#perona and santa

A gift was left close the bed where Perona had slept. It was a small Jar with twine wrapped around it. Inside was a necklace made out of a thick black twine that held tufts of soft, glowing locks. It was Serosh's fur! All for her to enjoy! Inside was a note as well!

"DEAR LASS,

I WISHETH THEE A VERIE MERRY CHRISMAHS. MINE GOOD FRIEND, GODFREY HAD TOLDETH ME THAT THOU LOVE HIS COMPANIEON SEROSH. SO SEROSH HATH VERY KINELY GAVE SOEME OF HIS FUR FOUR YE.

Now to be frank, the jar on its own would have been kept precious to Perona eternally. But the moment she sees that necklace, she recognizes Serosh's fur and erupts with glee. With joyful broken giggles she rolls around on the bed, clutching it tightly to herself.

At first she doesn't do it correctly, watching it dance around her wrist as she twirls her arm. But then she recognizes the kind of tie it requires and manages without needing to call for help.

"San...taaa! Santaaa!" She squeals, giggling the minutes away.

This girl is eternally on the Nice List.

hihihi @hyriaven i was your @op-secret-santa this year!!! at first i was drew aokiji bc i mean… look at him. i saw you loved AUs, so i was like ok! modern! he’s at the beach! i imagine him as the laziest “lifeguard” who can’t actually swim. he’s just there for the sun (not unlike a cat)

and then i saw we both love perona and so i had to draw her!! my gal!! she’s definitely more halloween than secret santa-ey but i think it worked out

Running up, Perona has the completely meaningless bag of treats in one hand, and one o them embroidery looms in the other. About bouncing on her heels, she offers them to Serosh and Godfrey, respectively, beaming with pride and delight.

The embroidery is... Well, it's meant to be of both Godfrey and Morgott, her in the middle as if to scale. All three figures are abysmally done, signaling her being unversed but dedicated to the art.

"Se...rosh!" She happily chirps, offering the open bag to Serosh properly.

Whew! He managed to get all of his Santa gear off before Perona came running. He had a feeling he needed to make a quick change once he heard Perona giggling and jumping around in her chambers.

"What thou hath there, Lass? A gift for me? Thou'rt too kind l-" He paused for a brief moment as he saw the tall figure next to him in the embroidery. Was that... Morgott? Has she met Morgott??

He snapped back to attention when he Serosh mewled sharply as he munched down on some treats Perona hand fed him. Maybe it was Margit she made and was thinking off? Either way, Morgott isn't one to just approach a stranger, let alone a child. How she knows of him perplexes him.

"I thank thee, Lass." He gives her a gentle pat on the back. Either way, it's a cute little embroidery that he'll probably hang on the wall of his chambers.

Ace has tricked a rando on the street he was homeless and has got like $200 from it

We know Sabo gets arrested once in a while right? So I like to think Koala is the one bailing him out.. (With Nami's money)

Sabo is the one dude that everyone knows is insane but still simp over him anyway

Sanji is trying to quit smoking (because nami said so)

When Luffy sleeps over at his friends house (Specifically Sanji's) they do make him shower

Zoro has almost gotten arrested for carrying a weapon without a warrant

Nami has dated someone for money

Robin (If she is in this AU) met Luffy because he came to help her find a very old guarded book from the library (a.k.a the Polnglephs)

Ussop wants to do a merial of his mother on a wall or building but doesn't have the courage to do so

Sanji is a nepotism baby

Ace dropped out in High school

Nami does coax Sanji into giving her free food

When Zoro & Perona do get together, Perona does his nails and talks crap about ANYONE (including Luffy, Nami, Sanji, and the most popular Ussop)

Sabo is in charge when anyone gets sick

Sanji has a soup for every sickness

Zoro went to the hospital from overworking himself

Ace has been taken to the hospital because of sleeping to long after a meal

Nami wears contacts

Ussop really, really likes Bandanas

In all seriousness, though. I’m really glad for this opportunity to draw some OP stuff since I just haven’t really done so properly. Thanks to tha coordinators of the funy secret santa and to my giftee for letting me draw funy ghost woman and a marimo. My two favourite things.
