Plixik posted two more pictures today! First pic is of Roland and Vale’s castle Outside we see two knights One regular and the one with a big nose Not sure if it’s exactly the one we saw before but it probably is I think the reason he was blocking the path before was because the castle was in that direction In the bottom left we see a derpy plant and I feel like we’ll have to help it grow Second picture is the same as the last picture of the inside of the castle But now Roland has a different line Also, It wasn’t confirmed, but it looks like they’re the king and queen of the first world, and I would have bet money that they were royals of the third world, they look wacky enough Dev said a few days ago that this game won’t have anything lewd but will have strong language And Plixik said that the game is almost done so we should be getting more info soon! Can’t wait!

The Spiral Scouts Is A Crass, Dopey, Puzzling Adventure

Are you a lover of puzzles and riddles? Do you also enjoy a brightly colored art style with a Paper Mario feel? Do you also enjoy profanity and butts? The Spiral Scouts checks all of these boxes and more if you dare venture in the dark crevices of this puzzling, perplexing, and grotesque adventure.

Play as Remae, fresh meat in the Spiral Scouts, who has a tall task ahead of her. She must venture to different realms to help retrieve the founders of the Spiral Scouts so that they may reunite and perform an ancient ceremony. To break the seals that keep the founders jailed, Remae must collect Scout Badges from across the land. You'll have to keep your thinking cap on while you solve over 50 unique puzzles to obtain these badges. Or maybe not, given that the these activities are coming from "dozens of idiots" you can interact with.

If you're worried you'll burn yourself out on a puzzle, don't worry. You don't have to take challenges on in a linear order. Along with tricky puzzles and some great music to play to, you'll be able to enjoy some hilarious (and depraved) comedy in the form of the characters that populate the world. You'll meet dozens of these goofs and giggle along with low-brow to witty humor (but mostly low-brow).

I’ve been off my game! (Literally) I haven’t been giving Spiral Scouts enough attention and I’m gonna try to get caught up! A while ago Plixik, the person drawing all the beautiful artwork in spiral scouts made a “Development History” video I reblogged it so if you want to watch it, it’s really informative He shows off some things we haven’t see so I’ll go over that now The first pic is shows some artwork of characters that were made at the beginning of the development of the game The lower left guy was the original main character but got replaced by Remae Plixik says that all the designs got scrapped except two, which are Sol, the cloak guy we saw in the hunie direct, who looks relatively the same as the concept art, with a few changes like a blue spiral on his stomach instead of green, eyebrows, and a more gruff look to him And the girl next to him, I’m not gonna lie, I can’t match her to any of the girls from the first pic, I’m thinking the girl with lavender hair or the girl with pink hair, both beside Sol But her hairstyle and color don’t match, or her eye color or outfit, other than that tho, she looks cute and I hope she’s full of personality Next two pictures are one of the first spreadsheets and a complete spreadsheet that’ll be in the game You can definitely see how his art improved from the beginning to now, there is so much detail when you compare the trees He said he some assets we reused and redrawn but the rest was scrapped I’m really impressed by the quality and I hope to see more after the game comes out!

Last three important pictures of the development history video! These three show off that weird world we’ve seen here and there So it looks like these might be species that live here The first pic shows a new area we haven’t seen, with a big sign saying “THE HOLE” at the bottom and two mushroom houses for these blobs, one of them being called Eugene, which I can only imagine having a nasally voice And we might need to move him somehow Third pic is of a farmer who needs help I’m guess he wants you to get those green blobs that look like pigs Other than that, there are some shovels on the right that look like they have eyes Not sure what that’s about

Next set of pictures from Plixik’s video! We start off with the boy we’ve seen a few times before His name is Mallow and I’m assuming he’s the one who gives you the piece of paper with the moon on it Next is Remae going through a door, which we’ve seen her exit from before This must be a hub world type place where you can go from each world easily Next pic is the same door I was just talking about but I’m the graveyard world We’ve seen the gravestones before but this is a better look at them And on the right of that picture you can see a big gravestone with a skull with a fedora and cigar, neat. Next is the same area but a little further down, there’s a fox statue with the electric orb things and I’m guessing that we collect the orbs in this world for puzzles like this one Next two pictures are in the area we saw Sol in that one time The first of the pair show another big gravestone on the right with an infinity and circle symbol, and button platform Second pic of the pair is past the gate and we see skeletons roaming around, I’m guessing they’re the ones who made those holes in the ground, and maybe we have to convince them to get back in? Third to last and last pic are two big gates again, but these are different from. The other ones, they have pictures above the door, the first having three eye monsters (there’s a specific name but I forgot, all that comes to mind is that Kirby boss) and the other one has a piece of paper with sunshine rays in the back And second to last picture has a house, which if I had to guess, is the house with that scientist guy and the red yellow green levers But that’s my guess

One is the first "functional" version of The Spiral Scouts and one is the most recent version. Hopefully it's obvious which is which.
