What’s the secret to drawing Brain’s old man face?

personally I visualize the most punchable face I can think of and channel all of my rage and disgust into my drawing hand and just let it do its thing but that’s just me

(in all seriousness tho idk what to tell you other than go through all the patb eps and screencap a ton of references of him with different expressions and his giant noggin at various angles and just practice! I’ve been drawing him over and over again for like 4+ years now so it’s just a matter of repetition and gradually figuring out how his facial structure works. you’re on your own for his chubby head tho because it continues to be the bane of my existence and I honestly have to just eyeball it until it looks “right” to me lmao but yeah it might take some time to get the hang of it so don’t be discouraged!! my first pics of him were awfulll but like I said, using reference from the show helped me a lot so I recommend starting from there 👍 good luck!)

I miss the Pinky and the Brain fandom. Had so many chats about these mice and so much fun writing them but I kinda fell away from the fandom after the reboot aired.

Cause the more I thought about it, the more I realize the reboot, in my opinion, did a lot of damage to the Internet perception of the mice.

It was doing a lot of things to me because I kept seeing Brain flanderized into an evil edgy psychopath and Pinky got turned into a complete moron and I just felt like a lot of nuance to them, especially to Brain, was lost somewhere over the years.

Which Version Do You Guys Prefer Exactly When It Comes To Animaniacs And Why?

• It’s been quite some time since I drew some Animaniacs art. But I’ve been wanting to take my sweet time to challenge my attempts at 3d painting rather than 2d. I really loved how these portraits came out and I am happy to have finished them way before the Animaniacs 30th anniversary. I honestly did not have any good reason to finally publish these, but I want to present these as my love and appreciation for this silly cartoon show.

• I really enjoyed being a part of this fandom and I am proud of how much I’ve grown as an artist. I’ve realized how much time I’ve put into drawing Animaniacs related art, that I don’t get to draw other stuff I enjoy, so from now on, I might not be drawing Animaniacs art constantly, but I’ll always be happy to draw them occasionally. Happy 30th Anniversary Animaniacs, thanks for all the laughs and wholesome Warner sibs. 🥹

So a while ago I suggested that maybe after the Animaniacs reboot we'd get a new Pinky and the Brain movie.

And you know what?

WE ALMOST DID!!!!

According to Maurice LaMarche, a new Pinky and the Brain movie was in development, but it "went the same way as the coyote", an obvious reference to what happened to Coyote Vs Acme.

Did it become a tax write-off?

I don't think so. He specifically says "they killed it" and goes on to say "maybe it will be in development again", so what I think happened is that new management took over and the movie was scrapped, not written-off.

This seems to be that potential movie the VAs were hinting at in interviews they did to advertise season 3 of the reboot, such as the one featured in this article:

Although that's just speculation, they could've just been hoping for a movie, although it does seem like the movie was in development at around the same time the reboot was coming to an end. And if that's the case, I have to assume it was going to provide a conclusion to Julia's arc...
