It’s Saturday, and you finally got your boyfriend, Jihoon, to yourself on one of his rare off days. For the past weeks he had been working extra hard, going back and forth between Japan and South Korea on tour, and promoting Treasures new album. Between that, there was rarely any time left for you guys to hang out at all. But by some chance, he finally had the day off to spend time with you.

“You ready? The movie is about to start” You hear the familiar deep voice from the other side of the door. “Ready” You reply back, looking in the mirror one last time, and examining your looks before heading out of the bathroom, and following your boyfriend to the front door. You were going to the movies with Jihoon, a movie you had been wanting to see with him for a while and you guys had finally had the chance to go see it. When you walked into the living room, the vision of Hyunsuk and Junghwan playing video games met your eyes. The intense game of call of duty creating tension in the big room. “Where are you guys headed?” Hyunsuk asks with almost no emotion. “You look nice, y/n” Junghwan says, only taking a brief second to look at your outfit, smiling at you, then focusing back to his game.

Jihoon audibly snickers at Junghwan’s nice comment. Junghwan has always been close to you. Being Jihoons girlfriend, you got used to being over at their place a lot. That also meant that you were close with the members too. Especially Junghwan, he would always ask if you wanted to play a video game, or have movie night on the couch if you were staying over that night. You were always his “favorite” and sometimes he would say little things like that to get a reaction out of Jihoon, your easily jealous boyfriend.

“We’re going to the movies actually!” You reply back, looking at Jihoon with a warning glare for his reaction to Junghwans comment earlier. “Can we come too?” Junghwan asks almost immediately, completely pausing the game to focus his attention on you and jihoon, looking at you both with pleading eyes. “No” Jihoon says plainly, giving little to no expression. He looked at Junghwan and Hyunsuk sharply with his arms crossed. Turning the idea down was almost the easiest thing he’s ever had to do the whole day. “Stop, Jihoon. Play nice” You whisper, elbowing him for his behavior. “You guys can come. If your ready to leave right now though, because we’re heading out the door right now” Jihoon changes his tone to a more dad like voice (by your request). He gets the keys off of the he holder and heads out the front door, pressing the unlock button on the key. “C’mon guys!” you motion Hyunsuk and Junghwan to follow you out of the door, in which they do so, almost immediately joining you two.

The car ride there was quiet really. The side profile of Jihoon was almost incredible. You could tell he was frustrated by the way he was clenching his jaw, and how his right hand never stopped gripping your thigh. He was getting possessive and you couldn’t help but find this side of him strangely attractive.

You’re the first one to get out of the car, unbuckling your seatbelt swiftly. “I’ll go get our tickets, okay?” You say to the boys, already marching up the the front of the theater. “I’ll come too” Junghwan shouts, catching up with you in a quick pace. His long legs making up for the extra steps you’ve already took. You could hear a loud sigh coming from Jihoon, all the way from the parking lot to the front entrance. It was going to be a long night for sure.

The tickets were easy to get and you guys were finally heading to the seats. Jihoon sat down first, motioning for you to come sit beside, in which you did. The other two boys were still getting popcorn. So it was a quick moment that you could have with Jihoon before they came along. “I’m sorry, I know you wanted us to spend some time together. I promise i’ll make it up to you later” You tell him softly. Quickly feeling regret now that tonight had been more of a group thing than a date night. “It’s okay babe.” He says smiling, smoothly wrapping his arm around your shoulder. “I know I’m your favorite” He chuckles, looking at you. You look at him back. Holding eye contact between you two, before you felt his soft lips press onto yours. You could feel your body heat up at the sudden sensation. Kissing him back almost immediately, before he broke the kiss with a laugh. “I really am your favorite, huh?” He asks. It was true, he was your favorite, and he would always be your favorite, time and time again. The rest of the night was a good time spent, the movie was good, and the dinner you guys had later was even better. It was now late, and you guys were finally getting back home. You open the door and kick off your shoes softly. Junghwan and Hyunsuk already moving past you to finish their video game hours later. Jihoon came in beside you, taking off his shoes and placing them beside the door. As your lovely boyfriend was walking past you and to the room, you stopped him, grabbing his forearm with your hand. He looks back at you, turning his head, curious to see what the matter was. “I forgot to tell you, you aren’t my favorite, Junghwan is!” You laugh, looking back at the other boys who heard you from the couch, and laughing along with you. You kiss his cheek softly before running into the room, leaving Jihoon to get teased by Hyunsuk and Junghwan for your silly comment. “Haha, she likes me more!” You could hear Junghwan laugh out to Jihoon from the living room. Still talking about the funny thing you said earlier. You could only imagine the look on your boyfriends face hearing that. He definitely was going to get you back in the future, you think, laughing to yourself. You were lucky for your boyfriend, and his sweet members too. It was a good night indeed.

