Sincerely hoping that Citlali is a four star or something so I can get her easily, but then again it’s hard to tell who’d be a four star and who’d be a five star from just looks alone in my opinion.
All my money is on Iansan being a four star with Kachina, which I’m not complaining about— I want Iansan the most right now.
I really like Xilonen and I think I like Mavuika. I would like her more if she fit the Genshin aesthetic more. Like other than the obvious disappointment in skin tone, I feel like Mavuika just… doesn’t look like a Genshin character. She looks closer to ZZZ’s aesthetic in my opinion, it’s a flashy leather jumpsuit. I would’ve liked something more… in line with the theme?
But yeah, I’ll probably pull for Mualani if I like her enough when we meet her, I’m betting Kachina will be the free four star. I’m hoping Citlali will be four star but if not she’ll probably be a 5 star in 5.1 or something. I hope Iansan is on Xilonen’s banner and not Chasa’s because I reaaaaaally don’t like Chasa’s design. Everything about her is a no for me. I would rather get Geo Lion Lady and the fire child over… beta Clorinde. I already have the superior Clorinde anyways. No hate to anyone who likes Chasa, I just don’t see the appeal at all…

➥ other than you, Rover is probably one of the most happiest person in Sol-III now that you got your own body!
➥ because honestly, they had a rough time partly sharing their body with you, it was like not having any privacy! they could hear your thoughts, and you could hear theirs. They were like the anchor to your disembodied soul that either floated around nearby or was in your body like an imaginary voice in the head.
➥ but despite the rough bumps you started off with the main character, you two became very close, forcibly perhaps with being forced to be so close to each other, but still, genuinely close.
➥ so when you were a bit disoriented having your own body they easily picked you up in a princess carry with a bright smile on their face.
➥ "it's finally nice to see you in solid form." they remarked with a chuckle.
➥ feeling a bit weak you were still able to respond, "you don't have to carry me y'know" your voice was soft as you stared at their piercing golden orbs as if the blood of the gods spilled to create such beautiful eyes.
➥ the Rover hummed thoughtfully "I know, just want to."
➥ some part of them knew they'd miss being so close to you.
➥ "can't believe I have my own body, now I have to walk all over the place like you." you scrunched up your nose in annoyance at the thought. Rover laughed at your musings, that was the first thing you were worried about after getting your own body?
➥ "you're worried about the journey but not the tacet discords?" they pointed out and you flailed your arms in frustration "ugh you're right!"
➥ "just stick with me and I'll protect you" they said holding you tighter.
Jiyan.ᐟ
takes place when you end up getting separated with the Rover and ended up getting your own body. probably around the time when Rover was building that huge gun thingy to get close to the threnodian.
➥ The minute you are forcibly separated from the Rover, no longer a specter, no longer a voice with no body to its name, the first one who is over their shock would be General Jiyan.
➥ you feel a bit disoriented, your body swaying as you felt dizzy, your body leaned a bit too far in one direction and suddenly you find yourself falling.
➥ oh but don't worry! well toned arms wrapped themselves around you preventing any injuries.
➥ "Thank you" you managed to say as you steadied yourself, his arms no longer enveloped you but a hand was on your shoulder instead.
➥ "It is no problem." he curtly replied "you seem to be disoriented, it seems that getting your own body has exhausted you." his brows furrowed as the more doctor and medic side of him appeared.
➥ After a bit of silence on his side, he opened his mouth only to offer assistance "would you like me to carry you to the medics? or perhaps the Rover?" ah that's right, you got separated.. you shook your head despite how tempting the offer was, you couldn't take advantage of the general. "no it's okay, you're hurt, I can endure it until I meet with the others again."
➥ but Jiyan wouldn't take no for an answer, "are you doubting my strength?" he asked amused as he crossed his arms, flexing his muscles. You gulped shaking your head fervently 'no'
➥ and that's how you ended up in his arms, perhaps Jiyan was right that you needed to be carried. You find your eyelids grew heavy as you leaned on his chest.
Scar.ᐟ
tw: kidnapping? (depends whether you don't want him to take you or not.)
takes place during the awakening of the threnodian.
➥ Scar would watch (stalk) you and Rover after your first encounter, the jail of Jinzhou wasn't enough to stop him.
➥ with the whole fuss of the Threnodian's awakening being expedited he was able to easily slip out.
➥ course he would have preferred to have fight his way out of the place and cause havor like the maniac he is, he decided it would be quicker to slip out so he could get to you and Rover quicker.
➥ so when he arrived to find you, rover and jinyan, he was pleasantly shock to find you in the middle of getting your body.
➥ the powerful frequencies you let off and the reverberations that flowed through after had him excited!
➥ The general and the rover were preoccupied with defending you from the gathering TD's that were attracted to your raw power left them distracted, letting him easily close the distance between you.
➥ you look at the palm of your hands, shock as you truly had a physical body. and yet you were unable to savor it as you could hear a familiar voice.
➥ one dripping with charisma and an underlying tone of insanity. "Scar" you turned to find him walking closer and closer to you, you were shock considered he wasn't supposed to appear in this part of the story since canonically he was in jail at this moment.
➥ "it's nice to see you again little lamb, or should I say bambi?" he tilted his head, an amused smile on his face as he looked at you up and down, his heterochromia eyes settling on your legs.
➥ you followed his stare to realized your legs were shaking, probably being barely able to stand as you were. Your cheeks quickly turned red in embarrassment, "I have a name you know" you hissed and ended with a pout.
➥ you turned around trying to find Jiyan, Rover or anybody to help you. As much as you liked Scar and doted on him every chance you got, you felt vulnerable and you were unsure of his motives regarding you.
➥ "Aw come on little lamb, won't you please pay attention to me?" you jolted to find him right behind you, face near your ears as you could practically feel his breath fanning you. He had an adorable pout on his face, almost looking like a kicked puppy.
➥ before you could reply a sound resembling a growl got your attention as you both turned to find tacet discords approaching you.
➥ as much as Scar liked fighting, and wasn't too afraid of tacet discords he clicked his tongue annoyed "I won't let our little date get interrupted again." he declared as he bent down, and before you could object, he carried you in his arms.
➥ "hey- where are you taking me?!" you yelled as he began moving, dodging attacks sent at him by the tacet discords who wanted you. Scar merely laughed "hold on tight!" and you did, wrapping your arms around his neck as he used his legs to either run, dodge or attack.
➥ boy Rover and Jiyan will be in for a shock when they find you gone.

