Here is some art for all those around the world who are staying at home. We’re in this together. . . . This digital collage is made up of hundreds of our microscope images of a (dead) fly that was attached to a significant tree in the Amazon jungle in Brazil. The images were taken during our 2019 @labverde artist immersion in the Amazon. I think that @vicflock was actually right there when these images were taken! They were taken in the LabVERDE boat in the Cuieiras river system (Barreirinha, Rio Cuieiras, Central Amazonia, Brazil). . This image represents broken and disrupted nature. It’s printed in large format. Machine Lullaby Shows Tech in Bed Can Help You Rest

Designed by PluginHUMAN art duo Dr Betty Sargeant and Justin Dwyer, Inter-Dream involves an interactive bed and ambient music controlled by the artists, and kaleidoscopic visuals controlled by the user with their own brainwaves, via EEG. 

With each brain frequency assigned a different colour and brainwave intensity tied to movement, each person’s brain activity generates unique imagery.

[ i miss your touch ] was created in 2020 as a virtual interactive video experience. This artwork won a Good Design Award (2020) and is now a finalist in the Premiers Design Awards - Yippee! . This virtual interactive video experience transports two people who are in separate locations into a shared virtual environment. This online platform launched in March 2020 as a rapid response to pandemic conditions. It helps people maintain meaningful social and physical connections and provides a personalised art experience.