he said a friend recommended this beautiful spot to go stargazing (think a small area that overlooks the entire city yk the vibes ;). in order to get to said spot, you had to jump a fence and pass through an area that explicitly states “no trespassing”! but since you guys are #rulebreakers and are horrible influences on each other, you trespass! (would not recommend irl but irl me would do the same.) place is beautiful, as promised. takes a bunch of photos and jihoon would cuddle with you on a blanket he brought (sobs)

parks his car at some empty parking lot. you decide to climb on to the roof of the car while jaehyuk explains how you can break 300 bones in doing so :). you don’t manage to break any bones but you also can’t manage to spot any stars. jaehyuk turns into bill nye (hank green, maybe?) for a second and complains about pollution and how humans should cease to exist…all while also trying to scramble up the car to sit next to you. you remind him that if humans cease to exist, the both of you wouldn’t be spending a lovely night together sitting atop his car. starts to formulate a comeback but you shut him up with a kiss (hurrah).

hamada asahi

plays the whole ‘your name’ ost for *the vibes*. complains when no shooting star comes falling out of the sky. starts to get teary eyed when sparkle comes on. goes on a tanget about how your name is a cinematic masterpiece and wonders if the red string of fate that ties the two of you together is made out of cotton or 85% polyester (?? is this funny ??) would say some out of pocket shit like “hey that’s a dying star,” “oh yeah? how do you know?” “it looks like my soul.” all jokes! all jokes…😟

park jeongwoo

brings a flashlight because he’s scared he’ll get jumped in the dark. you tell him there are no monsters in korea and that he’s being paranoid. but it takes one, one, rustle of the leaves for you to jump in his arms. it’s honestly a really cute scenario if it weren’t for the fact that both of you are so close to pissing your pants. once the two of you calm yourselves jeongwoo points at the different constellations he learned about (definitely did not learn just for the sole purpose of impressing you, definitely not). but you are impressed and can’t help but to say how the stars look so pretty tonight. says something cheesy like “you’re the prettiest star in my eyes,” proceeds to wiggle his eyebrows. ugh.

*headcanons and ideas set during and after canon*

1.) Trust no bitch. Especially the fussy, emotionally unstable, clingy, brave, smart, and irresistible kind. Pretend that you don’t have a type and that that type isn’t “socially awkward twink who hates how much he wants me”

2.) Uncooked noodles are a valid food group! Don’t listen to rich city boys who say otherwise.

3.) You have two remaining besties, codenames Sassy Sister and Shady Mister. You are on the fence to replace one with the local butcher, Sharpy Blister (this codename thing is admittedly limited), but you’re undecided.

4.) At one point you seriously consider leaving the basement door unlocked with a welcome mat in front of it, but even you aren’t even sure whether it would be a joke or sincere, plus it wouldn’t do to be too forward in this courtship. Mustn’t frighten away the timid hedgehog boy too soon. Lure him in with treats (possible murder clues). Good hedgehog boy. Sit and stay.

5.) A few months after you get out of prison, a reporter comes around town asking questions about the rumors around Minjeong that had been on TV at one time. Unfortunately, he stops to ask for directions to your house at the police station, where Officer Park Jihoon is happy to assist. Somehow his directions accidentally lead the reporter into the boggiest part of a reed field, which he is eventually rescued from (two hours later, as the neighbors in the surrounding area didn’t seem to hear him shrieking). Encourage professionalism among your former subordinates by giving Jihoonie an extra dinner serving that evening.

6.) Make peace with the fact that your new partner’s dad is, like, actually the worst case scenario father-in-law. If you can’t make peace with it, make war. Bonus points if you engineer shit so you get to homoerotically cuff his son (into custody, of course) in front of everyone.

7.) Break into Han Juwon’s flat at least once without ever leaving a trace. Take a selfie with the murderboard (adorable. oddly endearing. maybe you can frame it at the lake house?)

8.) Somewhere along the line, you realize that had circumstances been different, your whole family would have welcomed Han Juwon into their home and hearts. Try not to think too much about it.

