i finished watching on your wedding day and now i have a big gaping hole in my already battered heart and i don't think any amount of love or happiness is ever going to fill it and pull me out of this hole i was pushed into by the ending of this movie

How would you write a Thorbruce wedding (obviously the one in Love and Thunder was great because they got married in the movie and Bruce was in it -) but would you have done it differently?

well since the wedding in Love and Thunder was incredible, they’re weren’t many things I would have done differently. but if I were to write a thorbruce wedding, i would honestly go against what a lot of people say and would think they would have a relatively small wedding. thor would go all out, don’t get me wrong, but only a small handful of people would be attending said wedding yaknow? however, the celebratory feast afterwards would have like, the whole kingdom attending! they would definitely also have it on a friday, which was known as Friggs Day :) thor would defo wanna have his mother there at his wedding, even if it’s in spirit. thor, would also absolutely get bruce a sword as well as a wedding ring as it is norse tradition. bruce, i feel, isn’t as much a gift giver, but he would definitely go all out for his vows. also their honeymoon would be like 3 weeks long because they deserve the break and the time together lol. but this could never compare to how romantic their wedding was in Love and Thunder because it totally happened and it was amazing

something i really respect about brennan and izzy is that they’ve never just like. announced something. their engagement was “announced” in the middle of a zoom adventuring party in the midst of a different bit, everyone just kinda found out about their wedding through social media, and now their baby has been announced in the intro of a patreon exclusive talkback podcast through a bit that is basically indecipherable to those who have never heard it. despite being people who got their start within online community they are not beholden to sharing All Life News to them immediately and that rocks so hard.

putting my prediction on record now that the coming decade is going to see the rise of viral-marketed fancy at-home water filtration systems, driving and driven by a drastic reduction in the quality of U.S. tap water (given that we are in a 'replacement era' where our current infrastructure is reaching the end of its lifespan--but isn't being replaced). also guessing that by the 2030s access to drinkable tap water will be a mainstream class issue, with low-income & unstably housed people increasingly forced to rely on expensive bottled water when they can't afford the up-front cost of at-home filtration--and with this being portrayed in media as a "moral failing" and short-sighted "choice," rather than a basic failure of our political & economic systems. really hope i'm just being alarmist, but plenty of this already happens in other countries, and the U.S. is in a state of decline, so. here's praying this post ages into irrelevance. timestamped April 2023