The King of All Birds
The Eurasian wren, also known as the northern wren or the winter wren (Troglodytes troglodytes) is found throughout Asia, most of Europe, and northern Africa; it has also been introduced into parts of North America. This bird can thrive in a variety of habitats, but prefer deciduous or coniferous forests with plenty of bushes and leaf cover.
The northern wren is on the small side, only 9 to 10 cm (3.5 to 3.9 in) long with a wingspan of 13–17 cm (5.1–6.7 in), and weighing at most about 10 g (0.35 oz). It is brown all over; darker on top, and mottled tan on the underside, wings, and tail. Males and females are nearly identical, but in the breeding season they can be distinguished by a brood patch on the females or a swollen cloaca in the males. T. troglodytes has several calls and songs, the most common of which is a "tic-tic-tic" sound.
Breeding season throughout Europe and Asia is in the spring and summer, from March to August. Males maintain a territory, reinforcing its boundaries with complex songs and building several nests to draw in females. When a female arrives, he gives her a tour of his territory and, if she's impressed, she allows him to mate. After this, she lays 5-7 eggs in one of the males' nests and proceeds to incubate them while he provides food. At about 15 days, the eggs hatch. Generally the young are cared for by the female, while the male seeks out another mate, but some monogamous males will stay with the nest until the chicks have fledged at about 16 days old. Winter wrens only live about 2 years old in the wild, though some individuals may live as long as 4 years.
The eurasian wren is active primarily during the day, and when not defending their territories or seeking out mates, they are foraging for insects. Their primary prey are moths, butterflies, millipedes, and larvae-- and, in riparian areas, aquatic invertebrates. Birds of prey like northern harriers are the primary predators of T. troglodytes adults, while nests are targets for crows, jays, and weasels.
Conservation status: Due to its large range and population size, the Eurasian wren is considered Least Concern by the IUCN. In fact, studies and monitoring programs indicate that the number of winter wrens is increasing.

