Made a brief post about the boy who fly's and never grows up from here. Finally, just wiped the floors with the homie Peter Pan. The first quarter of the game was pretty chilling. Later, it gets challenging and a little hardcore in that. Fighting the bosses reminds me of the time I’ve danced with Crash Bandicoot, except the game is 2D Platform and the 3D scenery. The OST was beautifully played, it was the vibe. This one has it’s own plot, it doesn’t involved any of the London kids on this one. Love it how they made the story of it’s own, other then based on the film. Which I am fine with it as well.

Shout out to the Kingdom Hearts fans for trying this out. Tinker Bell has some of her own solo also.

3. What tropes do you like writing about the most? (´▽`ʃƪ)

That's honestly a good question, now that I look over my works, both original and fic. I think the thing that crops up the most in both sections is legacy - legacy characters, roles and how we all deal with it and inherit it. I think it really comes from my own experience of being the first freeborn daughter of two different families who escaped Communist Romania prior to the revolution, and the struggles they had to get their freedom. It gives me a lot to think on family legacy in my case, both ancestral and more personal, as I have found myself associating with my mom's inheritance more than I could my dad's.

In the Eagle's Cross Eddsworld universe, Cora and her siblings in the titular series have different ways of reacting to and embracing their ancestors' adventurous, if admittedly outlandish, histories and personalities. In 'The Christmas Calamity,' Jaxx (one of the main characters) is first trying to outright refuse it, but eventually comes to fall in love with it on his own terms and terms he has to redefine. Cora herself in 'The Eagle's Cross' has still to unravel some (honestly very opaque) mysterious past with her ancestors and dragging in her little sister and her own best friend into it.

In my own original detective show, the main detective and her 'Watson' partner are chasing after her hero's own mysteries to solve and eventually have to come up and fight against his enemies; leading the way to find out that her hero's adventures, mysteries and stories entwine closely to her own history and potentially taking up the mantle he sacrificed to save her life.

With Maddox Darling and his adventures in the Galaxy Far Far Away, it's more subtle. The Peter Pan references and links are on purpose, but they're not direct or in-your-face (his surname, the pin he constantly wears from his sister, etc). That being said, while he does have Peter Pan tendencies, his role is more of a Wendy Darling situation, honestly. He'll grow up eventually, but it doesn't mean he'll forget his loves nor stop adventuring. His legacy is more about what he leaves behind on the galaxy's inhabitants circa the Imperial and Rebellion era, but also the kind of legacy they leave on him and how he'll eventually take it home. That's why I love doing RP with him, because he's literally quite a character to Throw Into Situations and I'm figuring out his canon as I go along.

Shows I dropped/didn’t finished: The Glory(kdrama) - I watched the first episode and I loved it!! But had to stop cause there was a sex scene in episode 2💀 I was in my living room when the moaning started😭 jump scare fr! but I’ll continue once I finish ysblf. Game of Thrones- I stopped in season 5, got scared cause everyone said that’s when the series goes downhill 🫠 I’ll continue later on since I do want to finish and move on to House of the Dragon.

Currently reading: The last book I’ve read was The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. It’s so good I recommend! Evelyn is simply a badass! Other than that I’ve mostly been reading fanfics🙈 a fic I finished a few hours ago was What If…(YSBLF Version) by RocioAndrews on Wattpad. I love this fic!! I’m always waiting patiently for updates 😆 Also I’ve recently bought Haunting Adeline by H.D. Carlton and I’m excited to read it soon!

Currently listening to (sneaky additional question): I’ve been listening to a lot of Shakira songs lately. I’m actually currently obsessed with Ojos Asi 💃🏻 also I’ve been listening to the OST from Blue Exorcist, it’s one of my fav anime. I dug these ladies out from my storage unit and decided to make a comeback. due to The Little Mermaid live film been going on. Except it’s not about Peter Pan on this one, but it’s like a time loop though. Played this last time back when I grabbed a pre-owned copy of this, to be sure if the disc is in great condition. 

I officially completed the game, took me few hours to wipe the floor with these exquisite duo mermaids. Without spoiling it, it felt like a recap before the actual show start, I think you’ll know it when you dive a bit deeper in the campaign. If you watched Little Mermaid before that is. Generally speaking, the cutscenes is exactly been taken from the film. Yes, this game is based on the film. Let’s bring in the boy who fly and never grew up once more.. Peter Pan PS1 cutscenes is in it own original. I mean I don’t hate it, I love it, I don’t mind it. As a KH fan or something. The game is 3D and 2D Platform Style, except they swim in water, like they fly. Of course, Peter Pan fly on the sky. There’s few levels that feature lands. This one is pretty chilling, unlike that Peter Pan game. It’s a bit hardcore for teens I guess. This one I guess it meant to be for kids. As a KH fan, I digged it, I vibed with it. The beautiful OST is one in the book. Try the game out, especially for the KH fans. Go get it.
