Thinking about Byfield(Will and Max) conflicting views on divorce. Will who witnessed first hand how hard it was for his mother to leave an abusive relationship when the stigma around divorce is extremely present for the safety of her kids and watch his mother leave that relationship to go on and find much better. And Max who watched her parents divorce and everything go downhill from there who probably believes divorce is a bad thing who divorce introduced her to a much more abusive family dynamic and now she lives in worse material circumstances. I wonder how Will and Max would talk about it if they ever got a chance to speak about it.

But, I’m definitely intrigued with what Max has to say to Will.

On screen, they have minimal interactions and when [spoiler] Max was being Vecna’d: there weren’t any memories of Will.

Did they have a friendship off screen? Does she admire him as a friend from afar?