I know. I sound crazy. But let me speak
The AQ is supposedly taking a break in 5.2, so we’ll be left on some sort of cliffhanger at end of 5.1. What else to play the role of story in the middle of Natlan except Mondstadt?
Think about it. Natlan and Mondstadt are connected in so many ways.
They’re both regularly attacked by the Abyss. Natlan contains the Mare Jivari, which is specifically a windless land, a land where Venti holds no power. One of Mondstadt’s most significant figures, Vennessa, was of Natlanian origin. Both of them have resurrectors (Natlan has its Ancient Name bearers, and Mondstadt will soon have Durin resurrect).
And what else? Venti has been REPEATEDLY mentioned in recent quests - once in late Fontaine (with his title of prodigal son) and again in the Natlan chapter of the Archon Quest itself. So they’re keeping Mondstadt in the back of our minds.
Oh, and you know what? Themes with death and new life. I’ve talked before about Venti’s themes with death and new life (his repeated appearances with Hu Tao, his backstory centered around his grief for his dead friend the Nameless Bard (in fact, him becoming a fully fledged god in the wake of that grief), the Weinlesefest). If the Shade of Death does not appear in Natlan, I will be damned. I will also be damned if Venti had absolutely 0 link to the Shade of Death.

(M/N) woke up and immediately felt something on his eye, and he immediately got up and looked in the mirror. It was an eye patch, it had a unique design to it, and it was on the eye that he had just lost due to Dottore going on with his outburst.
He could only sigh, it's not like he can complain about it. He does not want to lose both of his eyes and become permanently blind, no. Furthermore, he looked at the time and saw that it was four in the morning, the perfect time to get ready and not deal with the Doctor complaining that he was late.
Whilst (M/N) got ready, Dottore was at his lab, running around too excitedly for his own well-being, even his clones were confused. He was making an unknown mixture that specifically does something to your mind and body, and he was making sure that the effects were going to be strong and effective.
“Sir, I'm here.”
A voice called out from the other side of the door, before coming in and shutting it, making the light from the outside peer in for only just a second.
“Good, now sit down on that chair, we're still not done from yesterday, traitor.”
(M/N) quietly sat down without hesitation, not wanting another 'incident' happening. Dottore then went on with his work, wanting to perfect the unknown mixture, and when (M/N) saw what it looked like, he was pretty… Nervous per se, not every day you see the Doctor being passionate about something, which was unsettling, to say the least…
“Put on this blindfold, you brat. You're going to be my new lab rat for the next few days, we'll see if you can survive.”
“Yes, sir.”
(M/N) reluctantly put on the blindfold, not wanting to question any further, because if he does, Archons know what this man would do to him.
He suddenly got his mouth forced open and a cold liquid went into his mouth, and with no choice, he had to swallow it, the liquid itself was disgusting, he wanted to throw up, and his stomach felt weird, his body felt hot, his body was sensitive— wait what?
“What are you feeling right now?”
“Sensitive.”
“Good, anything else?”
Dottore knew what he wanted, it was right in front of him.
“… Needy… Hot…”…
(M/N) was inhaling and exhaling at this point, what was in that mixture? He doesn't want to know, he just wanted this feeling to end.
“It's working… Do you want that feeling to end?”

Dottore walked forward and took his blindfold off, the cloth now sitting at his neck. Now (M/N) could fully see the Doctor, when did he become so hot—?

He wasn't tied up or anything, so what was stopping him from ravaging the man in front of him? Fear. The same man was grinning at (M/N)'s state, it was amusing for him to see that his own very emotionless assistant was making faces like this.
Dottore slowly took everything off until he was only wearing his shirt and some pants, and it made (M/N)'s mind go hazy, almost making his dick do the talking, but he held himself back because of the same reason— fear.
“What are you waiting for, hm? I want this experiment to be done as soon as possible.”
And that's all it took for (M/N) to pin him to the desk that was conveniently behind Dottore, and it made him groan out of pain, but he let the male take the lead, curious and excited about what he will do.
You started licking and biting his neck, making him squirm under you, he's quite impatient, isn't he? It looks like he's been waiting for this very moment to happen, but you were too focused on making him feel good, as well as yourself.
“Y-yeah, that's it, ravage me like you want it.”
Dottore panted and squirmed, his pants started to feel uncomfortable, he wanted to take them off, but you were preventing him from moving
(M/N) took his shirt off, along with Dottore's and it looked marvelous. His body was littered with miniature scars and some past bruises.