9.) You watch Han Gihwan’s trials on a prison tv with a guard (24, recently married, anxious to talk to someone about becoming a father) and there is a tiny, brief, terrifying moment at one of Han Gihwan’s trials where a piece of incriminating evidence from a confidential source is revealed for maximum effect at just the right time to shock the courtroom—and it’s right at the moment the camera zooms in on Han Gihwan’s stunned face, because in that moment you’re focused on the blink-and-you-miss-it smirk on Kwon Hyuk’s face in the background and you think: oh god. There’s two of us.

10.) When in doubt, smile and flirt.

this was partly inspired by this tiktok. i’m a trial attorney irl and wanted to chime in with my personal headcanons based on the kind of counsel i frequently deal with. for legal reasons, this is a joke.

seungcheol & jihoon — watch out for these two. they’re going to be unassuming & agreeable during pre-trial hearings, and they may even give off the impression that they’re each just a lil fella 🤏🏻 in a big courtroom, but when trial comes around? x-games mode. seriously, who the fuck is that monster, and where has he been until now? even if you win, you’re gonna stumble out of the courthouse with 1% of your life force left.

jeonghan & minghao — the most infuriating thing about them is that they don’t put on much of a case at all?? they just?? gaslight their way through it?? they manage to grab hold of a single, relatively insignificant thread, and they pull and pull and pull until your immaculately structured argument completely unravels. with just a crumb of effort, they have manipulated the jury and ruined your life. rip, diva. it was a good run.

joshua & mingyu — they reek of “big law”. they both come from some giant, (inter)national firm (probably founded by a family member), and you know what? they don’t even really practice your specific area of law. it doesn’t matter. they’re well-dressed, extremely charming, and the jury doesn’t care that they’re talking circular nonsense because their eyes are so sparkly. and because their retainers/fees a) are astronomical and b) aren’t contingent, their only real goal is to make the judge fall in love with them. they succeed. in fact, they’re going golfing together next weekend 😔

junhui — sorry to this man, but he’s either asleep at the counsel table, or he’s secretly playing fruit ninja on his phone underneath said table (people still play this in the year of our lord, 2024??). he doesn’t do a thing during trial itself but will come out with the most aggressive and dramatic closing arguments you’ve ever heard before dipping out without another word. you never see him again, and you’re not even sure if he’s actually real.

soonyoung & seokmin — they’re the type to walk into the attorney conference room outside the courtroom and ask you what the case is about/who their client is. they’ve each absolutely slipped up and called the judge/magistrate “your majesty”. they have no idea what’s going on, and for some reason, you can’t even be mad at them for their incompetence? because they’re just so likable as people? do not hire these men. if you have hired one of these men, fire him immediately, and ask him to get your case file out of his base model kia rio (where he’s kept it & forgotten about it) and give it back to you, expeditiously.

wonwoo & vernon — these big-brained motherfuckers have no pulse. they’re absolutely unflappable. they never raise their voice, never react with more than a nod or a thoughtful “aaah”. they’re silent killers, though; and they’ll blow your shit up without emoting once. their reactions to getting an acquittal or preventing a multi-million dollar award in damages? “wow 😐”

seungkwan & chan — the “true believers”, 100%. they’re junior attorneys with a lot to prove. unlike most attorneys who argue their client’s position, these two fully, personally assume it. even if their client is batshit insane, they’re completely on board; they both can and will die on this hill. (ex: “your honor, the meth lab in my client’s house was created and operated by the unnamed man who lives in his truck in the woods out back. my client had no idea it was in his kitchen. look deeply into his eyes, past the glassiness, and see his innocence!”). they’ll each argue and argue and argue until they walk out hoarse, and when they lose (not due to lack of ability but because their overzealousness scares the jury), they’ll probably cry in their car in the parking lot 😕

Over the thrumming of music, you and your best friend, Sohyun, stop dancing at the stranger who came along. His smile is polite enough, but you could sense his flirtatious intent.

 "No thank you," you say as a part of you couldn't help but laugh.

One of the many luxuries Park Jimin showers you with is free reign in any of his clubs—free drinks, VIP seats, and access at any date and time. It comforts him, he told you once, to know that you and your friends would go out and have fun somewhere he knows is made to be secure for someone like you, who is now entangled in his line of work. 

Sohyun very much loves this idea more than you—though she doesn't really know the truth of how this is all possible in the first place—but it seems she has different plans tonight.

You half-heartedly rolled your eyes at her antics, but nonetheless sat beside her as she struck a conversation with the stranger. The man, Jihoon he said, is kind enough to include you in the discussion, but it was clear enough that the main discourse was between him and Sohyun, leaving you to nurse a cocktail in your hand as you idly watch over them both. 

