My Phantom design for my latest fic series was actually inspired by an old drawing that I really hated, so I figured it was only right to redraw it with the new design!

WUPDATE: Desecrate

Wednesday, April 3rd || I'm Gonna Become Stabby

Okay so starting off strong here: my laptop died this weekend. I had a meltdown friday when it bluescreened, eating ~10k words between my short stories and Desecrate. Thought that would be the worst of it, then when I recovered some of my writing the whole thing died. I panicked for a while on what to do, and honestly we're still figuring it out. For now, I'm using my iPad to write on while waiting for my work's IT to revive my laptop (or give me a new one. i refuse to hold on hope that it will be revived)

All in all, this past week and a half have been hell for me. But, a hell I can tolerate, seeing as I wrote a lot these past few days. I'm not pulling up my iPad right now, but I'm somewhere around 12.5k words on Desecrate!

I also made some announcements on twt and insta for Easter, the biggest of which is for Desecrate: a tentative date for the cover reveal. Hopefully maybe potentially May 9th, Ascension.

I can't guarantee that as I don't have the cover in my hands yet, but that's the day we're shooting for!

Anyways, on to some snippies!

It’s a quick thing, jacking off in the shower. But Kit doesn’t find the release he was desperately hoping for. The need for something more wiggles under his skin, leaving his unsatisfied as he finishes up in the shower and towels himself down. Shame crawls it’s way up his throat as he stands naked in front of the mirror. Shame at what he just did in the shower, shame at the fact that it wasn’t enough for him, at the way his body looks—no longer resembling the woman his mother sees him as, but not resembling a man either. Kit runs his fingers over his scars, twins under his pectorals and a large vertical scar leading from his belly button down. Proof that he believed God made a mistake, evidence of his Sin. Kit is lost in his thoughts when he feels it, a faint and cold touch on his chest. Sharp claws tracing the pattern of his scars, running over the ridges and making him shiver. When the phantom touch dives to trace his hysterectomy scar, he thinks he can hear that strange melody from his dream again. “In my image…”

Kit blushes and leans his head back into the water to rinse his hair. “Yeah, him. He found out I’m back in town and came over to say ‘hi’.” “Looks like he said more than 'hi' if the bruises around your neck are anything to go by,” her voice is teasing, a smirk on her face as she ribs him. “Shut up,” Kit squeaks, raising a hand to touch the sensitive skin. “Anyways, he came over. We did some catching up. I woke up to a cold bed after having another weird ass dream.”

follows an Anishinaabe girl who who’s the top player in the VR game, and is constantly fighting to keep her place against the misogynist neo-nazi group in second place

as well as her real life, dealing with being a shy and self-conscious teen growing up on the Rez, and her brother having cancer

and a Uyghur boy who’s moved to her community from China after finding acceptance in an online community (even when he doesn’t agree with their more extreme views) - but when he gets to know Bugz, he has to decide who truly deserves his loyalty

great mix of sff and culture, the future while also very real community traumas of the past (and present)

I don't think I have anything written currently on hand that's fully up to date or organised so I guess I'll just try rewrite stuff here (it is a bit long even though I've summarised a lot forgive me)

Auto was born into the Octarian army, life in the domes was all he knew. He didn't have parents that he knew of or grew up with, but it's not something that ever bothered him since, again, this was all he knew. He would attend school there, and made two friends for life, and they'd quickly become inseperable.

They were great friends with their own interests. One who enjoyed mechanics and machinery, the other who enjoyed botanics and tending to the foliage, and Auto, who enjoyed strategy in combat. Each of them were rather quiet, the second one not learning how to speak until late into her infancy, but they all fit together perfectly. (Related; They are all autistic.)

As he grew up a little, he realised in his childhood that his goal would be to become an elite soldier. He always admired and took interest in the high ranks of his sector and their skills in combat. Years and years later, around 16, he'd achieve this, becoming one of the top ranking elites of his sector as he'd always wanted. He had practiced with a wide array of weapon classes, and found chargers and blasters to be his favourite.

A year into this, he realised he felt a little aimless without any further goals. He had just achieved the biggest thing he could go for in the underground, what else is there? He then learned of the surface, and this idea grabbed him. He'd go to the surface and seek out new opportunities. His friends were on board with this idea, and they wanted to make a new life together. One of his friends managed to make contact with the surface, contacting someone who would help retrieve them. Things were looking pretty good.

To make the already long story short, Auto escaped. He stayed with the friend from the surface - who would be my other main oc, Boro - and would await the arrival of the others. He was absolutely captivated by the surface and how different it was, but his wonder was held back by the anxiety of waiting.

In this time, he met Hiro, who was a friend of Boro's. He'd end up spending a lot of time with him, getting introduced to turf wars and anarchy battles through him. Auto quickly learned of his love for Tower Control, and found a favourite weapon in the Custom Splattershot Jr. He would also learn of his new feelings for Hiro. He had never felt something like this before, though, and didn't know what the hell he was feeling or how to deal with it, and it caused him a ton of emotional turmoil.

