I'm Danny G, Traveling photographer, visual artist and Entrepreneur.

My photography story started back in April of 2013, when I bought my first @sony DSLR , it was the A65 model and I absolutely loved it. I wanted to shoot photography, but didn't know what or even how to start, and I ended up slacking around for about three years.

I started becoming sick, so sick that I had to be hospitalized and over time, test after test later, they found that I had been sitting on a pretty bad stomach bacteria that was eating at my stomach lining. My doctor treated it, managed to clear it up, but the damage was already done. Still sick but not as bad, we did a few more tests, and found that my intestinal track is lined with tumors. Facing this, I feel into a deep depression and lost just about everything I had. Found myself homeless, with nothing but my camera gear, the clothes on my back and my bike, I road from Butteville Oregon all the way to Salem. My situation got so bad, I gave up, sold all my gear and felt even worse about myself. Feeling like all I could do was wash my hands of my dreams, I picked up a job at a crummy gas station. I ended up pumping the gas of a man who later became my mentor named Randall Thomas.

Randell ran his own small business and helped others find their passions. After spending six months being around entrepreneurs, getting to meet amazing people like John C. Maxwell and like mined people, I left my job. Thankfully, a friend gave me their camera, a Nikon D3200 to use to start my venture and that was all I needed.

I started Danny G Image, road my bike from Salem all the way to Portland, and wasn't going to let anything stop me from being a photographer!

Within the first thirteen months, I shot over fifthyfive concerts, got to meet amazing bands like HED PE, Orgy, Dope, Crazy Town, Motorgrater, and so many more!

I've faced hardships that, the past me would've gotten so upset with and given up over, that I'm proud of who I am today, even while living with the health I have.

Going into 2020, things are looking up, I've started getting back into seeing a doctor, hope to get everything fixed and do whatever treatment necessary soon.

Even in my darkest moment, facing cancer and mental illness, I found away to not let the light leave my sight and I believe that with me creating this blog, I'll be able to help others facing the same issues, chase after their dreams.

I'm Daniel Garcia aka Danny G, and this is my story. By no means am I a writer, but you can never start something and not learn to do it great along the way.
