with how it ends with peri doing a meta comment hoping they'll get a season 2. i think it's safe to assume the writers want a season 2. and with that in mind, it makes what happened with Dev something more similar to sequel bait than actual end of his character. i mean Peri's introduction was even through Dev, without him he'd be just. there. which would be a shame just in terms of writing. especially when the writer also clearly likes Peri since our man is the one having the final line of the season. in the same way I'm pretty sure the writers care a lot about Dev too, I mean, even in this finale at his darkest hour you had constant reminders of how he's just. desperate for his father's attention. So yeah.
Dev not remembering is likely not his intended final ending, just the logical one for this finale that also pushes you to want to see more. Hazel's friends and brother remembering is an opening for new situations in a second season (Hazel may get pushed to make wishes by them, even if sometimes involuntarily; Hazel may make more wishes directly involving them, allowing for newer stories that couldn't be carried by just Hazel Cosmo and Wanda); Dev forgetting is the bait to make you want a second season
#fop#also of course you know that if there's a second season peri will have to be brought back#because the execs definitely noticed how popular he got and they won't let that juicy part of the meat go#of course if it doesn't get renewed that finale will be disappointing for dev#but im ok with it because. well. you should blame nickelodeon for not picking up the show for a second season.#i always have a lot of empathy for show writersp#the state of things where you sign for one season at a time without knowing if you'll get a next one or not must be so stressful#your season needd to be both fulfilling on its own yet still not solve everything or else you'll hve a season 2 with nothing to say#and i think ending your season 1 in a way that is mostly satisfactory while still having a hook is a good way to do it#because either you'll get picked for a second season either you're bringing light to that issue#anyway ramble over#fairly oddparents#fop a new wish

IT'S JUST SO...!! savior's wardrobe scrubbed clean of her original culture and preferences#replaced with the foreign garments of her captor's nations.....in line with this. i love how her kokoshnik and khaenri'ahn earrings are big#and attention-grabbing. you can't look at her without taking note of those accessories. it begs the question:: how many times has savior#looked at the mirror after being dressed up in snezhnaya and was unable to recognize her own reflection?? :'>#also shoutout to some details aine shared with me: 1) the face marks are inspired by weeping angels 2) the kokoshnik was traditionally worn#by married noblewomen BUT the veil was normally for unmarried women so savior's outfit can be seen as a form of compliance + rebellion#(though later on in history it became accepted for married women to also wear that veil. also my apologies if what i said is inaccurate)#lastly shoutout to savior's expression!! very poised and mysterious....due to her emotional state or pierro's rules on how to act as his#spouse in public?? we'll never know~ the first drawing hits even harder when you compare it to the next one!! such an interesting contrast~#savior in her plain attire. casual and domestic with a smile on her face....i'm guessing this is her pre-fatui version?? she looks so warm#and friendly. and i can definitely understand why pierro fell for her smile <3#also i fucking love the caption. sorry pierro but you are cursed to be a loser/ simp/ pathetic man in all of my fics and AUs xD#NOW ONTO GODDESS! OK so I was GOING to draw fanart today - I had a fun idea and everything! But health anxiety (and anti-anxiety meds) wore me out so I kinda .... slogged through OCs as a treat to me. I am going to go to the doctor tomorrow so HOPEFULLY it's all okay.

hm... i don't think they would or could? she starts slashin' as soon as others are in range, and it's pretty tough to get past those claws. but i've been toying with an idea where, while Howdy and Frank are out looking for more supplies they find a new section that has building tools in it. hammer, nails. if they board up Sally's house, i think it would take a very long time for her to break out

I’m playing Genshin and I just met Dainsleif and followed him to the Temple of the falcon. (Don’t worry there isn’t any spoilers in the post). Anywho, all through out the temple are a lot of wolfhook.
When I play, I’m picking up everything I can while traveling or completing guests, so I just imagine (once you get through the temple) Dainsleif talking (mostly to himself) and not realizing that Lumine is just picking up all the wolfhook
