consumers, we’ve been slowly trained to dislike commercials more and more. Especially if you go to something like a Youtube and they’ll put an ad up before the video and you’re allowed to skip it after 5 seconds. So we’re being trained to get around and get beyond having to watch commercials. A lot of people, especially the cord nevers, they’re not used to the type of commercials that you and I Mark would of experienced growing up and going through all the years of traditional cable where every 15 minutes the show is interrupted and you’re forced to sit through and either mute or get up and do something or sit and watch three and a half or four minutes of ads that may or may not be relevant. In any cases probably not relevant. Things like adult diapers, viagra or whatever it is they’re trying to jam down our throats.
The challenge is that a traditional commercial is something that, in my opinion, isn’t going to be something that’s going to be valuable to TV shows anymore because people are just not watching them. The cable companies and stuff need to be thinking outside the box on how they get their brand and their message to us. I was actually watching something, I was at the pub with some buddies the other night, and we were watching sports highlights on TSN and the lower 30% of the screen was an ad, I want to say it was an ad for some sort of restaurant, so you had the two people on screen talking about the sports highlights and the bottom third of the screen was you know, was on there for about 10-15 seconds was an ad to this restaurant. I thought, ok that’s a creative way. So they haven’t actually interrupted our viewing experience they’re just giving us a subtle message, right. So yeah, again the traditional viewing experience is flawed nowadays. I remember Kevin Spacey when he was talking about doing a little presentation on House Of Cards for Netflix and he kind of got on stage and hew was talking about how the traditional cable model is broken and they you know people want to be able to watch what they want to watch when they want to watch it all on demand and why do a 45 minutes show every week, why not just release it all. So one of the things Netflix has done is they’ve really got to understand their audience and what they want, and that’s why they release all their programs, all 12 episodes or whatever the series is going to be, all at the same time, same day and allows somebody on their time, to watch at the pace that they want to do it. So again, it’s going to an on demand world. The traditional commercial business model is one that needs to be revamped and again, it’s going to be interesting to watch the next 12 to 24 months because there’s a lot of changes coming to the TV world for sure.
Mark: Great. so if you want to be part of those changes, if you’re tired of not getting the content that you want to see or you’re tired maybe of the many commercials we get the privilege of paying for, this is a solution. Freemytv.ca is the website - check it out or give Dave a call at 1-844-202-2727. Thanks Dave
