Well, aside from the big mess that went down at Prom, I’d say I had a relatively fun night for someone who didn’t even want to go in the first place. Not to mention, everyone looked smoking and our king and queen were perfectly chosen. In other news though, my mom and I got to spend a lot more time together for this Mother’s Day and at the hospital of all places. Enough about me, though, how’s your Mother’s Day going?

So I signed up for the prom committee and I’m actually pretty excited about it. I’ll be in charge, amongst others, of the decoration of the place and also the budgets, which is going to be a challenge because it’s not like we’re exactly swimming in money over here but.. We’ll make it work. Prom can’t be a flop this year, a lot of you are graduating.

So… besides that whole… situation towards the end, prom was kind of nice. Don’t you think? Like, the king and queen were great, music wasn’t terrible, and even though the punch was spiked with some bad shit, it still did the trick. All in all, a good night, right?

You know that saying, “theres nothing like sleeping in your own home” or whatever? Well that saying is completely bullshit. Don’t get me wrong, I missed this place and all you and whatever, but not gonna lie, I prefer a hotel room with my own king sized bed then coming home to find the house trashed, my room booby trapped with every step I take, and my roof being claimed by my sisters.

So listen, I was reading the bible earlier, right? Which is totally weird as fuck, especially for me, I know, but anyway, I was looking at it and like, some of the stuff in there is so confusing. Obviously the stuff about like, homosexuality being bad is weird, but dude, there are like, old laws in there. Not even commandment things but like, just general laws that people had to follow. Like it explicitly tells you not to marry anybody in your family, right? Totally fucking common sense -- but apparently not fifty billion years ago. Basically, I’m blacklisting religion.