Sooner or later, a kiss to the cheek practically brings you to life, as the familiar warmth of a hand tenderly holds your waist. You look up in surprise and excitement to see your boyfriend. 

"There you are, jagi," Jimin's eyes were sharply glaring ahead, but they form crescents as soon as he lovingly gazes down at you. 

His emphasis on the term of endearment doesn't elude you. Jihoon, you immediately thought, a giggle leaving your lips. "Minnie," you affectionately coo as you turn your barstool towards your boyfriend, wrapping your arms around his neck as he readily slots his body between your legs with the gun concealed at his waist reminding you of his previous rendezvous. "Did your meeting end early?"

While you and Sohyun were out on a girl's night, Namjoon had your boyfriend occupied with a mission, gathering intel at a gala, which was why he's dressed quite cleanly at the moment—a sleek black suit ensemble that almost makes him look princely. 

Jimin, however, merely hums, oblivious to the hungry eyes that overcame you as his attention somewhere else. Following his sweltering gaze, you come to realize that Jihoon and Sohyun were looking at you both in shock and smugness respectively. You simply offer them a smile as you hop off your seat and grab Jimin's hand, getting him out of the situation before his quiet rage becomes too much to handle. "Let's dance?" you ask your boyfriend, effectively knocking off the furrow in his brows. 

On the dance floor, Jimin's hold on your waist is tight as the two of you move to the sensual beat playing from the DJ booth. He leans down to your ear, his breath sending shivers down your spine. "Who's the guy, hm?" he questions, making you grin as it confirms your suspicions. 

"You jealous, Minnie?" you teasingly ask, fingers playing with the ends of his hair. 

Jimin secures you with a stern glare, stubborn and in denial of possessing such a capability. "I don't get jealous, jagi," he drawls, squeezing at your hip in warning. "Don't be silly."

And yet, there's a near pout on his plump lips that makes you croon, leaning up to steal a kiss and will it away. "If it helps you sleep at night," you jokingly whisper to him like it's a secret. "He was interested in Sohyun."

Following where you nod your head, the two of you look at how the two were now back to their own little world, more flirty and—dare you say it—eye-fucking each other. You smirk as Jimin visibly loosens up, and he catches the look last minute, a grumble leaving his lips.

"I wasn't jealous."

KIM TAEHYUNG

For the record, this wasn't your idea in the first place.

Though it made your self-wallowing look cinematic, the downpour was harsh against the windowpane of the relatively quiet cafe you find yourself idly sitting in. Across the street and through the light fog, you could see the fancy French restaurant that had just denied you entry thirty minutes ago. 

See, after arriving a few minutes late to the venue, pointed stares from the patrons that were lined up and waiting to get the chance to enter the acclaimed restaurant had followed you as you shyly walked to the lady facilitating at the front desk. To your shock, however, the lady gives you an apologetic smile after checking her list for the name you told her. 

"I'm sorry, ma'am. There are no reservations under Kim Taehyung."

And so, with no reservations, you were guided out of the premises, hushed whispers following you as you left. 

Here you are at the less-expensive-but-expensive-nonetheless coffee shop across it, dress and hair a little damp from being caught in the rain. Before you, on the table, is a latte you were forced to order to be able to get yourself a seat in the corner of the cafe, and by now it was half-empty as you idly wait for your boyfriend to respond to your messages. 

"(Y/N)?"

You look up at the sound of your name, only to see a familiar face—just not the one you had hoped. "Minhyuk," you politely bow as the man approaches your table. "Nice to see you!"

The man, a frequent patron of the humble restaurant you used to work at downtown, smiles back, but soon frowns as he takes your appearance in. "What happened to you?"

Oh, God. You didn't look like a wet cat, did you?

"Got caught in the rain," you sheepishly say, consciously running your fingers through your damp hair to somewhat fix it. This whole night has been nothing but embarrassing. 

Minhyuk casts a glance out the window, nodding understandably. "Well, do you need a lift home?" he kindly offers, "the rain doesn't seem to plan on stopping soo—"

"That won't be necessary."

The familiar deep tone of Taehyung's voice sends shivers down your spine as your wide eyes land on his figure behind Minhyuk. He stands there in all black, hand armed with a black umbrella while the other’s buried in his pocket. His jaw is clenched and his eyes carry a cold, deadly stare that intimidates both you and Minhyuk. "Let's go, jagi," he grits through his teeth, eyes not looking away from the awkwardly standing Minhyuk. 

