My second #PeripheralHeartAction or #PHA #MiniCircuit I did today consisted of 1️⃣ #ParallelGrip #DumbbellInclinePress at about a 75 degree angle to concentrate on the #Shoulders, especially the #FrontDelts. 2️⃣ #LandmineFrontSquat also called #ECTFrontSquat (extreme core trainer). This gives the #Quads, #Glutes, #Hamstrings a good #Workout. 3️⃣ #PlankJumpingJacks which is slightly more #Dynamic than a normal #Plank. Another #ShelterInPlace #TrainingSession in the books! As an #AgingAthlete I do not #Train the same way I used to. Despite what tradition says, I train #TotalBodyWorkouts at least 6 days per week using #PeripheralHeartAction or #PHA #Training. For each #BodyPart or movement I vary the #Volume, #Intensity and even #RangeOfMotion, so nothing is really #OverLoaded two days in a row, but it works my #CardiovascularSystem and #BoostsMetabolism everyday. Keeping my #Routine going! Got in another #PeripheralHeartAction or #PHA #TrainingSession today. The first #MiniCiruit was #DumbbellFlyes immediately into #DumbbellBenchPress, #LandmineSumoDeadlift finishing with #StandingRussianTwist. The second mini circuit was #LandmineAlternateThrows and #DumbbellRDL’s The last mini circuit was #LandmineBentOverRow, #DumbbellSquatJump and #PlateToeTouchCrunch. I definitely mix up the #volume and #intensity from #Exercise to exercise because I DO #Train #TotalBodyWorkouts everyday! I am very much a person of #Routine! The #ChineseVirus with its “#ShelterInPlace” means I am completely out of my routine. You may relate to this yourself. It is critical that you create a new routine for your #Strength and #Fitness right away. Today I did 3 #MiniCircuits of 4 #Rounds of each. My circuits incorporate #PeripheralHeartAction or #PHA for short to increase the #Cardiovascular benefits of my #Training and to maximize #Metabolism and #FatBurning! The first circuit was #DumbbellBenchPress variation followed by a #DumbbellGobletSquat and knee pull-in crunch. My second circuit consisted of an hybrid #InclineDumbbellPress and a plate walk, though I used a medicine ball. My third circuit included dual #DumbbellBentOverRow, Dumbbell #StraightLegDeadlifts and a lying dumbbell crunch. Working the #UpperBack, primarily the #Lats with #SeatedCableRows using the #E3CableGrips and #E3Gloves.
