Edmond Malassis, Illustrations for Théodore de Banville's play "Gringoire", 1904.
Unfortunately the book is rare and I've only been able to find images on auction sites so far.

Do you know what friendship is?
It is to be brother and sister; two souls which touch without mingling, two fingers on one hand.

👀👋 I know it's been ages since I've been here, but I'm popping back in to share the new Notre Dame de Paris/Hunchback of Notre Dame Discord Server!
Discussion and content about all adaptations and characters are welcome. Plus, discussion and content about the historical background, Victor Hugo and the restoration of Notre Dame. There's space to show off your fanworks and original creations, and even space to discuss a large variety of non-NDdP/HoND topics.
The Server is only a few days old, but there's already ~20 very active members and we're planning on organizing some group activities & events shortly (ie. creative works, watch parties, etc).
I'm super excited to grow the fandom. Everyone is welcome!

I'm so unhappy that I didn't know that today was Daniel lavoie's birthday, I wish I had made a good Frollo drawing for him 😭

It's a woman's part to build a fire. But it was a man who first brought it to Earth. Who? Prometheus. Who's that? A God who stole it from heaven by holding a rod to the sun till it burned into flame. He created creatures out of clay and blew his breath into them and they came to life and they too could make fires to warm their bodies. As we do? Just as we do. - Gringoire & Esmerelda.

My funny man, beloved Pierre
throughout the novel Pierre has been nothing but entertaining to read, he is my poet. 😚
I felt the need to give him a stupid haircut as well.
Already have a concept for his clothes actually, gonna be making full body concepts soon.

fuckyeahhond -> hunchbackofnotredames
Hi! I'm Emily. I’ve been very active in The Hunchback of Notre Dame fandom since ~2006 and a Mod for fuckyeahhond since 2015, but I had very limited administrative access. I was granted full ownership in March 2024, and I’m excited to revive this blog and share my crazy obsession love for The Hunchback of Notre Dame/Notre Dame de Paris (HoND/NDdP). Please note, this is a side blog. My main blog is ohquasimodo.
Also, if you’re interested in a place to chat with other fans, I invite you to join the HoND/NDdP Discord Server!
