I know that I really probably shouldn't be one to talk about these sorts of things but I don't see anyone else talking about it so. Maybe we, as people who say they're tolerant and accepting of everyone, shouldn't critisize anyone for anything that they can't change, no matter what feature of theirs it is, including people whose features are generally not the ones being shamed. Like I understand the need to make a reversal of who this metaphorical knife(?) is aimed at but maybe we shouldn't aim it at anyone. Maybe we should just put it down

I'm still fat. Still love to eat. I know I would shrinking a bit here and there though I still weigh the same but if you ask me why am I still doing all this? It's for my health.

Yes/No Questions

Hello, darling followers and random visitors to this blog.

As you know, I'm not a big fan of asking Yes/No questions when it comes to tarot. Tarot cards, by their nature, aren't the best fit for Yes/No questions. That doesn't mean that you can't ask those questions your deck, of course. I did ask Yes/No questions, too, in the past.

However, I have different tools to use when I need the answers yes or no. I like to use my pendulum for this. By the trial and error method I found out that the sway front-back is Yes and the sway left-right is No. I also have this pendulum board with numbers, letters, months, days in a week and zodiac signs on it but I haven't really tried to get that information from my pendulum so far.

I also have a Yes / No coin.

I must admit I like my pendulum as it often gives pretty sensible answers to my questions.

How about you? Do you use pendulum? What is your experience with it?

And would you like to have a Yes/No question game, where I would ask my pendullum?

I'm not a very bright or sensitive person for tarot, pendullums, etc... But I really want to try to communicate with Aphrodite (and I see that those are the most common and used methods to do so). So I was thinking: since I can't have such tools (because my family is very christian), is it ok to use online tarot readings like the ones that come with free interpretations to try and communicate with her?

Communicating with deities is as vast and open as space. Theres no right or wrong way to go about it. Just your way. So yeah try it out and see how it works!

Also some other options for you are shufflemancy and bibliomancy. 

Shufflemancy is used with your music library. You ask Aphrodite a question and then hit the shuffle button. The song that plays is her answer!

Bibliomancy is similar except you use books instead. You can pick any book you want, ask your question, open the book and the first line your eyes go to is your answer.

It was this collection of horror short stories. I can’t remember the title, but it was illustrated and it had The Pit and the Pendullum, The Cask of Amontillado, and The Black Cat. It’s what got me into Edgar Allen Poe! 

19: Do you prefer writing on a computer or longhand?

On a computer. I hate writing poetry or prose on paper. My hand cramps up from it and I usually fight through the pain so I can keep writing for as long as I have the idea. With a computer, I don’t have that problem and it’s wonderful

34: Describe your writing space.

I usually write on my bed. I’ll roll out my comfiest, fluffiest blankets and wrap myself up in those. I’ll have some music playing in another tap - always something instrumental since lyrics tend to distract me if its a song I like - and a mountain of pillows behind me to prop me up