your giggles and sweet voice encouraging akaashi to join you lying down on the snow, swaying your arms and legs on the bed of the silvery ground, leaving impressions of your actions in the shape of what looked like an angel.
akaashi eventually agreed, lying down next to you, just observing you and watching you play around in the snow like a child. there something so pure about this moment, akaashi thought; all his worries melted like the snow on his back while he watched you and heard you laugh. you gazed back at him, smiling sweetly. taking his hand, you continue to leave marks of the two of you having been here in the snow, guiding him on how to make a snow angel.
akaashi was really awkward about it at first, believe it or not, he had never made a snow angel before. "it was quite common for me to get sick, actually, i couldn't stay out in the snow for long," akaashi explained, looking into your eyes with his own navy blue ones. "really?" you asked, pressing your hands to his face, checking if he was getting warmer or colder, but he was actually getting warmed up by you instead.
akaashi's face flushed a bit by his cheeks and ears, and he told you he would be fine, he'd get himself warmed up later. "am... am i doing this right?" akaashi asked you awkwardly, shyly and stiffly flailing about in the snow, unsure if the marks he'd leave resembled an angel at all. you nodded, grinning wider. "it'll be a lovely angel you'll leave behind in the snow, keiji," you remarked, making akaashi smile a little.
"it'll only look lovely as long it's with its partner," he insisted, his clothed hand hovering over yours, unsure if he could hold your hand or not. though you two have been going out for a long while already, akaashi never failed to feel anxious or hesitant if he could be all lovey dovey with you. you chuckled and gently interlocked hands with him, reassuring him with your beaming smile that, of course, he could always hold you whenever he felt like it.
"and i know we're lovely... together," you muttered in a soft voice, kissing akaashi's cheek, making his entire face erupt in a cute shade of red and pink bashfulness. akaashi smiled wider and nodded. "of course we are... i love you, my dear," he whispered, leaving a soft peck on your cheek that warmed your face up and made you giggle in glee at the affection your boyfriend was showing you right now.
akaashi never knew he needed this, this quiet little moment with you and him, just laying down on the snow and feeling all his worries melt into a patch of earth from the fluffy white that was once there, leaving in its stead the mark of an angel; your angel.

New Game+ Tutorial
"I don't remember this part of the story." "It's been so long since I played X expansion." "What happened during that raid again?" "Who was this character?" "I story skipped the MSQ/job quests so I don't know what happened and who these people are!"
There's answers to this, friends. Not only is the game's own Unending Journey (in inn rooms, or as furnishing in your FC or private rooms/homes) able to replay many cutscenes, and there's the completed quest log, but there are places online, such as Garland Tools and the FFXIV Game Script, that keep most (not all) of the quest text handy.
But if you want to relive those quests, and/or get the side dialogues and replay (or first time play!) the experiences, as of Shadowbringers 5.1 there's a feature called New Game+ to allow that.
New Game+ (or NG+) will let you replay past questlines, at your current level (which makes it go pretty fast in a lot of cases). There is No experience or rewards to gain through this feature--no using it to level alt jobs. It purely exists to allow experiencing, or re-experiencing, completed content.
Once defeating the Ultima Weapon and Lahabrea at level 50 in ARR's finale of 2.0, you can go to Vesper Bay and find the Wistful Whitebeard.

Once you've unlocked the feature by talking to him, you get a new menu option in your Duty menu (the exclamation point icon), right between Duty Recorder and Hall of the Novice.

Once you select the feature it brings up a menu of options; it usually defaults to Main Story Quests, but I also have a paused replay under "Suspend" in progress. There are also options that match other quest interfaces, like your Journal or the Unending Journey; Chronicles of a New Era for raids and trials, Side Story for quests like Hildibrand, the Scholasticate, Role Master Quests, Void Quests, and Chronicles of Light (story important side quests, like Tales of the Dragonsong War, Tales from the Shadows, Tales of Newfound Adventure). Tank, Healer, DPS, Crafting, and Gathering quests also have their own categories.

Each Expansion MSQ is broken into parts; usually 2 parts for the x.0 main expansion, and then 2 parts for the patches. They're only available after x.0 or the patch stories are complete.
Also notice the "Help" icon in the top right of the NG+ overlay; it opens a pretty comprehensive guide, divided into menu sections, about how the feature works.
ARR is split into 6 parts, and I do think 2.0 could use a rework in how they're split but for now, I'm selecting Part 6 to look for specific side dialogues that only exist in this timeframe.

Selecting Part 6 opens the description; the Crystal Braves have just been formed, to help the Scions with the turmoil still facing the realm--from refugees, to Garlemald's continuing threat, to primals and Ascians.

Once you do, the NG+ quest info shows up, usually around where ever you keep your MSQ quest marker. I hide my MSQ tracker once it's done, so NG+ fits in that same spot in the upper left for me.

It tells me to "Relive Past Adventures!", which expac and part I'm in, and which quest is my starting point in this case, "Traitor in the Midst", the start of the Ivy spy plotline in Patch 2.4.
From here it progresses as if I am back in that patch and on those quests, but without any experience or rewards. Aeryn's in her current level 90 appearance and skills, making it easy to skip past and handle level 45-50 enemies in these zones.

