Mini-review:

Well, this drama was entertaining, but nothing more. It was especially funny at the beginning, thanks to that sort of 'rivalry' between the leads. However, once they solved that and started moving into purely romantic territory, the story began to lose steam quickly. Tbh, I kept watching to the very end because of the sizzling chemistry between Jeon Jong Seo and Moon Sang Min. And I guess I wanted to see how in the world they were gonna clear up the mess created by the characters, which was pretty fascinating. I feel like the show would have been better if the director had put more thought into its style, cause the whole thing looked pretty cheap and bland. But still, Wedding Impossible is fun enough, and I can see fans of classic romcoms enjoying it a lot.

Let's try to manifest a world where some of the biggest Korean actresses were cast in major full-length GL kdramas.

COP + CRIMINAL

Esom (Because This Is My First Life) and Lee Da-hee (Search: WWW) play partners and besties, who both fall for their respective suspects for a crime spree against the patriarchy. (Think: Evening the pay gap at a major company; exposing scandals of sexist politicians; and chemically castrating sex offenders). Esom's love interest is Park Eun-bin (Extraordinary Attorney Woo), and Da-hee's love interest is Seo Yea-ji (It's Okay to Not Be Okay). It's a romantic crime thriller.

FRIENDS to LOVERS

Seol In-ah (Business Proposal) plays a new-money rich girl who hires a former old-money rich girl, played by Yoo In-na (Touch Your Heart), to be her personal assistant out of pity, but pretends she doesn't know her backstory. And Yoo helps Seol navigate rich society. Their conflict is that Seol's family bankrupted Yoo's family, and is getting the life Yoo was supposed to have, including the fiancee, the job, and the house. It's a sweet romantic comedy.

BOSS + EMPLOYEE

Kim Ji-won (Fight My Way) starts a job at a family law firm and works hard to get one of the partners, played by Son Ye-jin (Crash Landing on You), to be her mentor, but only because she wants her job. She starts off as a frenemie before Ye-Jin's hard edges rub off, and Ji-won develops a crush. Their obstacles are that Ye-Jin is married and in the closet, and Ji-won might be too ambitious to let go of her goals. It's a slow-burn romantic legal drama.

COOL GIRL + DORK

Park Shin-hye (Heirs & Pinocchio) plays a cold fashion house designer who hires an unlikely candidate to be her muse, played by Moon Ga-young (True Beauty). And what starts off as a toxic relationship blooms into a supportive one. Park Bo-young (Strong Girl Bong-soon) plays her head of design, who befriends Ga-young's bestie-turned-manager, played by Kim Seul-gi (Oh My Ghostess). They're the softer side couple. It's a romantic workplace dramedy.

FRIENDS to ENEMIES to LOVERS

Seo Hyun-jin (Why Her?) and Gong Hyo-jin (When the Camellia Blooms) were friends in college, but they had a falling out after a misunderstanding about a guy. They have a tense reunion as adults when Hyo-jin is setting up her nuptials at the wedding hall Hyun-jin manages. It's a slowburn romantic drama.

ONE-SIDED OBSESSION

Shin Min-a (Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha) plays the wife of a very powerful and abusive man and Hwang Jung-eum (She Was Pretty) plays the maid who is secretly in love with her and helps her escape. They go to Jung-eum's hometown where everyone assumes she's bringing her girlfriend home for the first time, because she didn't have the heart to tell them she got dumped after running away to be with her. Min-a decides to pretend to be the woman to pay her back, and they fall in love. The conflict being when Jung-eum's ex, played by Park Min-young (What's Wrong with Secretary Kim), returns to get her back.

BTS J-Hope’s Extravagant Gift To Crush That Introduced The Singer To “A New World” [KOREABOO]

The singer got honest about his experience.

On November 15, soloist Crush appeared on KBS2‘s Problem Child In House as a guest and talked about performing at BTS member J-Hope‘s sister’s wedding.

The topic came up when Kim Jong Kook, one of the hosts, mentioned the popularity of Crush’s song “Beautiful” as a wedding song. The singer responded by revealing that he, in fact, gets many invitations to sing at weddings. But, according to Crush, those kinds of gigs are the hardest since the sound equipment is usually not the best, and the atmosphere is tricky.

Despite these concerns, however, Crush has sung at some celebrity weddings. He was spotted at Park Shin Hye and Choi Tae Joon‘s star-studded nuptials, singing a congratulatory song. He also sang for the wedding of Choiza recently, a Korean hip-hop artist.

Crush also performed at the wedding of Jung Jiwoo, a famous influencer and business owner and also the older sister of J-Hope. She got married in a private ceremony back in 2021.

Regarding his performance at the wedding, Crush confessed that he was very nervous since he knew BTS would be attending the event.

"I felt like I was doing an audition because BTS were among the guests. I was very nervous and wanted to do well." — Crush

When the hosts asked if he received any gift at the event, the singer revealed that he got an expensive mic from J-Hope. It was customized with a handle covered in crystals!

Thanks to J-Hope’s thoughtful gift, Crush said he got to experience a “whole new world” of stage equipment.

Meanwhile, Crush and J-Hope are known to be close industry friends, and the two also worked together on the former’s single “Rush Hour” last year.

Choi Tae-joon ⁇ Park Shin-hye Wedding Ceremony.

The Heirs was the first ever kdrama that I have watched. And for some reasons, it struck me big time. I don't know, I just love it so dearly. It is literally that show that started it all for me. It was like an avenue that brought me into the kdrama and kpop world.

The Heirs was also the reason that I got to read a lot of fanfics. It really had me yearning for more of the story as I was looking for justice for the small yet mighty ship – YoungSang. And I must say it's amazing to have found out that there are lots of awesome fanfic writers here and there. I've also discovered AO3, AFF, and huh would you believe that it was also the reason why I decided to create a Tumblr account!

Through The Heirs, I also got to know my favorite squad: Lee Minho, Park Shinhye, Kim Woobin, Kang Minhyuk, Krystal, Kang Haneul, Kim Jiwon, and Park Hyungsik. Back in those days, the rest of this squad were not as popular as Minho and Shinhye in terms of acting career. But you see, they're all soaring high now – being the lead actors and actresses in their own individual projects. And when I look back and realize that I've literally been there with them as their names became bigger and bigger, I feel like a proud friend. It makes me emotional.

I guess it really is safe to say that The Heirs really became a huge chunk of who I am today.

Earlier, I've witnessed one person from my favorite squad getting married.

It feels surreal.

Hearing Lee Hongki sing one of The Heirs OST amplified all these emotions.

Look at that, Kim Tan-nim attending our Eunsang's wedding. I would have gone crazy if Choi Youngdo was there too.

As I was scrolling through more photos from the wedding, I came across old photos from The Heirs and for some reasons, there were tears in my eyes.

It's been 8 years now, but the squad and that show still holds a very special place in my heart.

And I don't think that would ever change. So I am here to see all of them reach their individual milestones in life.

Today all our ships might have completely sunk, but our heroine has finally found her real anchor. It's not a midsummer night's dream anymore, our Eunsang, as it was not the Prince on a white horse nor the Black Knight that was holding your hand. Be happy always.