In the end, only one of his two friends had successfully escaped, the other being lost to sanitisation. This loss only worsened Auto's mental state. This was his lifelong best, dearest friend, and he lost her. He blamed himself for this to no end. He is only around 18 or 19 here - he still blames himself for it to this day.

The people close to him do their best to help him, though, and his mental state recovers slightly. Around this time, Hiro and Auto learn of their feelings for one another, and get into a very loving, close relationship, and his life basically stabilises from here onwards.

He's 23 now, and he has finally felt a semblance of happiness for the first time since the underground. A boyfriend who is his absolute world, friends he cares about and can rely on, goals and achievements he can feel proud of, hobbies he can enjoy... He feels happy. Despite it all, though, he still blames himself for the loss of his friend.

Sometimes I hate Minecraft.

If you know what problem I was having based off of this picture, but also believe this is how the game should work, you have a vitamin D deficiency, and also I hope that when you're burning in hell, Satan punishes you with the frustrated screams of all the novice Minecraft players that gave up ever trying to figure out redstone because they were too busy having a life to ever learn what "quasi connectivity" is, making it impossible for them to know why their logically built contraption isn't working.

BTW, my problem was the piston being extended despite not being directly powered. This is how I fixed it:

In case you're confused about what changes actually solved the problem, here's what you're missing: I had to move the topmost redstone line over so it'd stop powering the air above the piston.

Yes; All you normal Minecraft players read that correctly. The piston. Was being powered. By air.

And! There are people that would lose their minds if Mojang ever considered fixing- oh I'm sorry, changing it to work more intuitively. I mean, it's only like this because of a bug that treated certain blocks as if they were doors, and it's only still in the game because a bunch of pasty grown men whined that if it was changed then it'd break their ludicrously overcomplicated builds, but... whatever. Shut-ins screech more loudly than children I guess.

Yeah whenever I put on an outfit I feel good about I take a mirror picture and then periodically I go through my camera roll and add them to my outfit catalogue in my notes app. For example I just added this outfit to my catalogue which I love.

These are a few pages. I have 240 outfits catalogued rn. Some repeats get in there but they just means I like it a lot

Very unsure if you saw what was happening with Baghera and the mistranslation that spread with her, Antoine and a few other FR CCs (I don’t remember who else was in the convo, I think Mythos was there, but very very unsure my apologies :(( ). But after viewing the clip and revisiting the topic several times on my own, the “joke”/“comment” to add a translator to TDLSMP if they revamp the server wasn’t supposed to be in a negative light and was most likely a positive call back to the translator feature of QSMP. Which, ngl, would be awesome to see happen cause I (and probably many others) would love to view more French content become widely accessible with translation plugins.

People heavily took it out of context due to the english updates fan account for Bagz due to the admins of the account only clipping that section of the conversation and adding “/j” to Baghera’s comment about a translator, which was in bad taste, especially since there was no context added nor explanation as to what they were actually referring to in the clipped section. And due to the mass hate and/or confusion of many viewers, the updates account ultimately removed it (I went back several times to verify if it was in the account and if they had added context but saw that it was just scrapped and removed with no further explanation).

After the events of the mistranslation from the updates account, plus Baghera even coming onto twitter to explain herself, many French fans took their time to explain what happened properly (I gratefully thank them for this cause it actually helped many who were confused about the mistranslation from the updates account) and a space was even made by Spanish speaking fans to further explain the error that was created from the mistranslation with the help of a French viewer named Dune, and the host of the space even tried to mellow out any angry listeners with the saying "All the CCs are friends, stop assuming the worst and any issues that they have with each other is sorted behind closed doors. We don't know them, they know each other better than we as viewers do because they are friends." [Rough translation of what the host said but hopefully I stated it clearly]

All-in-all, unfortunate circumstances occurred thanks to mistranslation, but a majority of the community is trying to be better and actually hear each other out, but sadly the minority that is full of blind hate is the loudest and puts down the worst image for the rest. :( -Anon 💫

Just a full on hate train on Baghera for saying it would be great to have a translator if they ever brought their smp back. Don’t even wanna discuss what was said about her and other french ccs because it’s just disgusting. The fact that french qsmptwt users had to go around trying to explain to everyone that it wasn’t anything bad and that people shouldn’t harass baghera for it, especially when you have no context/don’t know the language…. I wouldn’t have that kind of patience 🫡

Only good thing is that it gave me the opportunity to feed my blocklist /hj

Isn’t it nice to see that when the admins situation isn’t enough to drive away all ccs and fans alike, the Quackity fans will make sure to make the qsmp space inhabitable for anyone who stayed ! /sarc Between this and the bullying of Sunny’s admin two days ago they sure are on a run lately.

Note : If anyone is confused about what TDLsmp is, it’s the name fans came up with to talk about a minecraft server Antoine, Baghera, Etoiles and others french ccs played on for a little while I think two years ago ?

TDL means Team du Lundi aka Monday Team, and it refers to their friend group who stream every monday together on different multiplayer games (Lethal Company, Worms, Golf Gang, and many many more).

The server was vanilla and just a way to play Minecraft together, nothing special really, but it was very very fun to watch ! And so yesterday they talked about the possibility of it returning, but modded this time, and maybe with a translator so their international viewers can watch and understand it !
