Umbrella chronosian terms for those who feel they are permanently "stuck" as an age younger than they chronologically/physically are; everkid for 12 or under, evertween for 10-13 and everteen for 13-18.

These are synonyms/recoins of the terms permakid/permatween/permateen. They are inherently neutral and can apply to any situation of younger-age incongruence that affects one enough to feel like a "different" age. They can be used as an alternative to "transage".

PermaTween Tips

Braindumping a bunch of ideas i came up with for this request

- Read books for your age demographic! dork diaries, diary of a wimpy kid, dog man, etc.

- Have fun on portal game sites like coolmathgames or ABCYA. male sure they are kid appropriate games though!

- Dont be ashamed to go to a playground, even if it is just to go use the swing. If you are shy you can go to playgrounds that are empty.

- Do math from age demographics grade. By letting yourself regress down to thinking tween grade math is the hardest you dont have to focus on big kid math.

- Buy yourself some toys! Have a toy box! Build legos! Get fidget toys! get those little things that will make you happy.

- Watch shows for your age demographic. For example: MLP, True and the Rainbow Kingdom, Captain underpants, etc! And if you want you could wear clothes of your favorite show!

- To atay permanetly tween don’t focus on big kid stuff of adult stuff like politics, hard math, etc. Just focus on doing the things you like to do and dont let yourself get distracted for being permanently a tween.

- Put a phone timer on your phone so you cannget off your phone and go play outside or play with your toys instead of being on ypur phone and scrolling.

- Coloring book and a big pack of crayons. Do i need to say more?

- Get happy over the small things in life like fondinf a coin on the floor, you got a new toy, you saw a butterfly outside today, etc etc. Just be happy and notice those small things!

- Practice messier handwriting, tweens usually dont have the best of handwriting.

- Celebrate holidays like you mean it! Santa is real and brings gifts on christmas, the leprechaun will give you gold coins, and the waster bunny does hide eggs on easter! Its all real! Get festive :)

- Treat yourself to sweets, but not too many sweets. And remember to brush your teeth. On the topic of teeth you can buy childrens toothpaste to use! The ones with flavors like watermelon or bubble gum.

- Have a little notebook as your diary to journal in at the end of the day. Using crayons, or whatever writing utensil, just write about your day, simple things like: What interesting thing did you see today? Did you learn something new? Did you see an animal? Etc! Just write about your day :)

What does being a “chronological adult” mean? /genq