Your frustrations for the past half hour only worsens at Taehyung’s attitude, compelling you to roll your eyes as you gather your things off the table. “Thanks for the offer anyways,” you managed to tell Minhyuk as you passed him, before Taehyung immediately grabbed your wrist and dragged you out of the cafe. 

“Taehyung, this is unnecessary!” 

“Is it?” Taehyung hisses back as he flawlessly opens the umbrella overhead and encircles his other arm around your waist to shield you from the pouring rain. He’s taking you to the restaurant, you notice, which now had a line of restaurant staff anxiously waiting outside to serve you. He must’ve dealt with them before he entered the cafe. 

Alas, having enough, you practically dug your heels to the ground. This effectively stops Taehyung, who turns to raise a brow at you in a challenging gaze. “I’m not going in there,” you spat, stubbornly crossing your arms.

“Why?” Taehyung drawls, “should I call him over instead?”

Rolling your eyes may be bratty, but he’s being more of a brat than you are. “You know that’s not what I meant. He has nothing to do with this,” you grit through your teeth, as he rolls his eyes. Frankly, you weren’t up to do anything anymore. There’s a brewing argument and you’d rather be away from prying eyes.

“I want to go home,” you tell him, cursing the way your voice shakes in the end as it betrays your emotions to him. “I’m tired.”

Your boyfriend’s eyes soften just a little bit, sensing your upset exhaustion. Taehyung eventually sighs, the walking paradox following as you wished and gently directing you towards a familiar sleek, black car in spite of the traces of anger still on his features. 

Jealousy is as handsome on Kim Taehyung as it is ugly. 

JEON JUNGKOOK

"Ow! That hurts!"

Before you, Jungkook curses a colorful string of words under his breath as you clean his wound, compelling you to roll your eyes at his whines. It was his fault, really, for letting his fist get the best of him yet again. 

The impromptu date started quite well—Jungkook taking you to his motorcycle and driving around the city after the both of you suffered under the brunt of a stressful day. At your behest for dinner, Jungkook took you to the Japanese restaurant you heard your coworkers gush about. 

Alas, the night ended with the ruckus that now left the both of you at a convenience store parking lot, having to buy a first aid kit at the last minute.

It was hard to say who threw the first punch—okay, that's a lie. It was Jungkook. 

"Maybe it wouldn't hurt if you didn't get into a fight in the first place, hm?"

Jungkook only crosses his arms and grumbles, saying nothing further in his defense knowing damn well you had a point. You click your tongue, shaking your head as you dab some ointment on the gash on his cheek. 

"He deserved it," he then childishly claims after a moment of silence, making you sigh. 

The "he" in question was one of the chefs at the restaurant, who had been the one stationed at the table you and Jungkook sat at. He had been a nice cook, very entertaining during the live cooking demonstration, but, in hindsight, you now realize that he had been visibly interested in you, giving cheeky winks and jokes despite Jungkook's clear display of affection towards you. 

"He kind of does," you admit, earning a pleased smile from Jungkook, who you had to settle back with a glare. "That still doesn't mean you had to cause a scene."

The last straw had been the chef trying to feed you the sushi he had just made. You had seen videos of Japanese chefs doing this—heard one of your coworkers gush about it in the first place—but even if you came here for the food and experience, you found that a bit unnecessary. Alas, even as you declined, he insisted. 

Jungkook, who had been seething at that point, finally had enough—the weapon concealed beneath his leather jacket nearly flying out had it not been for you stopping the conflict along with the restaurant staff. 

Hence, here you two were. 

Stepping back, you solemnly look into your boyfriend's eyes. His affinity for violence comes as a by-product of his line of work, you understand, but he needs to draw a line somewhere, somehow. It was fortunate enough that his mind thought to use his fist instead of the gun he had on him. "You can't keep getting into fights like these, Koo," you calmly chide, as you smooth over the bandaid you placed on his cheek. "I'm your girlfriend, not your nurse or your babysitter that has to keep you out of your troubles."

Jungkook resorts to staring at the ground, guilty as charged at the judgement of your scolding. "I can't keep patching you up like this whenever you get jealous," you say, earning an immediate protest. 

"I'm not—"

"Or whenever you let your anger get the best of you."

Jungkook's guilty silence and pout eventually disarms you with a sigh. You decide to let the argument end there and let his conscience digest your words, packing up the first aid kit and taking your helmet off one of the handles. An inked hand gently stops you before you can put it on, another hand coming to pull you close and press a thankful yet apologetic kiss onto your forehead. 

"I'm sorry," he mumbles against your skin, his stubbornness's full defeat bringing a soft smile to your lips. 

A baby.