So long as I am in NG+, I cannot do current quests, plots, or other content; I can't complete new current level duties (duties new in NG+ itself are fine), I can't access the MB, my retainers, or the Unending Journey. I can manually Suspend my current playthrough, or performing some of these actions (like duties) will automatically suspend my NG+ playthrough. You also cannot start NG+ while doing certain things (like some quests, such as leves).
This also will not let you play through the start of other city-states, only your original starter town. Solo duties will let you choose their difficulty immediately, without having to fail them first like in normal play.
If I want to drop my NG+ save before I've finished the replay--maybe I found the info and screenshots I wanted--I can delete the save.
This is an extremely helpful feature that can be used to replay events and quests, either for the fun of it, or because you want to find specific dialogue or lore information that only exists in a specific point in game. Maybe you want to visit old friends lost along the way, or take new screenshots of your WoL as they are post-fantasia.
Maybe it's just been a few years, and you've found you've forgotten some things and want to remember how the story actually went, especially knowing what you know now.

WEEEEELLLL if you insist... My basic timeline break down is as follows: Keep in mind a few things are still kinda in flux, and if I ever contradict myself in the future literally don't worry about it
1.0 -> Calamity 6 months End point in the 4th umbral moon lining up with what is now the rising event (calamity memorial). Now that I’ve switched up arsay’s birthday, she turns 22 during the 1.0 campaign.
Calamity -> ARR 5 Years Arsay is stuck in the lifestream with the mother crystal for that 5 year period. Her memories of 1.0 and everyone's memories of her are largely erased. Arsay wakes up on a boat to Limsa Lominsa believing it is still her first voyage to Eorzea.
ARR->HVW ~6 months The base story including job quests take 3 months in total. The next three months are dedicated to the patches: Primal Trial series -> Coils of Bahamut -> 2.1. ~3 weeks Crystal Tower Raids, LoTA -> Syrcus Tower ~1 month 2.2-2.3 -> Crystal Tower Raid WoD ~2 weeks 2.4->2.55 ~3 weeks
HVW->STB ~4 months Main story starts a day or two after 2.55 and takes ~1 month total Patches take ~3 Months: 3.1->3.2->Void Arc ~1 month ->Arsay gets really into pvp and does nothing but frontlines and CC for a week -> 3.3->Alexander Raids->3.4 ~3 weeks Warring Triad->3.5->3.56 ~1 month
STB->SHB ~6 months Main story picks up a week after 3.56 and takes ~3 months time. (The first trip to Kugane takes 3 weeks off screen, after that travel time is reduced to a few days to a week using the East Aldenard Trading company boats (it would make sense that lolorito has better boat tech imo)) Next 3 month period is all the patches: Ivalice raids->Omega raids->4.1-4.2 ~1 month Eureka exploration->4.3->4 lords ~1.5 months 4.4->4.56 ~2 weeks
I know the ARR to Shadowbringers lead up is a mad dash but if it happened any slower, I don't believe Arsay would have be the character she is by that point. It is incredibly vital that she has almost 0 down time for herself. Her days and nights are PACKED full by choice. Job Quests, Hildebrand stuff,PvP, Hunts all get squeezed in throughout.
SHB->EDW ~8 months Main story picks up a few days after 4.56 and takes only 1.5 months to complete. Its a non stop emotional roller coaster for Arsay to be completely fine and normal about the whole time. Patches take 6.5 months, notably there is more downtime between patches: Chill relaxing after 5.0->Eden I->5.1->Neir raid I ->5.2-> role quest/shadowkeeper->Eden II-> 5.3 ->chill relaxing/recovery time for scions->Eden III->Neir raids II & III->Werlyt->Bozjia->5.4-5.55
EDW->DWT ~1 year (time spent in Elpis is not counted) ->Main story up to credit roll ~1 month ->Recovery time for injuries sustained in Ultima Thul ~4 months ->After credits - Scions Disband, everyone goes their separate ways - 1 day 🙃 ->Rest of the roll quests now that Arsay can mostly fight again(she can't cast mudras😞 ) ~1 month (casting>healing>tanking>aiming>bonus all role cap off) -> 1 month of nothing to do, Arsay still can't cast mudras, character development dictates she can no longer repress every bad emotion she feels, she has no proper coping mechanisms and quickly spirals into a mental breakdown over feeling like she's worthless and that no one will need her anymore now that the world isnt ending constantly and that she's worried without the scions being the scions everyone she cares about will slowly forget her and she'll be all alone again. Y'shtola and G'raha manage to get Arsay talking after a bit of self destructive lashing out. Things are sorta resolved?? Y'shtola and G'raha reassure her of a lot, and do their best to get it in her little kittycat head that she's not a burden on them even when she's sad. Not an automatic fix but Arsay does make the commitment to better her mental health and to work on her self image issues and communication skills! It'll be a process for her. ->5 days round trip to her home island in the southern seas to visit her Aunt and catch up ->6.1 starts when Arsay gets back from that ->Endwalker patch content takes up the final 5 months of that year period. Things are mostly interspersed with how they are released except for pandae which happens all in one go for Arsay between 6.3 and 6.4. Arsay has done all the variant dungeons, Tataru's grand endeavours, completed Island Sanctuary, and Myths of the Realm. ->The gap between 6.55 and 7.0 will probably only be about a week? Maybe 2? It depends how much it seems like the early arrivals to Tural have been there compared to Arsay and her crew.

