If you want to see Hobbit comic chapters early, and more concept art/deleted things/drawing tips/behind the scenes art—-soon I will launch a Patreon!

I prefer to *publicly* post my comics in massive full-chapter chunks every few months. But If you want to see pages “as I draw them,” usually around one page on a weekly basis, you will be able to subscribe to me there soon. :)

This will come with the understanding that the patreon pages are still “previews” and they may be heavily edited later on as I finish the chapter. (Sometimes I’ll see something that bugs me on page 1 after I finish page 15 and have to fix it!)

I will also post things related to my other upcoming art/comic projects, all of which have a similar aesthetic of “changing art styles to convey different narrators.”

If I ever take a hiatus from drawing or from updating the patreon, I will pause all billing for the month so that no one is charged.

My goal with this Patreon is to be extremely professional and accountable! I’m confident I’ll be able to run this very well!

Most of the things I post on the Patreon will also be posted publicly, eventually. But because I obsessively polish things (even the captions under posts of old art) they won’t be posted publicly for a longer amount of time. I don’t want people to feel left out if they can’t afford to pay a few dollars a month; this is just “early access” to slightly less polished stuff for the people who can.

On a personal level I would like for the Patreon to be able to cover the cost of Photoshop and a couple other art tools I use in my work, so that I’m no longer “paying” to draw this comic! :3

I haven’t yet launched the Patreon because I am busy filling it with a lot of concept art work/bonus art, to make sure it is worth subscribing to.

But yeee get excited! I hope some people are interested!

And I hope to have it ready by February 13th. :)

YEAHHH! IT BEGINS!

(If you’ve been wondering why I haven’t posted much in a hot second, it’s because I’ve been busy with packing up buncha buns zine stuff but ALSO this!!)

I’m now posting on Patreon! On it, I’ll be sharing all kinds of stuff such as works in progresses, doodles, sketches -- everyone who pledges also gets early access to ALL my works including comics. Also, any project that pops into my brain and I wanna start developing will be shared there too as exclusive content.

There’s already some work available, hehe sneaky peeky.

Later down the line, depending on how many people join, I want to start adding more rewards and goodies. But for now this will work like a little tip jar for folks who can and want to support me.

Hallo Freunde! I'm K. Wölfin (or you might know me as Woelf/Mama Katz elsewhere.) I'm a former in-house graphic designer who's gradually transitioning to the freelance side of the art world full time.

EDIT: 2/14/2024 The Patreon will be getting an overhaul and shifting more towards a videogame art focus. Currently it is predominantly Jak and Daxter fan work. I'd love to be able to focus on things like Baldur's Gate, Cult of the Lamb, Stardew, and Hades. Tier names will be changing, though the pricing will not. I'll also be working towards having booth merchandise, so some of my updates will be centered around that.

Okay so! Being late has risen to Extremely Likely Territory, but work is being done! Will very much be done by tomorrow assuming nothing explodes. A preview, and remember my deal when it comes to patrons unpledging before seeing the fill! just hit me up and I can confirm and send it to ya if you dont plan on pledging for september!

Also! I've decided that I will not be streaming this week. I currently owe one reward doodle, and have updated the bar. We did really well this month! and I hope it continues until i have enough to pay off all these god damn dental bills!

In tomorrow's announcement, I'll go in depth about how I'll handle the drawing suggestions on a per month basis.

I didn't puplished much works this month apart from your art requests that are so fun to draw, thank you for the great ideas as interacting with the fandom is one the coolest thing to do!

I've been working very hard these past nights to craft some other quality contents for next month, and my Patreon that will launch next Tuesday, on 1st November!

Official Patreon Launch

Hey, y'all! You most likely noticed me discussing Patreon here and there throughout the month - I did a soft launch but wanted to get it up and running properly before making an official announcement. So, here we are!

Patreon now offers subscription billing and I have activated it for my page. This means new patrons are no longer charged on the 1st on the month, starting today. Instead, like most subscriptions, patrons are charged again on the same day of the next month. For example, if you subscribed on the 27th of September, you would be charged again on the 27th of October.

My Patreon is live and the tiers are the same as the ones on Ko-fi. I revamped them a little to try and make them more affordable:

There are now 3 tiers:

$1 USD - Knight of Castelon

$3 USD - The Harbinger

$5 USD - The Monarch

Monthly short stories (1 per month, right now), access to the current, private Alpha Build of the game, and early access to the public demo are available for The Harbinger and The Monarch tiers.

Some other benefits include access to Patreon/ko-fi-only discord channels, a special discord role, and your name/username added to the game credits and detailed weekly dev blogs.

Right now there is September’s short story available (Constantine and James), some weekly dev blogs, and alpha build access. October’s short story is going to be about the night F and Felix left Castleon.
