Decided to draw Thalia with the new casting! I loved Tamara in the Worst Witch and I think she will be a phenomenal Thalia. She’s also one of my favourite characters to draw. Haters can suck my stylus.

hc that piper looks way too much like silena and that’s why drew is immediately defensive against her. because let’s not forget that drew is silena’s little sister who felt so irreperably betrayed. and she knows that silena was manipulated, but if drew casts silena as a villain then she doesn’t have to deal with the agony that is grieving. so when piper comes she undoes all of that. piper is a wrecking ball that shreds whatever progress drew thinks she’s made. and not only does she look just like silena but she has the audacity to act like her too. how else is drew supposed to react. she doesn’t know what to do when her dead sister shows up at her door.

i dont remember much about jason and his mom but.. like on the show if he was physically looked like her for angst reasons while Thalia looked more like zeus although black jason is a cool idea im just scared of fans going to murder me

no that's so valid!! i obvi love love love black grace siblings BUT i think it would definitely also make sense for thalia who resembles zeus + jason who just... doesn't. bc it also kinda makes sense considering it's clear that zeus has a favourite kid (and it isn't jason 😭), so there's that.

idk if we'll get hera scenes in s2 bc she isn't mention until... book 4? idk- but it would be kinda cool to see an hera who resembled jason's mom? if that makes sense? so we could have like jason who looks like hera, bc she basically raised him more than zeus OR his mom, and then thalia who looks like zeus???

not gonna lie the show thus far has felt like rick riordan just subtly rewriting his book the way he would do it now to better develop characters and relationships and such and personally i’m here for it because it means we get shit like the consensus song and medusa being a sympathetic villain because girl she was a victim !!

Rick wanted to age Nico up to ship him but didn't want to actually make the correct amount of time in-universe pass. So he just. Did it.

And when everyone called him out on fucking up, Rick said, "well actually Percy is just bad at guessing ages because he's stupid."

Sir, Grover is the one who told Percy that Nico is 10 in TTC. Percy didn't guess at all.
