It’s been 101 days since I started working on the bookshop model, and it’s almost finished – except it’s not quite yet. I’ve started working on the roof and the dome, which were the parts I still had left. And now everything needs to come together. So mostly I’m just gluing and gluing and adjusting the details. And here are a few photos of how it looks right now.

Making a slow start again ✨ After an intense moving period, I've finally found some time and energy to put into my beloved project again.

It wasn't the most challenging part, it was actually rather repetitive. However, it looks NEAT finished.

Again, can't wait to see Camelot finished! I'm already brainstorming where I could display it in my new home. It, of course, need a spot fitting of it's fantastical stature 🌟

I'll be posting more photos of these as i print and assemble them. I actually have to do a test print--my printer is an old office printer that doesn't make super contrasty, saturated images, and i'm worried it will whitewash mariner and rutherford if i don't edit the color values a bit.

My adhd got too confident, this model is way above my skill level considering it comes without a manual. I spend my whole day on it without a break, what was a mistake. I also had troubles figuring out how to do the back of the head and I def did it wrong. The head is now tilted, but I don't care. I'm happy I done, it looks in my eyes amazing and I'm very proud of my self.

New World Headquarters for the Research Commission, Formation of The Hunter’s Guild: The Settlement of Astera or The Settlement of Astera or Astera (Monster Hunter: World) made by hand primarily from paper (also floral wire, toothpicks, epoxy resin) 28” x 20” diameter

My largest miniature yet and certainly the most densely constructed. This piece took me 5 months, chipped through well over 1k blades, 4 pads of bristol paper, countless sheets of cardstock, 3 bottles of glue, 48 LEDs, and a liter of clear cast resin. For scale photo scroll all the way down!