boredom post lol, just dumping my thoughts into the void of what id like to see be added in whb but probably will never happen 🫠
1. separation of character and artifact banners
pretty self-explanatory. w the roster being huge and it only increasing from here there needs to be a distinction btwn characters and artifacts. im sure many ppl atp have gotten tired of the false hope they get when they get the gold glow from one of the kings at the beginning only to find out that its just one of his sig 💀💀
1.1 for patches w 2 l-rank debuts, have the selector work even before you hit pity
i get having the selector for if you reach hard pity, but its a bit greedy for it to apply only when you wasted so many seals (esp when f2ps dont get as much seals as they should). i would like the chance of knowing im guaranteed that char from the beginning even when i get the char early
1.2 if there exists an artifact banner, let there be a selector for which one you want to pull for
same logic as prev points. the rosters getting huge and ideally id like to have smth guaranteed for when i do my pulls
2. update characters' skill descriptions to be more specific
theres too many "[dmg/healing] is proportional to [some stat]." i want to see what that actual proportion is, like "dmg is proportional to x% of stat" where x is some number. or in skill menus theres "increase passive effect" like just tell me what youre specifically increasing in the passive !!!! i shouldnt need to actually lvl the passive to figure out whats changing, it should be stated from the get-go
3. have someone at the very least proofread the text
now i've seen my fair share of typos in games, hell, i literally play one where they couldnt even spell their own game name properly during the earlier yrs of its release lol *cough pgr cough*, but for the most part theyve resolved that issue and simple typos are easily spotted and fixed, but ive never seen there be this many typos or language switches mid-sentence. literally just 1 thorough proofread couldve easily solved most of these grammatical issues.
4. better optimization

