Maybe in an Au where Tarrlok gets full control of the city like Amon did (not just the task force) and teaches Lin a lesson for blocking his political moves and such.

It’s clear in the episodes he thinks of her as a powerful piece he needs to remove to get what he wants. But with her so close to the avatar and councilman tenzin it would be unwise to target her without a good cover (the failure of the Sato raid)

Even then if he wants to keep the other council members on his side he would need to take her out without anyone noticing 👀

Alliance of the gods

In the land of the gods, the mighty Odin, ruler of Asgard and father of the Norse gods, sat on his throne, contemplating the state of the nine realms. For many centuries, the gods of Asgard had ruled over their domains in peace and harmony, but now, dark forces were stirring in the land of the dead.

Odin knew that he would need to call upon the aid of the other gods to defeat the threat, but he also knew that they had grown complacent and lazy in their power. So, he decided to call upon the gods of other pantheons to aid him in his quest.

First, he called upon Zeus, the mighty ruler of Mount Olympus and the god of lightning. Zeus, eager to prove his worth, readily accepted the challenge and promised to bring his strongest warriors to Asgard.

Finally, Odin called upon Chronos, the god of time, to aid them in their quest. Chronos, who had grown tired of watching the gods squander their power, agreed to help and promised to use his powers to help the gods succeed.

Together, the gods of Asgard, Olympus, and Japan formed a powerful alliance and set out to defeat the dark forces that threatened their realms. After many battles and much bloodshed, they were victorious, and the realms were once again at peace.

And so, the gods of the three pantheons lived in harmony, sharing their knowledge and power, and helping each other to protect the realms from any future threats.

NOTE TO SELF: My first run-in with those beans, which were chockfull of ground beef, making this meal even heartier than it already was. Not a bad option if the appetite is there. I've figured out that the chicken quarters are more fresh when they're in the display case, so if they aren't, go with the wings.