im sorry but this is getting to like hoyo lvls of optimization w the fact that whb, which just hit half anni a month ago, is getting close to the amnt of storage an almost 3 yr old game has is wild to me (completely disregarding the fact that pgr has 3d models, l2d cgs, etc). imo, the amnt of storage whb holds should be around or even lower than what neural cloud has (which mind you, also has 3d models and l2d art 😭😭)
incoming very weird comparison but vanilla minecraft, a game that gets regularly updated, both on pc and pe take less than 1 gb
literally improving the optimization would make the game more accessible i.e. get more players to play since it wont take up a lot of storage !!! as someone who used to have 64gb or less on my phone, i could barely play any games on it bc nowadays they unnecessarily take up so much storage
5. add more daily/weekly tasks
keep the 9 daily requirements and 32 weekly requirements the same, just give more tasks for each so that we arent strictly set on doing specific ones. id like to see more stuff like "battle any stage x amnt of times" (emphasis on any, not a specific stage) or "interact w the lobby character at least once," just really anything that doesnt involve investing in a character or artifact. i feel like im wasting resources from lvling chars i dont wanna lvl, + we dont get enough tears per week to properly invest in so many characters at once.
giving more breathing room to hit the 9 and 32 achievements would put less stress on me cause then i'll know that if i cant complete one task, i can just do another and still be able to get all the rewards obtained for the week. im sure a fair share of ppl atp have missed out on getting all the weekly rewards bc they accidentally missed 1 daily task which is painful
5.1. get rid of the lvling artifacts weekly requirement and lvling characters requirement
briefly mentioned it prev but wanted to make its own section. its useless, especially when i ald have the artifacts that i need lvled up. its a dumb requirement that makes me waste mats and pulls just so i could lvl some artifacts properly.
6. get rid of the rng boxes and make them selectors
5.2 increase the daily/weekly rewards
dailies (w pancake shop): 9 tears, 7 key boxes (rng)
weeklies: 4 tears, 5 red keys, 2 yellow keys, 50 seals
i dont think i need to explain much here thats like scraping the bottom of a barrel for important mats/gacha currency
they suck. i do not want resources to be gacha too
7. make all shops cheaper
self-explanatory. everything is too expensive (esp in red gems shop) and therefore is borderline inaccessible unless if you hoard mats or 💳
7.1 add the ability to convert red gems to seals
red gems have very little use now ever since seals were introduced. id like them to have some important use if we keep getting a certain amnt of them every week. we can covert them to red/yellow keys, so by that logic we should also be able to convert them to seals too
8. get rid of uncommon/useless currencies
pretzels, artifact enhancement stones, and blue guilty gems are the 3 that come to mind. ik pretzels were originally supposed to be from the friends system, but that was removed a bit after launch and still hasnt showed up despite pb promising itd be launched around this time. aside from that the other 2 serve little to no use, as artifact stones dont lvl up the artifact all that much and blue gems died when seals became a thing
9. auto-clear for story stages
i mean that after getting a perfect clear on a stage, then have auto-clear be an option. since candy boxes are farmable through story, i end up falling asleep or getting bored of having to sit through fighting the same stage like 20+ times a day. this is honestly one of the more nit picky ones in this list lol, i just play the stages in the bg while i do other stuff but ideally id like to get stuff done asap
10. make lvling characters cheaper
we only get 13 tears a week from dailies + weeklies + pancake shop. assuming you start from scratch and want to get to char lvl70, it takes 3 weeks to get there without the help from other shops. thats almost a month for 1 character, it shouldnt take that long to invest in someone (it also shouldnt be that expensive 💀)
if we're getting such low numbers of essential materials per week, decrease the character lvl prices to reflect that. or alternatively, increase the number of mats we get per week to easily lvl characters
10.1 increase the character lvl cap to 100
40 tears for one level is not worth it, having the cap be 100 would make it feel like its worth it (not really tbh, its still real expensive when lvl70 provides more than enough to clear all content 💀)
10.2 add a resource stage for pies
getting pies only through shop (rng boxes btw) and events isnt enough to compensate for how much skill lvls cost. either decrease the skill lvl prices or increase the pie income to balance it out
11. have the ability to backread txt msgs before choosing a reply
self-explanatory. the game doesnt allow you to backread before choosing a reply which sucks :/
as someone who usually cant process txt after reading it once i kinda just sit at the replies like :/ girl i forgor what he just said and i cant go back and read so i'll just leave and re-enter the chatroom again ig
12. have the game automatically lock l-rank artifacts as soon as you get them
ik theres a lock feature, but you need to lock all artifacts manually. id rather the game lock l-rank artifacts for me once i get them so that i dont accidentally recycle them when cleaning out my inventory and then i manually unlock them later if i want to
13. give seals, keys, or just any sort of general gacha currency as compensation rewards
receiving only ap feels like a slap to the face, and seals/any other currency would only be given out if there was smth that was severely (and i mean very severely) hindering everyones gameplay. the ap given isnt even that much either which is like rubbing salt in the wound
14. decrease ap requirement in stages
considering stages can go up to 32ap as a req (given this is only seen in events, the usual hovers around 25 but my point still stands), you cant really do all that much if the cap hovers around 250 (give or take, i havent seen anyone w 300ap yet so 250 im considering is the avg rn for endgame players). w each stage at highest difficulty being 25-30+ap, we essentially only play like 10 stages max before needing to wait.
1 solution ppl would have in mind is to just buy the 300ap from red gems shop or buy more ap from selecting the ap counter directly to get more for the day, but i want smth thats more accessible. i shouldnt need to pay w some currency to get literally the bare necessity of being able to play this game.
i think keeping all stages at 15ap is perfect, hell, even 20 would also work since w 250ap you can get more than 10 runs in one session
15. make the battles less reliant on needing certain l-ranks
this is just smth ive noticed when testing out stages w other chars or just playing realm of seraphim lol, but theres a huge imbalance w l-ranks vs s and a+-ranks. theres also a huge imbalance when it comes to the classes too (i'll get to that in a bit)
take beel's camp for example, there is no one in beels camp that can essentially mimic or closely mimic what beel does kit-wise (dmg ik will be different cause lower ranking and all). imo, the go-to non-l-rank alternative for beel isnt even from his camp, its from belphegors !!!! (if you didnt catch on im talking abt andrealphus lol)
or take mammon for example, no one in his camp (as of making this post) deals dmg on ult, they only either shield themselves or take the hit for ppl on the team, which tends to do more harm than good.
element-wise, take juno for example. juno being an l-rank fire unit significantly changed how fire team worked, i.e., you can actually use that team to clear most story content now (minus water enemies lol). that should probably put into perspective of 1. how l-ranks are a bit too important in this game and 2. how unbalanced light as an element is compared to every other element
15.1 give us more tanks and healers

why do we have so many close-rangers??? so many marksman????
we have such little supports (tanks + healers) that it makes me fully convinced the gameplay pb wants to achieve is full on dps and not yk a well-balanced team w dps AND support. dont get me wrong if players want to full on dps that is totally fine by me, the issue im having is that the devs appear to want a full on dps team, completely ignoring the idea of how to properly balance a game where they also introduce supports. of course there are marksman/close-rangers that can support i.e. buff the team (juno, dantalian, ronové, phenix, the list of examples goes on), but im specifically talking abt the classes in general. for the most part, marksman and close-rangers are usually dps while tanks and healers are usually support.
if youre gonna introduce supports in this game, 1. have more than just 1 tank unit for each non-light element, 2. make the healing be higher than 1% of a char's hp, 3. have an equal amnt of tanks and healers as close-rangers and marksman.
the fact that if you dont have mammon as your designated tank or lucifer as your designated healer, youre essentially screwed over is wild to me. their camps' s/a+-ranks should be able to hold just as well without their kings. satans camp is the perfect example of that. chars like minhyeok (who is quite literally mini satan kit-wise lmao), gabriel, leraye, nostalgia leraye, hell even ppyong (the a+-rank ver, not juno lol) are all perfect alternatives for if you dont have satan and that is amazing. we currently dont have that for supports and i genuinely hope thatll change in the future
this game is very, VERY far from being at least somewhat balanced in my eyes. i really do wish for the best w this game but man as someone who loves to dissect gameplay down to the numbers, seeing all this gets real frustrating for me from time to time.

Nintendo just released the patch notes for Version 2.0: Chill Season 2022! There is a lot of stuff in there, including a Tenta Missiles nerf, so here is the link in case you’d like to read them yourself. If not, then allow me to break down what I think are the most significant changes:
The only direct changes to main weapons are that Tri-Stringer and Splatana Wiper now paint better.
Angle Shooter’s velocity was increased by 20%, and flies further before disappearing.
Zipcaster’s duration drain while using your main weapon was was reduced by two thirds. Go buck wild, folks.
Reefslider and Ink Vac’s explosion had their damage increased to 220 meaning they’ll now consistently splat through Squid Roll armor when hitting the central hitbox.
The one y’all have been waiting for, folks, Tenta Missiles can now not be charged again until all the missiles from the previous use have landed. This doesn’t sound like a lot, but it’s going to reduce missiles spam by like, a lot. I suspect we’ll see like, average missile output reduce by at least a third.
Undertow Spillway’s turf wars layout will now include a ramp into the base, opening up more of the stage for both teams.
Moving onto Salmon Run, Big Shots now move 30% slower, reducing the frequency of their attacks and making them vulnerable for longer as they return to the sea to reload.
Killer Wail 5.1 tracks better, Triple Inkstrike landing markers now trigger immediately upon hitting a salmonid, and both have had their damage increased by 25%.
Landing after using the inkjet and using Booyah Bomb now removes you as a valid target for Salmonid, meaning they won’t be waiting underneath you as you land for an easy splat.
Boss Salmonids have now been capped to a maximum of 15 on the stage at once to avoid the slowdown that occurs when too many of them are on stage at once. This won’t affect most players in any meaningful way.
A big change for Tri-Color turf wars: Regardless of the half-time standings, all teams now have a chance to attack or defend. Clout calculation for tri-color has also been changed.
If you win a x10, x100, or a x333 battle, your team’s photo will now show up on the pledge box, just like in Splatoon 2.
You can enter photo mode in recon mode, even when in recon mode with other players.
This is just a taste of all the stuff in the patch notes. Overall, I think this is a very good patch, if a bit more cautious than I’d like. There’s some stuff I definitively feel like should have received changes. Neither Crab Tank nor Splash-o-matic received any changes, despite their dominating presence in competitive play. On the other side of the coin, Toxic Mist, Point Sensor and the Brellas are glossed over, despite definitively needing a bit of a boost. That said, I am happy with this patch, and am looking forward to seeing how these changes and the new weapons shake up the meta going forward.
